MyoT12- myostatin modulator??

While the graph displayed looks reasonably promising, I am skeptical for a couple reasons. First, they show no repeated dosing and the effect of this. If the data in the graph are correct, dosing would need to occur every ~12 hours in order to maintain decreased levels of myostatin and, when you factor in cost to do this of roughly $7/day (just a quick calculation, could be off slightly), that is pretty damn expensive. Second, there is no mention that I could find of how many test people these data were derived from. Basically, I am still quite skeptical that the cost/benefit ratio of this product is worthwhile.

I think the chart came from the 10 test subjects... If u look at one if my earlier posts o sum up Cokers MD column.

Think of what it costs to run a gear cycle + PCT + chance of sides + ? health issues... This product doesn't seem to be too bad but will it work is big ?

I think this product is bunk.
Pharmacuetical companies are racing to be the first company to finalize production of myostatin inhibition.
and a supplement company beat them too it?

through gene therapy, and as of right now, they can turn off production, but cant turn it back on, which can be a problem.

so as of now, the only way your gonna get myostatin inhibition is to be born with it like the "myostatin baby"

wanna get big? eat good, train hard, and add in aas to top it off.

No the container is not empty. I am still on the first container. My complaint is that the container will be empty within a week for sure. If I wasn't clear than I apologize. If you read the latest research on myostatin inhibition in MD mag it says that there was a study with actual myostatin drugs for a length of time and muscle mass did not increase. the only thing that did increase was heart size. in october issue of MD magazine page 124 it says myostatin did have a positive influence on physical performance but muscle mass did not increase. Also I saw in earlier posts about someone saying that I could be a rep for the company or a company, well I am not. I am a state law enforcement officer on a quest to build as much muscle as possible legally. I used to compete as a national level bodybuilder up until 1999. As far as shows that meant anything I did the 1997 Teenage Nationals in Ovens Auditorium Charlotte ,North Carolina and I won the middleweights. In 1999 I did Jr.USA as a lightheavyweight. I have been training constatly since that show and for the past 7 months I have had the desire to walk onstage again by next summer.

if it does kick in, it will be in a week, so run what you have left and get back to us. maybe nothing will happen though.

the flaws in myostatin as we know it, is with regards to the belgian blue bull (the one that's totally jacked). it has no myostatin at all. not taking our levels from 15mg/dl or whatever the numbers are down to 8mg/dl. maybe getting it down to 0mg/dl is the only way to see growth NOW, but 8mg/dl will see results in 3-4 weeks. this is why i'm so skeptical about this compound. maybe 8mg/dl isn't enough to do anything. maybe having more than 6mg/dl does nothing, so whether the number is 8 or 10 or even 15, no effects will be noted.

any scientists know anything about this beastie?

we reference MD cause Coker writes a column each month in the mag and this is where he discussed the product.

Yes I mean I understand why people are giving info from it, but some seem to be saying "look at all this great info!" and acting like there is no bias in it. Maybe not that's just how it seemed when I read the thread last night late.

He has a financial interest in reporting things and making a story about him having the secret formula.

Did we ever say if the study was published AND peer reviewed?

Going to agree with this statement.

There are prior studies on it as well. But primarily they look at serum myostatin levels and to me thats about as useful as blood ph changes. Tell me about body composition change over 8 weeks.

I may sound ignorant here, but until I actually start to hear about guys gaining muscle off this, I take what companies say with a grain of salt concerning these type of product. I even question the safety of them. I still remember the supp that Biotest and cytodyne came out with that did jack ****. No way would I spend my $$$ on this.

there isn't a line. just a scoop like a protein powder normally has.

.....
If this were to provide minimal benefits, 12 days could not possibly do it any justice.
I believe that it is probably bunk but that test run was poor, at best though not your fault as it is expensive.

Anyone running this must be prepared for a longer period. Just from research, I would estimate 6-8 weeks.
.

I really don't see how it would take awhile to work or to notice results. in a couple of weeks there has to be some sort of positive influence you would notice on your body. I feel that I jumped the gun and going ahead and buying it the first time. I have always been told if something sounds too good to be true then it probaly is.

So...how long does a bottle/jar/whatever last?

From the only person that appears to have bought this, about 3 weeks.

$33 a week???

Damn..... and people want to wait for it to do it's thing in 4-8 weeks?

I don't have that kinda money to blow. You are looking at a MINUMUM 200 investment in something that.....could not do a thing.

I don't have a link but I know there was a study done (albeit in rats/mice) that showed lowering myostatin by 60% or less induced no effects whatsoever after 3 months. Greater than 60% yielded some gains in muscle mass and a 95% decrease in myo showed muscle mass gains of nearly 25%. These were adult mice.

It was discussed on an episode of SuperHuman Radio where you can hear the scientist who performed the study discuss the results. It is episode number 347 entitled "Why Myostatin Inhibiting Supplements and Drugs Don't Often Work." Its very interesting and can be found in the iTunes store for free.

is this free???? i mgiht donwload some of this dstufff to my ipod later today i did not know they have such thing on itunes, can u give me direction on how to get to this section? or just type ijn search>

On the left side under "Store" click "iTunes Store" and then when it loads up you can either browse and find it in the Health section of Podcasts, or just do a search for "SuperHuman Radio"

TSK...tsk...tsk...your humor is a little off today.

I just threw out my back for the first time in over 4 years and almost dropped the 450 pounds off of my back...yeah, I'm a little off.

damn Army injury.

/not even a chuckle for it? a guffaw? a snicker?

i guess u can just throw this into a blender with some HSP from MT and you pretty much don't have to lift a pound. just sit on the couch and grow i guess. :(

Jeez, now I feel bad. Hope you're ok dude. I promise I will laugh at your next joke no matter how silly it is.

I think I'll wait for the AAV1 follistatin-344 injection to become available.

Damnn dude.. I've been reading up on that AAV1 follistatin-344 you mentioned; seems like some pretty badass stuff..

Any idea when it'll be available on the market? I gotta get my hands on some of that!

Cheers

wow, $100 to TRY something new.. That's the beauty of AM - the manufacturers on here actually let us test their products out for real life feedback...

Yea I don't think he really got it either and now it seems you can't even get this supplement. really makes you wonder if it could do what it claimed.

yup: "Sorry but this item is no longer available." on the website that offered it... it must be back to the ol' drawing board :)
