10/22/2010 Workout Notes

Workout

Hit legs last night, felt much better on squats using adequate weight to both get the job done and not strain my back... Also used heavier weight on most every exercise done this time around.

Squats- 10x135, 10x155, 9x155
Hamstring curl- 10x155, 10x195, 10x225, 9x225
Standing Calf raises- 10x225, 10x285, 10x285
Quad extensions- 10x55, 10x70, 10x100, 10x115


Workout Notes:

Trying to get higher on squats as fast as possible is not my thing anymore... One my knee has always been trashed from a pretty bad snowboarding injury.... Which I reinjured snowboarding again before it was even fully healed (hey it was close to the end of the season and I still had free passes! Lol).. Now when I squat it sound like popcorn n I really can't go higher then sets of 10reps with more then 225 even when my muscles allow much more my knee won't.... With that said I also tried jumping weight too fast after a break a couple years ago and managed to "pop" a tendon in my lower back and don't want to do that again for sure...

Either way this weight right now works my legs mighty fine n along with direct targeting to individual grips after I can hardly walk out the gym after the above routine... Legs have never bern my strong point weight wise but always look pretty good, especially my calves, which were basically a genetic gift... Given this I use comfortable weight for leg exercises and don't often go chasing higher numbers like I do on some of my other lifts.
 
10/23/10 Daily Observations

Daily Observations:

Weight is still at 185.5lbs, so although didn't see a huge increase through the week, it shows the weight added last weekend wasnt just "food stores", lol, n had the chance to solidify itself as actual weight gains through this week. Still maintaining a caloric deficit and for sure nowhere near my past bulking cals used.

Also bottle started "farting" at me last night and I had to tilt it all to the corner where the pumper stem goes to get the full 10 squirts on my second dose, probably have one or 2 more 10 pump doses is my guess. (as of night 10/22/10) definitely wish the run could have been longer as its an awesome setup, really wish I could have given a more thorough 4 week assessment that just can't be made in this amount of time.... Possibilities like having sudden increase in gains weeks 3 and 4 are very common for both these compounds alone, although they also don't kick in this fast typically so who knows if progress would have began to slow and taper off (although I HIGHLY doubt it).... Once again maybe one of the other testers with a fuller bottle will be able to assess these possibilities but according to what I've seen, felt and gained I would consider this combo in a td solution a huge success and would have to think, given they are both not methylated, that typical td cycles of old rules of thumb could be applied and successful cycles of 6-8 weeks (along with a VERY thorough pct including a SERM) are easily within reason and should allow for fairly maintainable gains since a longer duration of "androgen support" will help the body to become accustomed to the new mass.

If it were my call @ ntbm, I wouldnt change a thing about this setup and manufacture it as is. I would definitely pick this up in the future myself and plan on doing just that to run a longer cycle if it winds up being released, a 2 or 3 bottle (60 dose bottles that is) would make for a tasty 8 week cycle and allow for dose to be increased as the cycle progresses if it starts to slow.... Mmmmmm.

I will be taking pictures and taking measurements tomorrow and it will mark the end of my log, will be continuing my cycle for another 3-4 weeks with boladrol, so if any one would like to follow (not to take any attention from mrsupps.com and ntbm, just sayin) look for that log to commence tomorrow afternoon.

Great log bro, and I completely agree with everything you said about Chlorothoxy. 8 weeks on this with the chance to increase the dose would be sick bulk or cut.:saroll:
 
It's always funny comparing strength #s. I was never able to go nearly that high on lying leg curls (tore the hamstring at 195) but I was doing single leg extensions at 110 this week, and for standing calf raises I need to go close to 400 to feel them. But I still can't squat all that much more, maybe 185 to the ground.
 
Ya I used to do calf raises with much more but def not THAAAAT heavy, somewhere round 350...

It will be interesting if I even go that high later on either as I found I like higher volume over weight for calves last I was working with seated calf exercises @rep ranges around 20 and 30 before that when I was doing standing calf raises, I think with 285....

I really just can't wait to get my bench back up more then any thing...
 
I usually do leg press sled calf work over 500 lbs. I rarely work them, I don't want them to get any bigger till I put more bicep size on.
 
:DI never do calves, and never have, but when you are squatting and pulling 800 + pounds you really don't need to.

Glad you liked it and got results! Like you said a 6-8 week cycle would be pretty fun with this stuff.

So definitely lost some fat on this short run, but most impressive was adding quality mass all around at the same time on a slight caloric deficit.

Again think this could be a huge success, just wish we had the chance to run it longer and ideally think it can be ran twice as long as this testing run.
