I'd wanted to pick up some Rag Ultra with my last NP order, but they didn't have it yet. I settled for the new Raspberry White Flood - I don't like it.

Thanks man, I try and keep track of every variable....just trying to get my bench back to 295-5....the goal being 300-6 for spring testing though

6 WEEK WRITE UP

Im gonna do a six week from surgery write up and will not post probablly for the next two days or so as i really should study for my organic test and need to do a lab report.

So i have been off cructhes now for about 3 weeks or so and its been great. my confidence in my leg has grown everyday and walking is getting better and more fluid every day. However i still dont have a hundred percent flexion or extension yet. Also if i go hard on the bike and my excercises my low hamstrings get ridicolousy sore....obviouslly i am light years away from playing shape.

My lifts went down a ton with losing 35 pounds and are rebounding decently....my bench is a lot less than i would like it to be, but my arms are growing nicely and im putting on weight.....hopefully not to much and too quickly. I was 219 about two and half weeks out from surgery and am now back to about 228....

Today, i will be starting the eliptical and we shall see how that goes. I really wana be able to start jogging at the 10 week mark. I meet with the doc at the 8 1/2 week mark and he has to see an improvement in quad muscle before i can run.

My doctor has been absolutly awesome. Great guy and he really cares and is just great. My PT's though suck here at school. They are miserable, unresposnive and way to conservative. yes i know you need to be cautious but with them i would not be playing ball for about 6 years. How can i take advice from pencil necked geeks...My PT's back home are awesome and i am going home this weekend and gonna be able to work with them Monday and Wednsday. I am gonna get graston from them and hopefully they can break up a bunch of the scarring. My PT's here dont even know what graston is!!

Over the next three weeks i really need to get muscle in my leg and especially my hamstring. It gets so sore so fast and is so weak.....and when that happens pulls happen. I need a really strong hamstring. I also wana keep increasing all my numbers....cant wait to go home to work with my PT over thanksgiving and then Xmas break!!

THE RAG
The rag so far has been awesome. Great pumps and vascularity and a bit of a drive. However not perfect as ive gotten some crashing hours after, but i dont really care. If i get through my lift and my appetite is unaffected ill man up and deal with it. Thats in comparison to products like NO shotgun that made me wana barf for about five hours after.....This product is the best overall, but i dont think any product matches straight l-arginine pills for pump or RPM for mental focus....Great product.....heres the list thus far.

I appreciate you including the pros with the cons. I wouldn't touch the majority of products on that list - they're bellyaches and headaches in a bottle. But the Rag sample I got I thoroughly enjoyed, not so much for the pump as I consider that really unimportant, but very much for the energy, taste and creatine.

Yeh i hate it so much when people say products are the greatest thing since sliced bread just because they got it for free. This overall the best ive taken yet though.

And Im also thinking this Rag is up there on pre w/o drinks.

I havent noticed much of a crash, then again, Im lifting later between 5 and 7. Im generally shot/tired after a lift anyways. Id try to lift in the morning, but thatas disaster waiting to happen lol

Day 42 Day 12 PT

All i did yesterday was Pt, was super busy and had nite class and it was a good idea as i felt pretty decent today. I still dont like PT and im really happy to go home next week and work with my PT. I did add the eliptical yesterday which was nice.

Day 43 Day 11 PT, Bis, Abs, Eliptical 228.7

The weight was back up today after not really eating all that much. My upper body is starting to look good, but my abs are accumulating some softness, but whatevs. Today should have been a bad lfit but it wasnt. I went to bed at 10:30 but didnt fall asleep til about two and just felt like crap when i woke up for lab at 6:30.

I was feeling pretty tired all day and my appetite was a little affected, but i took the Rag right after lunch at about twelve and was prepped for my lift. I felt real good and had a decent pump. My energed started to die a little but i just kept pushing....a good lift.

I still do get some crashing though....its like a weird dizzy sinus pressure thingy...i dunno if that makes much sense, but thats what happens. I did my lift chugged a shake, did a little abs and then started on the eliptical. I got the heart rate over 170...did fifteen minutes and burned 206 cal. Not bad for a frist day of hitting it hard on the eliptical. I then did leg press with 180, 190, 200 for a set of 15. The weight became quite hard and i got a real bad case of the quakes. Then did 3 sets of calves at 170-15. Did the usual curls, 4 way and TKE on the machine. I started doing the 4 way with my good leg today to and did 3 sets of 15 with 50. I then strecthed my knee, hip, hammys, ankle and calf and then iced and let it sag for ten.

Day 44 Day 12 Legs, Neck 228.8

Woke up this morning in America, beautiful day and my first class was cancelled! Great Day!! Had a big breakfast, lunch was a bit skimpy so i went to TGIF and had a turkey burger and small salad....took my Rag and went to the gym at about fiveish. This stuff has been great...went to the gym and just went hard on physical therapy for about an hour and a half never stopping. I may take tommorow off from weights on the legs as there getting tired....well see, but i will do abs.

Lately ive been hella busy with a stupid organic chem lab and work so i havent posted a ton of specifics. My deit is still real good. I may add in some more oatmeal to breakfast in addition to my egss and stuff as I start doing more. My weight has stayed realtivly constant so ill be monitering intake. Still need to gain fifteen more pounds. Ive been taken my basic multi, ZMA, glucosamine/ cissus/chondroiton/ MSM every day and my two 44 g shakes with 5 g of glut and crea each and one with some gatorade mix for postworkout

The knee is still getting better. Swelling is going down but its still a problem and my whole shin blows up during the day. Ive been making a big effort to also keep up with strecthing and doing it every nite....especially the calves, achilles and ankles. (also using the stick) Im excited to go home and be able to focus more on my body and keeping it healthy.

Ive been getting tired of the bodybuilding workouts and only lifting really three days a week but what can I do.

My good knee has been bothering me a bit in the pateller region from doing a lot with it so ive been icing it to. Did not ice today as the trainer was closed with a basketball tourney, but should have. Good workout....the lunges are getting so much better and feel better. The 4 way hip with both legs took me forever thats 8 excercises times 3 sets each times fifteen....... Good day though. We shall see how I feel tommorow.
 
im majoring in bio..and doing secondary ed so i may teach...go to pa school, pt school or med school......

i have no idea yet pro teach and coach tho. keeping the options open
 
yeah i wanted to do research as an undergrad and got offered a job by JJ, but with training for football and stuff i couldnt do that over the summer or anything at school.
 
Day 45 Day 13 W 229+ PT

Went to the gym today back at home and just did some PT. I went on the eliptical for 15 minutes and burned like 227 cals and went on a spinning bike for 10. I really dont like the spin bike but there the only bikes with foot straps. Just kinda sucks cuz u dont know how hard ure working and i left my heart rate moniter watch at school. After that stuff i did some leg press, calves, lunges and single leg rdls. Today was the first time i did the free weight leg press and I only did like 90 pounds....haha wow. Its a weird angle and im not trying to do anything the PT says not to do. I wanted to give the hammy a break so i didnt do leg curls or anything like that.

We also dont have a four weay hip at my powerhouse and some other stuff so ill have to make due i guess. Its great to be home though.

I took the rag today before the worjkout and I dunno, i just wasnt feeling it today. I was tired and I dont really know why...i slept a lot. Who knows, back, abs and PT again tommorow......long day.
 
Day 46 Day 14 Back, Abs, PT

Today was a long day. Woke up ate breakfast...took the rag and went o the gym to do back. It wasnt a great workout...felt like i didnt have a ton of strength and especially grip strength. My pull ups were really bad to and I dont know why.

After back I came home ate lunch and then went back and PT and abs.

Decent stuff today. the second session today was much better. ive been getting a bit of pain in my knee cap doing leg press but its been good. I didnt feel much from the rag today and didnt get a good pump. I hope i consumed enough today as i did a lot and burned a ton of calories....
 
How much longer will you be doing PT? any set time or just until youre feeling good?
 
ussually 5 1/2 to 6 months of PT until i can run routes again and have 100 percent back in my knee and leg.....
 
Day 47 Day 15

PT at home added some squats and single leg leg press. So much more helpful than at school. Said i need to work on strecthing my knee. Nothing special today tho. Also just dont ha ve a lot of strength in the knee
 
Day 48 Day 16 Chest, Tris, Shoulders, Abs, PT 229-230

Went to the gym today at about 2:45 and didnt get done til like 6:00. Did my lift and then my eliptical and PT back to back which was long. I took the rag before and dint feel it at all. Its like the pump and effect are wearing off. I was trying to figure simply by volume how that little scoop could even have what it needs. like 5 grams of creatine would almost fill it and then arginine is even less dense....So i dunno. Maybe i was just feeling a caffeine rush at first because i dont ever have caffeine and now maybe im used to it?

But i didnt feel a pump today at all with my chest workout....kinda sucked. Was a decent workout. Had to do the incline on a smith because we dont have a 30 degree incline at my home gym. My weights are still down and im real bummed about that. I didnt do the bike after the eliptical but burned 355 on the elip in twenty minutes. The bikes there suck and the spinning room was closed.

The PT was good today tho. strecthed my knee a lot, but my left knee is starting to hurt which is my good one above my knee cap. My lunges today were better and i did some squats and single leg leg press with both legs.

I really dont know where my weight is at. our scale here sucks and i dont really know how much im consuming. Im eating well, but i dunno if enough.

I hate bodybuilding cuz im always worried one thing will screw up another. Like i stopped the high raise because my bis were getting fatigued and i didnt want it to screw up tommorows workout.....soooo stupid.

I then did my regular pt stuff for like an hour....ate....and the did a little ab circuit. I need to do neck tommorow as i havent done it in a while. Hopefully even tho the workout wasnt great i made growth and am moving towards where i need to go.....

Dissappointed with the rag lately tho

RagNOrok Ultra doesn't have 5g of creatine....so that could be where you're missing your assessment...lol. The old version had 4.5g and RagNOrok Ultra has only 3.5g so that it is more easily stackable with mono or another creatine product that people enjoy like Cre-02 or Neovar.

I stand by our product's 110% and MST would never put something on a shelf that wasn't exactly what it was said to be.

yeh i said that kinda wrong...i know it doesnt have 5 grams....thats just my normal dose and i was comparing the volume. Ussually what i make for my homemade NO supp wouldnt even fit in two of the scoopers is what im saying.

I was just speaking of the volume of the one scoop and how much goodies could it actually contain.....I may up the dose to two scoops today. What ya think of that?

Pretty good day yesterday...took a scoop and a half of the RAG and had a decent pump....nothing crazy but felt full. However later in teh night i had a wicked headache as a result. My numbers went up a bit and so did the weight.

I did PT in the morning and added in moster walks and lateral moster walks. The pt did graston on my hammy but didnt feel any scarring which is weird.....

Day 50 Day 18

Im not lifting today or doing PT as my knee is actaully feeling pretty crappy. I dunno why...i have been strecthing it alot tho. I dunno if im going to take the rag today. I forgot until like five and i wana sleep tonite.....i dont think ill take it.
 
Day 50 Day 18 230 PT

I had a pretty bad stomache ache all day today and i dont know why. I took the rag before PT with a protein shake and felt like i was gonna puke the whole time. I also have been feeling pretty light headed all day and i dont know why...like im gonna pass out. However it was a real good day adn a long day...did 25 min on the eliptical and then all the leg stuff and then abs. I think im gonna do the rehab every other day maybe as my legs are getting sore....i dunno though.
 
Day 50 Day 19 232 Back, Neck

I ussually do back tommorow but did it today becasue my girlfriend is cominfg down and i really wana spend some time with her. I will do Pt tommorow morn earl. This did create some problems as i did bis on wed and i had absolutly no grip strength for the pull ups and my bis were fatigueing fast.....They had a sick pump though. I took a scoop and a quarter and got a pretty solid pump today. That makes sense as teh basic dose is a scoop and im over 230lbs

My pull ups have sucked latley as my bar at home is so so skinny and i have no grip on it at all. It was a good workout though. Just did some bodybuilding back 5 mins on the bike some stretching and neck.

I did no PT stuff today aside from strecthing my knee as my good hamstring is hella sore and i aint trying to pull ANYTHING. Tommorow morning i will do PT. I weuighed in real bloated today and am up a good 13 pounds since like i could start lifting again. I always weigh in bloated though to stop variability.

For my back workout I raised the reps back up to fifteen after two weeks of eight reps. Good workout though, just boring kinda.

My biceps were killing me the whole time...so pumped and fatigued and my grip sucked. Not bad tho. Had one minute and thirty second breaks.
 
Day 51-52 day 20-21

its finals season!! so posting wil be a bit more sporadic. Sunday i did all my physical therapy stuff in the morning and then yesterday i went to PT and then did abs at nite time which went pretty well.

Ive been taking a scoop and a quarter of the rag but im still getting like the headache and sinues pressure like three hours after taking it. Im doing chest today so we shall see how the pump is holding up. Energy has been good though and the weight is up. I weighed in at 231+ last nite after dinner which was good. Two weeks from tommorow i should be a ble to start jogging. I meet with the doc next tuesday morning.

Ive been constantly increasing my weights on leg stuff and getting stronger. My right calf is still alot smaller than my left but i think its getting there. We will see where strength is at today as its a big lift day followed by some PT perhaps. I dunno gotta a lot of studying to take carer of to and work that i dont really wana do.

Good 50 days so far tho out of surgery. Getting better every single day and getting closer to being in shape again every day.

Today was an awesome workout. Not in the sense of big numbers but huge increases like 205-4 2 weeks ago to 225-7 today. Also huge pump. Weight was also real good and i looked good.

Was at the gym for basically forever. Did the whole workout...chugged a protein shake and then did the little PT. Went relativly light and didnt do to to much. Circuited the front raises and pullovers. Pushed it real hard and just felt like i had a little extra push today which was awesome.....just great. Think i made some progress on the knee strecthing to which is always good. Tommorow will be Pt and abs and the next day is bis and PT. Great day today tho.....really pushed it.

Thanks man. Im just trying to get back and make some noise....I will post measurements somtime this weekend but in like 6 weeks...my legs have grown 4+ inches, the bis .5 inches, the calves an inch and ive gained like thirteen pounds or so. My left leg is however 27.25 inches while my right one is 26.25

Day 54 Pt

Went to Pt and actaully added some stuff to the mix. Added in lateral hops with a band going forward and back and walk outs forward and back with a band. Also added 15 lb dbs to lunges and rdls.

Day 55 Biceps, Abs 232.0

Pretty solid workout today even though i was super tired from only getting four hours of sleep. for what ever reason i can never seem to sleep wed nites before lab...i dunno why. Good workout tho lacked some intensity and had a slower pace than i would have liked.

Day 56 PT

Still kinda tired...feel alseep in two of my three classes today. Did the eliptical today for ten hard went on the bike for eight and then back on the eliptical for five. My legs were pretty fatigued. I did all the same excercises as normal and felt good. I however did not do leg curls as my bad hamstring was kinda sore going into strecthing before the workout.

i foam rolled today before doing anything and strecthed, but did not ice after everything. Again my pace wasnt as fast as i would have liked today. Maybe because im tired and my headphones broke......Ill prob do the weighted rdls and leg curls tommorow that i did not do today and the eliptical and stuff. Ive been adding weight to my excercises to and getting stronger

my overall weight just keeps going up and today isnt any different....my girlfriend says im looking great and my abs are looking awesome. i just gotta keep killing it and ill be back to 100% soon. My knee is def not as good as i though it was tho. I lightly bumped my shin into the leg press today and immediatly thought i hurt it as it hurt...prob the menisucs swelling. Just real scarey.

im still happy with the rag tho...doing very well and seeing some nice vascularity....will prob pick some up.....just to bad i have a full container of no xplode....damn!! I gotta make some money over x mas break so i can buy some stuff...

I'm glad to see you plan to stick with Rok Ultra after the log...and I totally get that you have finals and need to focus on your schooling. Great log either way bud.
 
Yeah thanks man, its relativly detailed, but i ussually do much more. Great product though and great price at nutraplanet. Today im just gonna do some eliptical and abs....nothing crazy. I feel like im looking the best ive looked and getting big....Just gotta keep hitting it hard every day and hit my goals. After the log is over ill post a reveiw and keep my offseason log going....I got some p slin, 1-t, anabolic pump and some more stuff......
 
Day 57 Day 26 PT

last nite i just did some pt and hamstring work i missed the day before. I get real bored on machines so i did the elip for five, bike for five, stair for five, bike for five and elip for five. My legs are starting to get pretty burnt out...may just do some bike and strecthing today. I wound up not doing abs last nite but will do them today. I didnt get a whole lot fo sleep last nite because of inconsiderate people so im pretty freaking tired. I need to go to bed early tonite.....
 
Did back and some abs today and after pull ups, t bar and some other stuff i had the sickest pump of my entire life....yes i said it. Best vascularity ive ever had.

I didnt eat lunch today as the line was redicolous. Gonna eat another dinner tho to make up. Weighed in light today 231.1 because of it.

I think im really liking the split im doing and may keep it up for a long time...Tues Chest/tris/shoulders, Thurs Bis,forearms, Sunday Back. My forearms and bis are always kinda shot on sundays but its not so bad, just kills my numbers on pull ups and my grip.

I will type the whole lift up later....dont have my log on me and really need to do some of that whole studying thing....Real happy with the pump tho!!!!!

I told a bunch of guys on the team about this stuff. Hope u guys will get some more orders.

Hey good luck man. I had the privelege of tearing my acl and meniscus in 2 places the first game of my high school senior season this year playing mike linebacker...it sucked to say the least. I had it scoped to clean up the tears and actually got to play the last 5 games of the year but not at the level I was accustomed. I had surgery 3 weeks ago so I'm a little behind you. Once again good luck bro and dont have too much fun with those painkillers.lol

wow dude, i dunno how u played after. I couldnt walk for two weeks after doing mine and my leg shriveled away to nothing before surgery. What kind of graft did you use? I used the hamstring.....

Good luck tho man. The first week is hell but after that it gets better and better every day.

Im gonna keep a log going until next season regarding my rehab and stuff if ya wana look.
 
Day 59 Day 28 PT

Went to Pt today and had a secent day. Moved the weight up on lunges to 20lb dbs and for the single leg rdls. Also added in some liner ladder which didnt feel great but was nice to do......getting there everyday. Gonna see the doc tommorw...BIG DAY.

Still taking the rag and getting good energy. Doing chest, tris and shoulders tommorow. My left (good) knee has been bothering me a bunch since hurting my knee. Like pateller tendonites from squating to take a crap with one leg i think. Feel pretty bad...hope it doesnt get worse.

Solid Day though. Gonna hit up ladderrs and the "cardio" stuff tommorow for a good amount of time and see where my weight is at during the week......

Man it sucks when it happens but I could walk (very painfully) that night. I broke my knee cap on the same knee I had my acl tear and the pain doesnt compare but that feeling of instability is horrible. But Once they went in and fixed my meniscus and shaved my acl I had rehab for four weeks, passed a strength test, got a custom acl brace and played. I was a pulling guard on offense and middle backer before the tear and it limited my mobility enough to were I had to move to center and defensive end. I couldnt tackle all that well going to my left and my ability to blow people off the ball was gone but it was good enough to play on. My Dr. used a piece of tendon from my patella but I've heard using a cadavers is an easier rehab but idk for sure... Im going to keep up with your log for sure man.

The cadaver is def a much easier and quicker rehab, yet it is not nearly as strong as a patelleor or hamstring graft....and also has infection risks and other complications.


Today was a long day....did my chest/tris and shoulders and then ate and then did eliptical and some rehab and abs. Super long day. My mind wasnt that into the chest workout and i wasnt that focused tho. However, in the last four weeks ive gone up about 5% on inlcine which is a real nice jump. Strength is still getting up from the muscle memory. Slow and steady wins the race tho.

I met with the doc today and he said my knee feels great but he never lets people run until twelve weeks because the graft has not fully fused.....damn. he said to hit the eliptical super hard and i did today. 4.32 miles in like 30 mins....almost 500 cals. he also said i can squat and deadlift so today i sqauted on the smith machine....Got up to 155-10...whoooooo!! haha only 350 more to go.....

My left good tendon above my knee has been bothering me a lot and has been really get faituged and annoying at nite. Im gonna ask my trainer about it tommorow. Prob just needs some ice....overuse prob. I weighed in today at 232.0 which isnt great but is okay. not bad

Now that the doc has cleared me to squat and deadlift im gonna throw legs into the mix as an actuall workout!!!

Normally i would not do it this way, but...

Monday- Squats in the smith and secondaries

Wed- Lunges and Leg press and secondaries

Friday- Deadlift and and secondaries

Prob only gonna do leg curls monday and friday. My hamstring still isnt in its full range of motion and i have no strength past ninety....Any excercise to work on that guys????

Everyday im gonna do at least 30 mins of eliptical except sundays ill take off. Gonna keep working on quad flexibility and quad strength to as i feel like my quad would just give out sometimes. Like my mind is not connected to my quad yet.....
