Man last night sucked.. was up til like 3am trying to figure out how to burn a cd... Being a damn computer geek too... made it unacceptable for me to sleep until I got my wife's netbook figured out... external burner, computer all in Japanese... my god... it was a challenge.. anyway finished it up. BUT, when I think hard... my brain requires carbs... it just does, I cant really do to much "in depth" thinking without a carb fuel source... odd because ketones are supposed to be better I hear. Anyway, with that said... lets just say that there arent many recess peanut butter cups left... At least i know most were burned in my stress (or stored as cortisol fat), because I dont feel hung over like I did the last time.

Motivation is actually at an all time low right now... It's getting even COLDER, I dont even have a goddamn chair, no TV, my computer can barely load movies at home... Meh. Life is just hurtin'. Plus work is getting more demanding as I think since they know Im going home in July they wanna milk me for all im worth lol. Odd really (or they figured out I dont say no...). Im wondering what will get me back on track? Lets hope this gym visit on saturday will do the trick.



A small exercise science programming question..... since I only have weights at home and I do more of a weightlifting movement type full body days, would it be better to do Front squats on squat day? Or on deadlift day? Or on clean day? Squat day would be to burn out legs, deadlift day would be to add more stability to having frontal loading, and clean day would be for the same reason... But I find myself more burned on clean days. because of lowered rest time...

I like full body because I like to hit bodyparts as often as possible but I just use different lifts. Im probably overtrained.. but hey~~ I love the training.

Well, when I finished my cut log I was 190lbs, I'm currently 219lbs, strong as a bull, but obviously not as lean as I was. I'm on Cyanostane, so I've been putting on a lb of water a day it seems since I've been on it.

Sorry your night was bad, sounds like one of my typical fiascoes. I'd said do front squats on squat day. If you do them on dead day, I'd do them after. I've be afraid that the lower back muscles would be too taxed if your did the fronts first.

Yea, it'd be deads -> front squats -> roman deads -> Row

Or, front squats (I like it to get depth on my back squats. For feel) Then back squats power, then back squat reps, then front squat reps. Then Goodmornings, and some one legged squat. hmmm

Take everything one day at time, One visit to the gym at a time, One Squat, Curl, Press...You get the picture.

As far as front squats (and I'm not an expert) I would do them on Dead days!

Keep doing your thing and everything will work out!

No log and no preference on front squats on deads or legs day. When I do front squats on with back squats, I usually do full ROM on front squats and box squats on back squats. Otherwise, I'll do front squats before deads to warm up the core.

Yea. That's what I tend to do for back squats. I usually use dynamic effort deads to get loose. And then do some cleans to warm up. Maybe like 3-4 sets of 1-3 reps for cleans before I stare pulling.

Yeah squats....love'em and hate'em. No other exercise makes you feel as much like you really did something. I miss my old gym where a bucket next to the squat rack was standard equipment. At my chrome plated gym I have to dash the the br after a hard squat routine to chuck it
If you just don't make it to the bathroom once or twice they may put a trash can there. LOL

Whatever it's doing I'm not complaining. My strength is the highest it's been and I hit 135 on the Snatch for 5 full reps for the first time, I've been stuck on 3 reps forever.

Agreed but he was doing it for speed so wasn't maximum weight at those reps. Probably just went until accelleration stopped.

Mattrag you are leaning up very nicely. As far as the 3 inches lost on the chest measurement you are just shrinking into nothing man!!!!

No not really it is far more likely you measured yourself and that the tape measure had slack on the back side the first time. I have that happen from time to time now I look at my back in the mirror. Make sure the tape is going straight across. Even though you can feel it across your back and it is level coming from under your armpits does not mean there is not sag in the tape measure. Gravity and the protrusion of the lats make it getting caught lower a pretty common thing. I have to fight with it to get it up and even when measuring myself.

transaderm 4 weeks had me stronger than ever, libido elevated but not uncontrollable, aggression and mood semi elevated but nothing crazy. Body recomp was good. Arms, legs, neck, up with waist, chest (could be a measuring issue) down. Over all great value and good for someone who wants to add extra juice to the game for a little while. Though it did bloat me, controlling carbs while on this will be key to keeping the water off. One more thing, appetite was a bit elevated as well. ;)

Now Im in PCT.

I love Captain America especially after watching the new movie. The story of going from a little guy that was picked on and made fun of because of his size to tur into a guy that is pretty jacked is what intrigues me. This pictures show how wide my shoulders are and how short I am like Taz The top ones are from yesteday and the bottom from this past Jan after joining the forums. Got a lot of fat to lose but have made some progress.
