RPN Presents: Atomic Meltdown

I also want to point out that this smells EXACTLY like Flawless, which is a variation on the Java Lather scent.

The whole tanning experience turns into a party for not only your skin, but your nose as well. :)

did I hear nose party?

Almost reached orgasm skimming this thread this afternoon...

:toofunny:

I can't say that I blame you.

I am so in on this. I plan on starting tanning again when I start going back to the gym. I really can't wait. Atomic Meltdown is gonna kick ordinary tanning lotions in the nuts. :nutkick:

what kind of price range are you expecting dsade?

do you plan on going mainstream with this? I would imagine many of the women who tan regularly would find topical fat loss to be very appealing

We have every intent on trying to go mainstream. I think people will love it.

Retail price on this will be $45.99 for 8-8.5 full ounces of product.

As Christine said, we are absolutely going mainstream. My distributor used to handle a whole slew of Tanning Salons on the West Coast, and will be handling this expansion as well.

for the whole face application, just put it all over your body and about half way through the session, pat your face with your hands. your face wont burn but it will still get decent color. its worked for me for 5 years. btw i cant wait to try this stuff.

Good idea...reps for the suggestion.

how long will it last if ur applying it on the upper body each day?

actually if its meant for tanning/fatloss would you only bother using it when you intend on hitting the sun or sunbed rather then every day?

Yep...this is meant to be applied before sun or UV exposure. With that, a bottle should last about 20 full-body applications.

We hope you will enjoy it. It should last the same as any standard salon lotion. I have used it with no discomfort or sides.
have you used it on your entire body at one time? thats gotta be intense fat loss! haha

Did i say that i need some yet? :box:

the stuff i usually use is 8.5 ounces and has lasted me forever, just be careful so that you aren't wasteful. very excited for this product, and the price is certainly competitive with the other tanners and includes a nice addition. has there been any beta testing? if this pans out, it's a very clever idea

We performed in-house beta testing, and also sent some out to a couple of customers.

We also tested it out at the Gold's Gym in Hilliard, OHIO...the feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

I have used it on my whole bady, minus the face. However I never use any lotion on my face for the acne reasons.

awesome, that's what I expected out of one of your products :box:

I have some of this in hand. It smells great.
I'm really looking forward to using it.

Question about it though; would you recommend it more for outdoor use or at a tanning salon?

Also, would the fatloss effect be more subtle? Would this be good to stack w/ using regular napalm?

We even improved the scent further. It took a subtle tinker in the fruity undertone to do it.

I would recommend this product for maximum effectiveness to be used in a salon. A close second would be a pool environment (llying next to, not swimming in) followed by a beach. Fatloss occurs all over, but without systemic absorption playing a role. This was just not viable with a standard topical...but since you cover your entire body with tanning lotion anyway, the idea just makes mucho senso.

Yes, this would be a good stacker with napalm, but I recommend spacing quite a few hours apart (4-5 minimum) to prevent color smearing.

Say, some of us tan every day, or every other day. Should 8-8.5 ounces last for well over a month? I guess it also depends on exactly how much you put on. Just asking for your input. :)

I noticed the words 'color smearing.' Is AM almost like an instant bronzer as well? I just figured I'd ask because I'll definitely get acne if my pores get clogged up. I'm also concerned about one area of my body being much darker than another.

It does have a bronzer in it, but I have NEVER noticed any pore clogging effect from DHA.

I don't mean to hound you with questions. I'm just very interested in this. It's more of the color smearing that I worry about. I'd hate for one area of my body to tan much darker than another. I really appreciate you responding so soon.

I've never noticed any of this from using it. If you have tanned at a salon before and used salon quality products with triple bronzers in it. Its like using that. It intensifies the tanning rays however it is not like a self tanner in that you are blotchy.

Oh, okay! I follow now. Thanks for the quick responses. :)

Bronzers in tanning bed products are different from bronzers in those SELF tanning products. They are very subtle. Most of the color you will get will be from the lights in the bed. The bronzer just makes the color more consistent over your whole body. That has been my findings in my years of tanning. I'm Italian though so I have a good base to start from. I'm sure Atomic Meltdown contains these types of bronzers and not the ones that most people associate with that orange fake tan look.

initially they ordered first, but left us with a very limited quantity to offer to NP, which they took.

good to hear, although if it was a limited time exclusive i'd still have gotten it from bb.com (don't tell sam) but if you got it at nutra, save one for me :)

when is the earliest one could obtain a bottle of this Atomic Meltdown. My wife and I are extremely eager to try it out.
