MK-677

Guys , at 180lbs what daily dose should I be taking, and when is best to dose it?

Ideally less lethary and bloat would be great

Thanks

Body weight really doesn't determine dose at all. Most people start at 10mg and either stay there or increase.

The real question is has anyone in this thread or that anyone knows been on mk for at least a year or more?

I'm about 2-3 weeks shy of 12 months straight right now. I can't say I've noticed anything extraordinary at all. Maybe a slight improvement in skin in the last couple months. It definitely helped me sleep better and deeper for the first while until that wore off (10mg). When I bumped the dose up to 20mg, the sleep improved again. That seems to have worn off sometime in the last couple of months. This is likely just an adaptation to a "state". If I were to bump the dose to 30mg, I am quite confident I would see that boost in sleep quality again.

Since moving to a 5 on/2 off protocol a few months ago, I believe I've seen an improvement in my joints. I don't think 365 days a year supplementation with MK-677 is for everybody, or even wise for that matter. Coincidentally, the improvement in my skin (although modest) started around the same time I changed from everyday dosing to 5 days a week.

The best thing I've noticed about MK-677 is that it is much easier for me to maintain a higher weight over the past year. Even during times where I wasn't able to train because of work or injury. I will also say that gains come on easier on cycle when stacking MK-677 with SARMs or steroids.

Sadly, I'm on my last bottle of OL Gharine and so it looks like my run might be coming to an end. I'm on the hunt to find another bottle to take me threw until the new year. At that point in time, I'm going to cease use. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the first few weeks when I finally come off.

This is great to hear. Would be a huge benefit with the ups and downs one experiences over the year. There's whgich confirm your findings with MK677 reported to have allowed subjects to remain in a state of positive nitrogen balance.

Interesting. Seems at the very least a positive nitrogen balance is the most noticeable outcome for extended periods such as yours.
I have been digging into the background of this compound for 8 months now. I have a great place to get it from, extremely reliable, cost effective, but ehhh im not to sure if its really what I am looking for. Ostarine treated me extremely well over 12 weeks...slight pct put me back at pre-blood work like clock work. Lgd basically same experience. This mk677, I dont know. Ive had a slight "touch" of narcolepsy since age 10 so not to sure if I could deal with the added lethargy.

I experienced no lethargy with this stuff. I always dose ~ 60 min. pre-bed. I also cycle on and off Hup-A pre-bed and in the morning for an added kick (100 mcg per dose). I think I might have experienced lethargy for a day or two in the first week or two of dosing, but if I remember correctly, I attributed it to something else. I also had lethargy once when I jumped the dose to 30. It was very mild and lasted 1/2 a day.

The other detail that I remember is that it was difficut to wake up in the morning for the first month or so. Basically I was just sleeping deeper so would be a bit groggy in the morning. That wore off very quickly after I managed to drag myself out of bed. The Hup-A in the morning gave me a bit of a kick as well.

MK did the opposite to me. Was the most stimulating product I've ever used. Made me feel hyper alert and insomnia. I'm not alone after googling. The article on long acting ghrelin mimetics being brain detrimental makes it clear in that subjects may repond differently to MK as ghrelin does not only stimulates the pituatary gland. I can run it at 6mg without going too ballistic. An increase in GH from doses as low as 5mg (studies) so it may still be worthwhile.

Brain detrimental? What should I google to find this...i just did and I didn't see it?

Ive also seen in the first week, it can increase prolactin & cortisol, is it worth using a mild AI, like BPS Sustain Alpha?

Does anyone know if the IGF-1 increase of MK677 is sufficient enough to outweigh the IGF-1 reducing effect of Nolva etc?

I definitely think it helps. I've been on MK677 for several months and my IGF levels were in the 250's (flagged high by privatemdlabs, reference range is 67-205). When started my latest PCT (Clomid+Nolva), my IGF dipped back into range but stayed near the top end (190s). Have you measured your IGF drops without MK while on Nolva?

Good info!

I just finished up my Nolva PCT a couple days ago and started up MK677 again. It's strange as I'm finding the MK symptoms much more pronounced than last I took it. This is the first time I'm getting the hunger and tingly sensations in my extremeties. Also short bouts of tiredness I'm assuming around the time of GH pulses. I wonder if it has to do with lowered IGF-1 levels from running Nolvadex at 20mg for a month.

Very possible

Good point, you should be able to control the bloat through diet. Alternatively/additionally a daily low dose aspirin is beneficial for some users. You may not experience bloat from MK though. Not everyone does. I haven't noticed any bloat or weight gain from MK.

My bloat varied from brand to brand ??

Increase potassium or take dandelion extract which also has potassium and watch sodium. It will adjust after two weeks or so I've read.

No need to mess with sodium, just keep it where you have had it. Like poster above stated, just increase potassium and/or add an 81mg baby aspirin.
