Mr.Cooper69, Patented Anabolic, and Bulk Season!

So gym has been closed past 3 days + exams. I will FINALLY be getting an opportunity to train in a bit, today. Overall, the main things I'm noticing is appetite increase (hence, anabolic hehe), improved vascularity and vivid dreams (the latter may just be due to deeper sleep...or getting sleep period).

I loved your gym when we trained there besides the huge amount of bro's that looked at us funny when we did weighted dips with 45 pound plates around our waist and actually deadlifted on deadlift platform and squatted in a squat rack.. LOL
 
To be fair. I would have looked at you funny as well if you were only using the 45lb plates for dips. ;)

Yeah sorry dude, this week has been hell. This is one reason why I wanted to comment on the effects of the ingredient alone, as a consistent gym schedule is damn near impossible to maintain these days.

Brah, you really are out of it. I graduated last year, I've been in med school in philly! The PSU gym was legit as hell...like 24 benches, 12 squat racks, every weight/exercise you could name. My new gym BLOWS.


So I went and trained today. Got some numbers too.

Effects:

Some of you guys ate an insane surplus of calories for Thanksgiving. I ate that same absurd surplus every day for a week up to and including Thanksgiving. Mostly sedentary, little to no sleep, junk food and eating twice as much as normal due to the fact that I was awake both night and day. So needless to say, I was shocked when my bodyweight was exactly the same as when I started this log when I checked it on the scale after training today. Strength was about even, which is perfectly fine considering I haven't been able to consistently lift in some time. So needless to say, I am pretty astounded and impressed by the fact that a week of what many would consider a body composition nightmare had minimal effects. I definitely feel a layer of fat developing over my lower abs, but overall, I do feel the damage would be worse without patented anabolic, which is pretty much the only non-staple I'm using right now. Good stuff so far.

Oddly enough, I did not get the thermogenic effect while lifting today. But the vascularity was there...and absurd. I think my vascularity is actually increasing despite what appears to be a slight gain in bodyfat.

It's all good amigo. I know how it goes with school. My best friend is doing his phd in medicinal chemistry and I never hear from him or it'll be at weird ass times. Kinda works since he's in the east and in on the left coast.

Nice update though, it's nice when people are so in tune with their body they can tell differences even when NOT having a consistent schedule. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hah, yeah I typically sign on at 2 AM EST. And I appreciate the opportunity dude, so far I actually do notice what are potentially changes to body composition/mirror-feel...something I cannot say for 99% of supplements out there.

What med school are you attending? 4-6 years?

All med schools are 4 years to residency, at which point I may be cooped up for another eternity if I choose to go into something like surgery.

Effects (11/24/2012):

Today I took PA preworkout with EC stack. Holy cow, this stuff really seemed to potentiate the bronchodilation that I'm accustomed to getting from EC. Breathing had never felt so easy. The workout was legs day, fasted with no BCAAs or such. Vascularity is much improved, and now I have a new effect to report: the vascularity has spread to my genital region. Seriously though, the boners have been rampant the past 2 days...so much so that I can now comfortably rule them out as a random bout of sexual tension. I don't feel any hornier or anything, so I'm guessing that the vasodilation effect of this compound is very really and may be related to PDE5?

Med School is no joke just like my brother went through pharm school. its a very very tough path and you will bust your ass to get a future job well worth your time. Keep grinding Coop.

Yeah my sister is in pharm school and her work does look tough...although I help her out with ease :D. I probably will be limited to the east side of PA for the better part of 6 years, so it's up to you to come get me. I'll try to make the Arnold though!

Oh yeah that first year is rough. I think the hardest part is getting used to the speed and amount of material.

School you might be and overstatement honestly. Lol there's knowledge in my brain it's just putting it all together. I expect it to start sticking better once I'm using it a lot in practice my last year.

Love the choice I made doing it. Love my class and overall it's not too bad (and by that I mean I'm used to being stressed 24/7) It's funny when you go on breaks you realize how out of control the stress really is on you.

Carry on with the anabolicness.

I thought so. I initially started leaning out at my normal lean bulk intake. The thermo effect hasn't felt as strong as of late, but vascularity continues to improve. And boners are good.

I actually have to agree with this to a T. The thermogenic effect was very pronounced initially, so much so that it altered the course of my workouts (had to slow down due to insane amounts of sweating). Now it's still there, but it's milder, which is honestly a welcome change.

11/26/12 - Upper Body - New effects


-It's been quite a few nights in a row now with exceedingly vivid dreams. May be random, or may be related.
-Nocturnal emissions have increased, indicating that this product may not just be pro-erectile but also pro-libido
-Strength was stagnant this training session for the first time in a while. I paired it with EC stack and a half liter of water.

Old effects -


-Vascularity and pumps continue to be very pronounced, particularly in the forearm region. Despite increased bodyfat, my median cubital veins and basilic veins appear to be more pronounced than ever, even when doing low rep (6-8 rep) work like weighted pullups or bench.
 
Great update coop! How has the quality of sleep been? Any better or worse? I remember you mentioning before you have trouble sleeping.

It's been better. I still have trouble getting to sleep but my dreams are a lot more vivid, I wake up less at night, and I wake up in the AM feeling refreshed. This is VERY multifactorial though.

Today was not a good training session. My numbers were WAY down and I had no clue why considering I had an epic preworkout meal and good sleep too. Happens I guess. Effects-wise, I have no new effects to report, but all the old ones are going full force, namely the vascularity and libido. I'm not noticing the ability to eat anything and not gain fat; I'm definitely gaining fat with the increase in calories, but it seems that my total weight is not as high as I'd think. Vascularity in my thighs was pretty cool despite the increase in fat. More to come tomorrow.

Strength was up for upper body. One new thing I am noticing with PA is that I'm getting more sore from session to session, but that my recovery (ability to maintain strength in back to back sessions) is improved. But the increased soreness has definitely been prominent in my biceps and lats, both of which never get sore.

Glad to hear it went better today. What would you compare the soreness to? Drying out like on EPRO or just breaking down muscle tissue? Could be a good sign of growth if it's the tissue itself. In any case good update coop.

Muscle tissue. I think comparing it to the DOMS from arachidonic acid would be fair.

I've definitely noticed this as well. When do you workout? In the a.m.? I'm curious to the half-life of this product bc I usually take my PA in the morning around 7 or 8, but i've been noticing that when I consume some caffeine in the evening around 5 or 6 that the thermogenic effect is magnified much greater again compared to caffeine + no PA. It's interesting breaking into a sweat in a 70 degree room just sitting at a computer.

As for soreness.... It's nothing like being on DAA or a test booster and having little to no soreness at all the next day or two. Strength is still there even though i'm sore as hell.

AZMIDLYF, Distilled Water - Thanks guys! I highly doubt it's any fatty acid based on the white powder, but I could be wrong.

MonteCedillo - It really does remind me of arachidonic acid in this regard. I'm getting more sore, and in unusual regions, but I'm also gaining strength.

The Solution - It's 2 hours and 15 minutes away if you follow the speed limit (mapquest). I'd kill for some shady maple though. And I haven't seen illa in far too long.


New effect - Is it possible that PA improves muscle glycogen replenishment? I find myself able to increase both volume and training frequency without my usual drops in strength mid-way through the session or between sessions. Even for a bulk, the improved recovery with respect to energy metabolism seems rather noticeable.

Old effects-

Vascularity - persistent and awesome
Thermogenesis - trained fasted this morning and it hit full force. Definitely related to fed vs fasted state
Soreness - still getting extra sore in unusual regions despite a surplus of calories and a standard training protocol.

I'm in complete agreement with you on this effect. I saw improvements with strength endurance and recovery pretty early on and it has continued to get better. At this point, the ability to maintain strength throughout a workout has changed quite a bit. It has also been making physical workdays much easier to get through.
