most important supplement? food and weights
most important music for me: Powerman 5000, Rage Against the Machine etc...

Pretty much every mp3 player out there now is cheap...Hit up walmart or best buy and you can get a good one for under 50 bucks. I don't know if you can get a 1000 songs but if several hundred don't do it for you then you might need to pay out about 100 bucks. I just ended up getting a cell phone that doubles as a mp3 player and it was a free upgrade.

I listen to a lot of music and it all depends on my mood and what i'm doing. It can range from Rap to Rock to metal to techno. It's all good.

Anyone heard of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster? Gets me ready to lift...
That avatar... I'm going to have to rub one out. Dang. Can you send me a link to the full size picture?

RATM
The Prodigy
Tool
Korn
Three Days Grace
System of a Down

These are some of the bands on my playlist now. Of course I gotta change it up every now and then but it never strays too far from that. :head:

Any music thats relatively hard and invokes some emotion...

Currently that is:

It Dies Today
Atreyu (anything but their new album)
Five Finger Death Punch
Destroy The Runner
Bullet For My Valentine
From Autumn To Ashes

....Are all in heavy rotation on the iPood

I would say my favorite workout music is some good ol' fashioned east coast hardcore. I've seen A LOT of good bands listed up in here. But I gotta say, I'm jealous of a lot of you guys because a couple weeks ago my gym BANNED THE USE OF HEADPHONES IN THE WEIGHTROOM!!!! FTW, workouts seem to drag on now with the crappy ass radio music they play. The last thing I want to hear while I'm doing a set of heavy squats is Riana singing about her fukcing umbrella. Has anyone else had this happen at their gym?

i prefer the heaviest $**** out there:
morbid angel
deicide
cannibal corpse
terrorizer
decapitated (rip vitek)
slayer
lately ive been listening to alot of these newer metalcore and deathcore bands like AS BLOOD RUNS BLACK and AS I LAY DYING
metal increases my aggression big time and training wouldn't be the same without it!

I have never heard of a gym doing this EVER, and to think I was pissed because my gym doesnt allow chalk :toofunny:

Lil Jon should not be listened to by anyone while doing anything.

For rockers, I listen to the Blood Brothers and "...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead" aka Trail of Dead.

For hip-hoppers and tin-nockers, I listen to Cassidy, Lil Wayne, and Blackstar (Mos Def and Talib Kweli), with the occasional Lupe Fiasco.

Hatebreed
Slipknot
Limp Bizkit
Rage Against The Machine

lately ive been listening to a lot of Dry Kill Logic in the gym. Makes me wanna go on a rampage- "It's all or nothing... Never surrender, Will you give up will you give in when it all falls away?" gets me pissed.
