Looking to increase endurance and recovery

I'm 41, 170 lbs and 5' 8" tall. Heading to Thailand in October for a week of Muay Thai training so I'm training 2-3 hours per day to get into shape. This is mostly cardio, boxing, and anaerobic work. No lifting. The only strength training comes in the form of the "Insanity" workout. After a few weeks of this regimine I'm losing energy which is affecting my progress.

I'm trying to get most of my protein from food but may have to look at at another source. I'm getting really sick of boiled eggs. Went to a supplemnet store and they recommeded Test3-OXO to increase testosterone. Been taking this for two weeks now and not really feeling anything magical. My goal is not to get bigger so I can't measure success in how many inches I've gained. To the contrary, I'm looking to lose another 5-10 pounds so that I can increase my speed.

Any suggestions on supplements to increase stamina and speed recovery?

Take a look at Vidatest. It does both of those very well and will help with the added stress on your body. The price is hard to beat!

Id look into Ultra Reps and heres why.

-Creatine Monohydrate( creapure) will help with strength and recovery.

- L- Carnosine in Ultra Reps is entericaly coated which is like making it time released and will ensure MORE of the active will get absorbed, this ingredient will help with endurance big time, which will help with your training now.

-Disodium Adensoine-5'-triphosphate increases muscular and cellular energy, this will in turn increase athletic performance and recovery.

These are just a few of the ingredients in Ultra Reps. The entire formula really is special and will help you train harder, train longer, and recover better.

If you have any questions let me know.

SNS Citrulline Malate and beta-alanine are pretty much the two best endurance aids your money can buy, though Creatinol-O-Phosphate is up there as well.

Coincidentally, Citrulline Malate also reduces soreness and improves recovery. LCLT has a similar effect.

Beta Alanine and Agmatine are probably my favorite endurance supps combo.

Same with COP added

what camp are you going to? im going to thailand in january for three weeks of training. I do focus xt with agmatine and cit mal iusually do beta alanine as well but on a break for another 2 weeks after about a year straight. but all those plus bcaa and i can go forever. i run a boxing/mma program at the gym i work at and even if i do my strength training before classes i almost never gas out.

Coop beat me to this. CM, COP, LCLT and BA would be the best choices. I like using Neogenix BodyForge adding BA and LCLT to it.

We're going to Santai in Chang Mai. I can't paste a link because I'm too new but here is the website. muay-thai-santai.com

I'm still trying to digest all of the suggestions. I'm new to the supplement game and some of the initials mean nothing to me.

I still have a week or so left of the stuff that doesn't seem to do much so I'll take the suggestions and google away.

cit mal = citrulline mallate
cm = creatine monohydrate tho it might mean cit mal here creatine mono is a good suggestion as well
cop= creatinol o phosphate
lclt = L-carnitine L tartrate
BA = beta alanine

all are excellent options and can be bought in bulk to make or add to your own custom pre workout

Can any of the above suggestions be used long term or would I need to cycle the products? Basically, can I start using these products now and keep using them through October?

BTW, many of the products listed are WAYYYY cheaper than the stuff that I got from Complete Nutrition. Based on the reviews, the results will be better as well.

ya youcan use them long term. i cycle everything tho just for a mental break and not to think im to reliant on supps. plus i like the beta alanine tingles and they go away with continued use. Nutraplanet always has great deals and you can buy all those in bulk wich is great.
