Soooo my NYE update.

Yuck. Drank waaaay too much. Got caught up having a blast with my wife and kinda went overboard on consumption. Didn't get crazy or anything but defenitley drank too much.

Diet was pretty crappy as well. I didn't eat any "Junk" per say but since we were travelling I had to do the best with what I had. Couple subways and a breakfast at the hotel. Drank about eight of the large zero calorie Powerades yesterday to get back hydrated as well. Weight went up and im washed out but it was worth it for the time spent with my wife. What is amazing is how MUCH my weight inscreased. I am up almost 8 lbs from before the trip so 212lbs upon waking this morning.

Ill be lowering the carbs a tad the next couple days and adding a few extra minutes to my cardio sessions to eliminate the water bloat and then be back on track or maybe a bit better come the 11th. After almost 20 weeks of cutting with hardly a blip on the radar as far as diet fails, I defenitley learned my lesson about how much a couple bad days can change body comp when so low in BF.

Back on the grind. Chest and shoulders and extra cardio. Lets get rolling boys!

Once the alcohol has cleared your system & you're all hydrated, at least you'll be strong with your mega-carbload in the next few days :dunno:

You look fine, water weight gain only no fat. Just like Snags said back to normal diet and increase water intake. No need for corrective actions unless he suggested some privately.
 
For some terrible reason, I look a lot more cut up when I'm drinking, veins bulging, dense muscles, even the next day too.. weird. Strength is always hard getting back to that first workout of the week. The rest of the week is fine though.
 
refer to the latter, when discussing the former your perception is skewed when you are drunk (obviously)

Lol the little bit of increased bp and slightly diuretic effect always seemed to tighten me up and push the veins up big time, but that's only a few drinks , not to excess.

Lmao that may be excessive man. I'm known to nurse a vodka tonic all night... Not quite a 6er of beer. I drink through a nipple. If I drank too much I was a soggy water buffalo that felt like sh!t

I have heard of like 1 shot pre show though. Idk how true it is , just stating what I've read.
