SilentBob's (no-drama) chatroom

Welp, screwed myself this weekend. :(

Took the bike to the shop at 12:15 to get the tire put on. Said they'd have it done before close no prob - 2:00 close. Had to run 25 miles up the road to pick up a crapload of corn from my wife's boss and figured I had plenty of time to get back and get the bike. Nope. They're close tomorrow and Monday, I MAY get there in time later Tuesday but won't have anyone to get me there so I can get it home until after about 8:00 that night. Probably have to wait till Wednesday now. ARGH!!!!

On the "plus" side, we now have about 20 dozen ears of corn to shuck, cook or pack up. Uh.... I'm not a huge fan of corn. :(

Couldn't the Mrs. have picked it up for you man? Sux to have your plans bamboozled like that. On the bright side, Monsanto would be proud of you T-AD!!!

i caught the inuendo in that-i heard that 100% of american grown corn is now hybrid, which means it has insecticide built into the seed when they plant it. monsanto is a major player in this scheme.

Not uber-huge, but big enough. Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak SE Roughly 8 1/2 feet tip to tail. She pulls me well. :) And yes, that's a bandaid on the tank.

It adds character I'd say. Sorry about your lack of riding this weekend. My weekend fell through big time as well.

Here's to our sucky weekend!

The bandaid is there to cover up the dent/scratches in the tank from when I went down on some rocks earlier this year. Despite the bandaid, I still took home a top 20 trophy out of 300 bikes in a show this summer!! VERY proud of that one!

Raked-out Sportster?

Couldn't find one w/ the NFL

Your not going to believe this but I got stopped at a crosswalk today and had to wait as a school of roddies crossed my path. It was kind of adorable in a funny way...

Could not have been any worse than what I watched with the Cardinals!!

The ND Michigan game did not dissapoint even though my team lost. Some bad luck they have a solid team... great game..

A school of whaaa?

Well, peer pressure got the best of me this weekend. After reading the post you guys put up, I bailed on the margaritas Friday nite, and had only 2 glasses of red wine at the wedding party.

On a good note, I was able to get 200lbs. of, off the boat fresh, gulf shrimp for $2.00 lb.

Sounds like a BP special right there...

We do this every year. The shimp are just a little smaller this year, last year they were $2.50lb. All together, we(friends and family) bought 700lbs. off this particular boat. Shrimp fest at my house last night. Sa Cest Bon!!!

Those little motorized carts often seen carry senior citizens... seriously had like 4 of them form a line and cross the road. Pretty funny.

Me love shrimp!!!

I bet I can beat that price on shrimp! Red Lobster is running endless shrimp right now and I think it's only about $15. Last time I hit it seriously I was intent on making the waitress tired of running back and forth. I think my count ended around 120 or so of those little tasty bastards. Mmmmmm.... me love skrimps!! :D

No Outback around me, which is probably a good thing! I don't need a 1200 calorie onion to spoil my progress, not even on a cheat day!

They are dang tasty, though. ;) lol

wow-you aint kidding!!! maybe once a month-no more, lol.

The Outback down here blows. We have Texas Roadhouse which is pretty good. Red Lobster shut down a few years ago, it was horrible.

We have a ton of Cajun style places. That's really what killed Red Lobster, all the seafood restaurants we have. I'm only seventy miles from the Gulf of Mexico.

do you really trust the seafood from the gulf since the spill? i have heard there is a major cover up going on.

Best steak house I ever ate at was Longhorns Steakhouse. Best bourbon salmon on the market!!! Get it with a sweet potato and man your have a tasty dinner.

st. elmo's steakhouse, right here in indy. monday night football tv guys rave about it all the time.

Honestly, it's not as bad as the media/government make it out to be. They were WAY overestimating the amount of oil coming from the well. When it was piped up to the surface, it increased due to less head pressure of the deep water.

Everyone here is still fishing and eating their catch. It's the commercial fishermen that are crying. They just want a check.

wow-i heard the opposite. the gov and bp were both running for cover-why would they overestimate. bp was getting fined by the gallon, i can't see them saying there was MORE rather than less. sorry just don't buy it.

Been away from here for awhile... here's a little treat for T-MONEY... back to regular programing :)
