Ditched the gs4. Getting the Nokia lumia 1020 on Friday hopefully. Those freaking AMOLED screens are gorgeous

I don't. I just think their tech has moved at a snail pace compared to the rest of the market. Goose Samsung commercials about the i5 are pretty accurate: oh look they put the headphone jack on the bottom! Wow...

The 1020 has a fcking 41 MP camera. I mean damn. And android is completely customizable. And windows 8 is awesome, just hasn't received enough press or following as the others

Plus that whole Foxcom thing pisses me off pretty bad. I mean mofos are dying because they work too long! How does that even happen in this day and time. Nets btwn dorm buildings because suicide jumpers were so common they needed to perform ORM to control the situation and the best they could come up with we're fcking NETS! Human rights wtf...

Then a gunny ripped me apart for wearing a green tshirt in the exchange. I made the mistake of sayin I'm a coastie..

How many NJPs you get. Hahaha

I am very happy to have served as well. Boot camp sucked balls, but I can't help but laugh hard at some of the shyt that went down. Being and e1-e3 sucked huge balls, working parties all the time, duty, post, deployments as a boot suck. E4 was great, NCO status, get shyt done and slay motherfkrs like you were a gawd. Then e5 when I got forced out: cockskrs didn't even let me enjoy the privileges of a Sgt. Being a grunt was the greatest feeling on earth and I miss it dearly. I don't miss 0400 wake ups, firewatch, field days, morning pt or forced marches, or officers on a power trip. Someone recently told me I have a 94 afqt, could've done anything in the military but I wanted to be a grunt and don't regret it at all
 
And true to form, New Mexico rain comes at the end of summer in torrential bursts that cause flash flooding...

Yeah, I got a 98 and did the same. Although, I did spend a lot of time wishing I took the nuclear tech job the navy recruiter offered me!

They're in for good now. I should probably throw in some periodized front squats after though. Dude I held my breath for every set of 3. Felt like my eyes were gonna pop outta my fckn head at 655. Next week I'll try and go up to 765... Hrmm
 
That's too high to be at parallel (duh) but I'm still a big fan of overloaded partial movements. They work for me, in rotation at the right time it seems anyway, and lots of guys seem to get a benefit from lifting more than they will in the full range.

First time I held 585 on a rackpull I almost passed out at the top cuz I had to grind for so long - make sure you breathe between each rep brohemoth!
 
Half rep pin squats for overload training and breathing is for bytches ... :)

I've read way too many articles where people say don't do them and plenty that do agree with them. It removes ssc and improves starting strength and force

My buddy loves the vibrams like Jim. Can't argue with em really, I just hate how they feel/look on me.

The chucks have been sick under the bar, & no complaints pulling - but I also pulled really well in my old pumas, they were really thin-soled. I don't really care tho, I always pull in shoe in training as a handicap & then pull in my socks when I go for a new PR.

If I go to compete ever I'll just order some Titan booties for like $15 when I go to get new wrist wraps.

Shyt, I wore long wool socks on Friday for deadlifts. Couldn't find any of my other long ones so pulled them long winter socks outta the closet...

My NBs are vibram soles. They are very dense and stick like a mofo. The shoes themselves have mesh lining throughout for when you run through a stream here and there so they breathe very well. Also they were designed to be worn sockless so the lining is very minimal, soft to touch and naturally form to your specific foot

Well they're better than not. There are a handful of really good econ oly shoes out there but i hate the idea of buying them online, wouldn't want the wait time to replace if I find out they fit like shyt. Still looking for them Tron Pendlays myself...
