PES Presents SELECT!

Damn just got back from Fort Benning and saw that PES released their protein and they were giving out tubs to try! Very sad panda right now.

That is a tragedy. At least it is for sale on Nutra now, get some and join in the enjoyment

So as I was walking out the door this morning a familiar Aus. POST van pulled up in front of my driveway...

My heart started pounding harder, but I was trying to convince myself to not get too excited as my roommate has had a few XMAS deliveries lately.

The old delivery driver gets out and waddles to the back of the van, pulling out a good size box...

Immediately my mind starts racing...

That could fit 6 tubs of Select surely! This has got to be it.

Please.

...

"Michael?"

"Oh my god yes, that's me!"

He gives me a weird look. I try to keep my cool and maintain this facade of calm, for the moment at least.

I notice the label on the box; PES.

"I'll sign for that..." I smile, my hands shaking as I take the little electronic pen and scribble without taking my eyes off the box as he hands it over to me. A ridiculous grin consuming my entire face. I don't even give him a chance to say anything further as soon as the box is in my hands...

"MERRY XMAS!!" I scream as I run inside, yelling to my girlfriend that Santa just dropped off my present for me. Unfortunately though I was already 15+ mins late so my first taste will have to be this afternoon... now that hard choice of deciding which one to crack first.

Another Christmas miracle. Happy days :)

Haha!

The joys of the delivery van when it turns up at your door.

I shall soon welcome back this feeling. :D

If i wanted to sub out the pancake mix what would you recommend?

Jacked to try this, quick and easy cheesecake sounds and looks amazing. Chef Bob strikes again

Just had CNC with SD. Amazed! So far CNC is my favorite flavor alone but this combo takes the cake for sure.

I am addicted to CnC. Not brave enough to mix it

I need to use my other protein powders up, haven't been touched and won't be until expired at this rate lol.

Wait... There is other protein powders?

my package arrived yesterday! so far I've only tried snickerdoodle and for me personally with milk it's a bit too sweet. tried it with water and PB2 (dehydrated peanut butter) and that was nice. Will try out the chocolate later today!

Ok, so I cracked the Snickerdoodle yesterday and all I can say is... OH. MY. GAWWWD.

That is seriously amazing. Mixed it with 8oz of milk and fell in love. I even rushed in to get the Mrs. to sample some and her thoughts were the same!

Which is a good thing because she won't nag me so much when I stock up again next time around haha... ;)

This morning mixed it with a banana, 1/4 cup oats, sprinkle of nutmeg and organic honey. Seriously. Out of this world.

I'm thinking I should crack the CnC tonight and try that solo before going the ol' half and half with snickerdoodle like everyone is raving about! :D

PES Select French Toast

Recipe

1/4 Cup Milk (Around 50g)
½ Scoop PES Select Whey (around 15-16g)
10g Complete Pancake Mix
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
4 Slices Whole Wheat Bread
1 Egg Whites
1 Whole Egg

Directions

Take All Dry and Combine in a large mixing Bowl, Top with your egg, dash of vanilla, and milk and stir until everything is blended up (or you can use a blender) but I use a stand up mixer, and dissolved.

Once your mixture is done, you can simply dunk the bread into the mixture and then toss on a griddle/skillet and cook as many as you want at a time (I did 4 slices)

Very simple and easy to create the French toast, you can also add a ton of things like fresh fruit, pancake syrup, protein pudding and various other things to enhance the flavor or the final product.

I'm curious to know which one is going to be my favourite too!

Seriously if they're all of this quality - which I have no doubt they will be - I may have to keep one of each flavour constantly in stock ;)

I like the Snickerdoodle because to me, it's a very different protein flavour and not something to see/taste every day, unlike choc and CnC.

MyKH3LL is English?

Maybe I am not alone...
