Log of Unparalleled Dimensions: Viking & Irish Take On Controlled Labs

Yes. Only 1 cap is needed for this..

If you are running an extended format of fasted training, I would use 1 AP waking/1 following workout (that is, unless you're using Pslin here).

AP used in conjunction with low carbs (~20g or so) becomes a powerfull fat-loss tool, so you could use this in a variety of ways if you choose.

Oh, I gotcha. I thought you were asking what the purpose of taking it before fasted training was. Sorry.

I'll test out taking one cap and see how it goes. Do you see any benefit by bumping it up to two?

Anybody know the strength of Nutraplanet's Bulk CISSUS?

here's my New Years order..
'PowerFULL' @ the recommendation of Irish for some added GH benefits. Jacked, because it was $20 bucks .. and I need to figure out what the hype is about. @ 15 servings (@ 3 scoops/serving), it's worth a go .. So we'll see here .... It'll be a 100% unbiased review of Jacked.

.. I spoke with Irish about throwing down for the Recreate/AP stack, just because the price ($54 after 10% off) made it so much more appealing to give it a go.. I wanted to run it up until the anabolicminds.com bb comp, but I just don't have the $ to throw down for it, and I'm just to cautious when it comes to .. well, no need to cause a fuzz here.

Thomas, you are a contradiction.

You will like Jacked, of this I am sure.

You claim you'll give a '100% unbiased review'.. is this implying others in this thread are giving out biased advice?

I surely hope not.

Sadly, I am beginning to question your bias for reviews. You have for the past couple weeks taken a very anti-USP stance. You trashed SuperCissus because the product didn't work for you; then you take my dosing recommendations out of context. You trash Prime - when you have not even tried the product - and this despite 2 ppl who are totally unbiased and who you seem to respect (Volcom and Thundergod) who have enjoyed their use of it and rated it positively. Personally, I think you have even influenced Volcom into being very cautious, even scared, to report any positive effects, as he appears hesitant to attribute these obvious Prime-induced strength gains to the product (even tho this is the only supp he is taking). You snipe at Mullet; maybe there is just a personal issue there.. I don't know, but I do know I grow tired of your negative connotations.

I have to wonder: if your disdain for the company is so pronounced, then why even bother with PowerFULL, Jacked, or anything else? I guess really don't understand..

I think he's just afraid to buy into the hype of the products. Whether they work or not, no OTC product is deserving of a lot of the hype that is given to many USPlab products.

A lot of the claims are simply subjective opinions, and I think a lot of people fail to understand that, but it still bothers me.

Like Recreate: "Burns fat faster than any fat-burner, legal or illegal." That's an opinion, not a fact, but it's still leading a lot of people astray.

DNP v. Recreate: What's going to win? -

Just to make it more clear...I really like a few USP products. Heck, I like most of the ones I've tried...but the write-ups are very Muscle-techish.

If you look at the reviews on NP of various products, some have three reviews. Some have seven. Some even have fifteen or twenty...Recreate, the most hyped fat burner, has over 100, mostly all 5-star reviews. That's just shady to me. The way the reviews are written are very similar. "And if you stack it with AP it's even better!"

Let's take that statement at face value: that is the truth. There is no hype there. Tried & true, by yours truly.

The industry is rife with ludicrous claims, and MT is the worst for sure.. I'll not even speak on the advertising for USP, as this is not my concern. I have no investment in the company; I do not have a say in product development/advertising/pricing, or any of the like. I am not on the payroll..

My sole function as a USP-sponsored athlete is to put the products to use and go out and compete. If I spread the word about what I do to get the results that I do, that is repayment to the company in return for receiving the products.

But what good does it do - for me - to use these products, if they don't work?

I find the whole notion that I'm viewed as a 'rep' by some very distasteful.

Thomas, you are a contradiction.

You will like Jacked, of this I am sure.

You claim you'll give a '100% unbiased review'.. is this implying others in this thread are giving out biased advice?

I surely hope not. :

.. I admit, claiming a '100% unbiased review' might imply that everyone else's IS biased, but I did not mean this. I merely want to try out Jacked after hearing all the 100s of reviews here lately.. I mean, the fact that people are literally re-telling advertisement claims makes it a little hard for me to keep reading reviews without trying it myself .. The only way to get a, imo, un-biased opinion is to try it myself, right? I won't even play around with dosing, but jump straight into 3 scoops/serving ..

.. I DO find it a little strange how USPlabs' products on NP.com have 20-40 reviews [I'm talking about Recreate and Jacked in particular] .. Other products in the same categories have little to no actual feedback/reviews @ NP.com. Is this merely because USPlabs draws such a crowd? I'm not making accusations/implying anything negative, Snag, just wondering ...

Sadly, I am beginning to question your bias for reviews. You have for the past couple weeks taken a very anti-USP stance. You trashed SuperCissus because the product didn't work for you; then you take my dosing recommendations out of context.

Tell me, when did I take it out of context? When I posted that USPlabs reps/athletes suggest a greater dosage than normal? ..

It wasn't out of context, as it was true. You literally suggested 9 caps/day of Cissus .. Perhaps as a sponsored athlete, this is doable, but to anyone else, that doesn't stay much cost efficient any longer, does it? I found that very strange as other Cissus products worked @ recommended dosage, and they worked great! I'm speaking of Incarnate in particular, which is not even just solely a cissus product .. How 1,200mg of Cissus from Incarnate cured my pains vs. 3,000-4,500mg of Cissus from Super Cissus RX didn't yield any relief, it was beyond me .. it still is beyond me ..

And the anti-USPlabs stance, I'll admit that .. but when I try two of the companies products [3 bottles AP, 1 bottle SuperCissusRX], and there are no benefits, of course it's not appreciated. Of course you start 'labeling' the company .. put it in your book as 'questionable' .. And to find that 'my method of taking it is wrong' [AP] or 'I'm not dosing high enough, as I'm sticking to the recommended/suggested dosage' [Cissus], of course it makes me think twice .. and then again ..

[/QUOTE]

You trash Prime - when you have not even tried the product - and this despite 2 ppl who are totally unbiased and who you seem to respect (Volcom and Thundergod) who have enjoyed their use of it and rated it positively. I have to wonder: if your disdain for the company is so pronounced, then why even bother with PowerFULL, Jacked, or anything else? I guess really don't understand..

As for PRIME, my good sir, you DO need to point out more clearly what exactly ticks you there .. the bb.com thread, where Jacob claims it's a more powerful product than iForce's Dimethazine [and like the ad says, D-bol]? I mean, I call B$ when I see it .. and yes, the PRIME and PCT .. I wasn't the only one in the thread who needed re-assuring as to what Jacob implied .. check out from the bottom of Page 5 and beyond.

And just the general advice given from USPlabs reps .. 800-1,000 mg Pslin powder with 100 grams carbs, and some awe-inspiring pre/intra/post-workout concoction .. the Ultra-Mass Shake that there keeps popping up different Company Promotion threads on. I saw DJbombsquad on here throw down 800 or 900 mg of Pslin with his mass shake.. He's what, a buck, 40-50 ?! With PSlin caps, you're given 500mg Pslin active each cap, and directions say take it with up to 100 grams carbs .. Now, with the PSlin powder, you need up to twice the dosage !? I find it a little ruthless [for the lack of a better word] for marketing to be in such a way .. it's scheming, imo. It's a shady way of doing business imo.

.. Now, Snag, why you keep getting personally offended is beyond me. You were mentioned regarding the Cissus caps, and I PM'd you an apology, explaining the reasoning, and I thought that case was closed. Beyond this, I've never mentioned you. USPlabs, yes, but not you. You're a sponsored athlete, and you're representing your company well .. And you're telling me that Volcom is reluctant to give praise to PRIME because of me? Dude, you've gotta cheer up a bit. Apart from posting regarding his great strength gains, and asking regarding the lethargy, I haven't had a negative comment in his thread bashing USPlabs or PRIME. So I'll just forget you even said that, because I know you're better than that.

If you look at the reviews on NP of various products, some have three reviews. Some have seven. DAMN, DAMN, DAMN !!!! I just spend 30-40 minutes posting a response, barely even dared to add this comment .. But YOU see it, too. OK, I no longer feel like a hypocrit looking for trouble. Like I said, I tell it like I see it, and this abundance of reviews there did catch me off-guard.

But Snag, as snagalicious as you may be, you're sounding more and more like a rep. I mean, you take my comments personally .. comments not even pertaining to you. If they're directed at USPlabs or any USPlabs products, you'll try to twist it and turn it .. just like Mullet.

.. I mean, in your above statement, 'Let's take that statement at face value: that is the truth. There is no hype there. Tried & true, by yours truly' responding to what Irish said about the comment/review section of USPlabs @ NP. -> in other words, 'if it worked for me, it will work for you' ..

Now, as for me trying out Jacked .. Heck, I might just cancel it out of my order, but I actually wanted to see if ONE of USPlabs' products could change any current opinon I've got. $19.99 plus a free Y-RD, I thought it was worth it. $hit, come to think of it, it'd give me a chance to try both products for $19.99.

And I didn't get USPlabs' PowerFULL. I got Bulk 1-carboxy-2-amino-3-pyrobenzol(3,4 diol). I didn't get it in order to trash another USPlabs product [or USP powder], I got it because Irish has spoken highly of it, and I wanted to give it a go. Heck, I'll just refrain from commenting about it period, wouldn't that be better?

.. Dude, you've gotta cheer up a bit.

Dude, this was funny as hell! I'm cheered..

Well, I didn't mean to make you spend 30-40 minutes typing all that Thomas.. but I am appreciative in your response. That was very rational, mature, and level-headed.

Perhaps my initial response was not..

I did read some inference into a couple of your statements; it did seem (coupled with all that other stuff you brought up) there was some doubting my sincerity. Since I've grown to like a couple guys in this group we all circle in (you being one of them), I did take this personally. That was my bad. Public apology to you.

No, I harbor no ills re. that 'other' thread. As for the other USP guys you make reference to, I have no clue, don't know 'em. I was simply frustrated, spending time with Irish (and a lot of others btw - you included) on diet/supp advice.. to see what I say questioned as if I've got some ulterior motive, when all I do is give my honest opinions..

Ahh hell, immature on my part to take it personally.

So I'll just forget you even said that, because I know you're better than that.

Cool. Done deal bro.

Snag, you're a good man!

Happy New Years to you, sir! [and no, I am NOT implying you're an old man ]

Just to clarify: I pass along what works for me. As we all know, differrent strokes for different folks. But I was speaking to my own personal experience with that particular combo; Irish was claiming that that was questionable hype.. I merely reiterated it as a fact for myself.

Carry on my friend.

Renegade - how would REDuction stack with Ephedrine?

I noticed it has 200mg of caffeine in the AM serving and thought that it could replace some of the caff I would have to take with an ECA stack next month.

The caffeine in the AM serving of REDuction could definitely replace other caffeine you take during the day. :) I'm not a big fan of Eph so I can't really comment there, but I do know one guy who stopped using Eph and replaced it with REDuction. He's been happy with the change. Just make sure not to overdo it. :)

Week 2 Review

Today is an off day, so I won't be training, but I wanted to do a review of what I've noticed from each supplement thus far. First I'll generalize what I'm feeling, and then break it down to each individual supplement.

Strength: Up on all Olympic lifts, and some hypertrophy exercises.

Mood: Lower stress (although I don't have much to stress about right now). Small increase in aggression. Focused.

Libido: Very high.

Muscle Endurance: Much higher than normal.

Energy: High around workouts

Pump/Vascularity: Higher than normal.

Size: Recomping; +3lbs from the start of the log.

BlueGENE

My libido is always high, but I noticed it heightened even further the first few days on BG.

Muscle endurance has greatly increased, and is still doing so. Each workout is better and more intense than the last.

I also associate some of my elevated mood to BG.

GlycerGROW

It's easy to associate this product with the insane pumps and vascularity I've been getting during my workouts. Within the first few sets I feel pumped and full, with rock-hard muscle density.

GreenMAGNITUDE

I've noticed increased strength and less body cramps, which I suspect is from this supplement.

WhiteFLOOD

Insane energy and pumps. Great focus. Supreme intensity. WF compliments the BlueGENE greatly, or maybe the other way around.

***********

I was thinking during my workout yesterday that this is one of the most synergistic stacks I've ever used, but after further thought I realized that it IS the most synergistic stack I've ever used...Bar none.

All of these Controlled Labs products are great, and when combined, the results are phenomenal. I've really enjoyed the improved performance I've received so far. I think things are really starting to kick in now, so I'm excited for the next couple of weeks.

I've only got another two weeks left of GreenMAG and BlueGENE, but GlycerGROW and WhiteFLOOD will last for about another four weeks.

This is some truly great feedback. Posts like this should be singled out and made a required reading for the log lol. Thanks for the great job, and I'm glad you have been so happy with the stack. :D

Oh yeah guys I wanted to chime in with my own personal experience too.

Right now my stack looks like this:

3 tabs Blue Gene upon waking.
1 scoop white flood upon waking.

pre workout:
3 tabs blue gene
1 scoop white flood
5 caps green bulge
3 scoops GG before workout

Splitting the BG dosage up has been pretty cool. I feel it gives me sustained energy, focus and libido during the day. And by the time early afternoon hits and I'm hitting the weights, the aggression has kicked in. Something you may want to try!

Day 16

Real good workout today. I was extremely drained by the third exercise, but I pushed through it. Strength is still rising, although my hacks were a little low; my quads are still beat up from Tuesday.

Day 4: Quads/Traps/O. Upper

BB Hacks: 95x18,16,14,14,14,13,12,12

Leg Extensions: 170x17,15,15,14,14,13,14,13
BB Shrugs: 145x20,19,17,16,16,16, 155x16,14

Flat Bench BB Press: 155x15, 175x10, 205x6, 225x4, 230x3,3

C&J: 95x ~, 135x 4, 155x2,1, 135x2,2

It was a fun workout. I pretty much have my form down perfectly on the C&J now. I've really been enjoying having a few O-lifts in my workouts. It's a nice change, and I feel like I'll be adding some real good strength if I keep it up.

Tomorrow is HIIT on the Spin Bike, but I won't be doing that fasted.

I'm glad I got a closer look at your bicep tat. I think I faintly saw it before in another shot and I thought it was the food pyramid. I was like damn, now that's some dedication to diet. No seriously, I really though it was the food pyramid.

Great looking forearms by the way. Nothing like having a snake pit on your flexors. I want a snake pit....

Bahaha! The food pyramid?! - That would be so funny to see someone with that tattooed on them.

That reminds me of d-bag bodybuilders...Which reminds me of today in the gym...This dude was in there with his wife or girlfriend and after every set he would say something to the effect of, "Oh! The burn! I feel it deep inside me! My muscles are just...ohhhh!" But he was being serious...Like that part on Anchorman where he's doing bicep curls and screaming, "One-thousand one! One-thousand two! Ohhh, the burn! It's so deep!"

Ya, but this guy was for real. Like he was going into detail about it. I was doing BB Shrugs at the time and kept laughing during my holds at the top and I'd drop the weight. hahaha.

In Kung Fu, this is called, "The Horse Stance." There is this guy at my gym who always drops into the horse stance when he does EZ bar curls. I know the difference when some people drops all the way down and uses their knees as a preacher, but no, this guy gets into a Kung Fu Horse Stance and curls, with a look in his eye like he's doing a martial arts demo. It's very odd.

Thats awesome irish, a 3lb gain, great summary too, but i can only rep you so many times in so little space of time...if you get me.
Hope you reach all your goals for the year!!

To viking, hope you have a great 09 bro, look after yourself, and keep that viking power raging through your veins, like arild haugen.

Good Lord that is a LOT of Hack Squats! 8sets with a min of 12reps?! GEEZ... I bet you had a quad pump that nearly blew your kneecaps off.

And getting the form down on the clean and jerk makes all the difference in the world - just moving correctly through the form pretty much immediately allowed me to increase the weight by a lot back when I learned that lift. Well done.

Ya, those hacks kill me. I do them real slow and controlled. I look somewhat like a 100yo person going to sit down in a children's chair, and then trying to get back up without any assistance.

This is off topic, but do you guys ever want to punch someone just because of how they look? Like, not even so much ugly, but just annoying-looking people? I was just at Target and this tall, chubby kid was walking around. He had to be at least 6', yet looked like he was eight years old. I wanted to bodyslam him.

You have just described how I feel pretty much everyday - though I usually want to punch people due to their arrogance or attitude, appearance definitely is on the "hitlist."

For example: at the New Year's Party I attended, there were a few high school guys, all friends, and all wearing pre-ripped Abercrombie and Fitch Jeans, a pink or equally retarded t-shirt, a LEATHER VEST fully buttoned, and one of those old man fedoras you can pick up at Wal-Mart for 10.99. Not a real, broad-brimmed, well-blocked, wool-felt fedora; but the short, cotton, striped, little ones. They thought they were so cool and I couldn't look at them without thinking what a bunch of idiots they were.

Leather vest? Hahah. Odd. I wear wool and silk vests, but I'm Irish and I'm reserved that privilege. :D

That's not even as bad, though. Like, clothes are something that they can change...I want to punch people because their face bothers me.

Talking about not liking people, there is one guy in the gym who really grosses me out. He is a skinny fat dude in his mid 40's, with long stringy, unwashed hair. He wears a belly shirt every time he comes in, and he's got these gross moles that show all over his stomach... He doesn't work out properly either. There have been a couple of times that I've kinda' wanted to punch him, cause he thinks he is sooo cool.

There is this Polish cat at my gym [no general disrespect to the Poles here] that I want to beat with a preacher bar. He brings his cell phone to the gym everyday and incessantly yaps on it so the people at the gym know he is talking to 'somebody' and the person on the phone knows he 'is at the gym'. He is one of those asswads who must have just discovered cell phones and thinks they are still novel.

I have a douche Pole at my gym, too. He's old, though, and constantly complains and moans about the weight being too heavy and he makes weird noises...like a different dialect of a grunt. "ErrrAHHoiiggg..oh....rah....gah.....ErrrAHHOiigggg..." - All of the cool old people in the gym like him, though. Maybe he's a funny guy or something outside of the gym, but in the gym he is so annoying.

Hahaha, good to see I'm not the only one with some natural testosterone coursing through my veins !

.. Resolve, I fully agree; just the A&F guys in general, the stereotypical frat guy with the brand new Shox [wears a new pair each time he steps into the gym]; with cut-off sleeves on their t-shirt, and then cut all the way down the sides down do their obliques, such that when they lay down, one or both nipples pop out of their shirt. I mean, they're basically wearing a veil [vail?], showing all of their side [guts or not] and then with nipples flaring.

These guys have my nostrils flaring; more of a, 'who-the-f*ck-you-think-you-are' kind of deal. Arrrghh ..

These same guys always make sure to 'float' across the gym floor. I say 'float' because they're walking real slowly, while flaring whatever they think they got for lats, and constantly stare themselves down in the mirror. I mean, even when WALKING, they lock their eyes in on themselves, it's quite entertaining, but even more annoying, so it gets me every time ! hahaha

Ohh, baby!

Skinny-fat people are the worst.

Oh, and there's this one guy @ my gym back home. He's always wearing pajama-looking pants; thin 'sweatpants' with the squares/boxes that are typical for pajamas. And then a nasty looking wife-beater on top.

.. now, I don't mean to be a hater for saying this, but he's got these WELTS of acne. Literally, covering his shoulders caps, across his chest, and all over the upper back. It's nasty .. I say, I don't mean to hate, because all I'd ask for is for him to put something on to cover it up! I mean, I had a friend of mine at the gym [a 45 year old], who's been talking to him every once in a while, sharing techniques and training advice and whatnot.. My buddy hadn't seen this 'acne-guy' in like a week, and he came up to me a couple days before I hit up Colorado; hey, have you seen that big guy .. umm .. how should I say .. the guy with the excessive acne? Seen him lately?

.. I mean, when people refer to you that way, it's time to make an attempt to do something about it, or simply cover up.

I HATE when people cut their Ts like that...all the way down to where only a 1/4in of width is left on the bottom.

Glad you understood the picture I tried to 'draw' .. yes, those would be it. I'm a complete HATER of those ! I just wanna .. :nutkick:

Can't cover up your face!

Weight - ?

.. Tonight's session was on another level. I was BIIIG. And I mean JAAACKED! As in the Juice-group here at Gold's Gym [you know how every gym has a typical group of juicers of 3-7 members] were staring me down with the WTF look. Not only was I veiny as they were, with a pump that surpassed most of them, but I've got clean skin to top it off .. I don't mind strutting my stuff then, as opposed to them. :FUfinger:

.. I now do WIDE-grip [as wide as my arms allow me] pull ups in a mechanical fashion. I'm hooked on pull ups, as I am a firm believer that it's what has created my wings. I went bowling with my family today, and my older brother made a point of saying that 'dude, i saw your new wings when you were bowling,' and that says quite a bit!

Seated Cable Rows with 300 for 12 reps and 3 sets; Holy $hit. And these are performed with a slow descent, and an explosive ascent with a peak squeeze where I touch the close-grip to my belly button. 150 lbs DB Rows for 12 reps and two sets; what the hell is going on ?! Whatever it is, I'm enjoying the heck out of it !

.. @ 6 caps, there's a confirmed/definite increase in mood, focus and mind/muscle connection. I SWEAR by these effects, and I thoroughly enjoy them. @ 6-8 scoops of GlycerGrow in 2-3 seperate portions of the day; keeps my muscles engorged and looking full. 2-3 scoops White Flood, begin sipping on it alongside 4-5 grams of Beta Alanine 45 minute pre-workout allows me to get my focus and energy levels up. By drinking it over time, it allows my stomach to 'bare it' better. I say 'better' because I'm still going for 2-3 bathroom breaks pre/intra/post workout. Green MAGnitude; wow, this acts as an explosive laxative for me. I'm sorry, but I do not feel like I can attribute any particular gains or 'feel' to the Green MAgnitude. It's a sure-fire troublemaker for me, due to my overly sensitive stomach.

Dude, people ALWAYS say that about my back when I bowl. Supposedly I have the appearance of swinging my arm around, but it's just because my lats push my arms way out.

Hahaha, sooo, gotta be honest, right before I hit the bowling lanes, I got a tight-fitting white shirt. Made me look lean and mean as hell .. Anyway, when I had the floor, I heard a couple people from the lane next to us saying, 'holy $hit, look at that guy.. he's f*cking huge!' and stuff like that, so I felt all high and mighty. With a tight-fitting white t-shirt on, and nothing but a tank top under that again, it becomes obvious when you've got a mighty back. I looked about a barn-door wide ! :head:

.. I'm not a shabby bowler; I do it a couple times a year, but I've got so much force in me, and the aim isn't bad, so the pins bounce all over the place when they're hit. Anyway, I made a point of 'lecturing' my little brothers, and told them to keep your arm close to your body, and let go when the bowling bowl hand is in front of you. Then it's my turn .. And I'm under the impression I'm keeping a strict straight up-and-down form, with the bowling ball right @ my side. I turned to my dad, and he goes, 'you've got to stop swinging your arm in a circular motion, you know .. I mean, you said so yourself' ! hahaha, priceless .. Damn my lats !

:goodpost: You just have to look at Snag's pics, they talk for themselves ;)
It has been working for me too, for whatever that is worth, those of you who have been following my log can surely make their own judgement. At the moment (and for the last two weeks) I'm only using P-slin bulk powder with high carbs, AP I dose on low carbs.

TRUE. I'm lucky that I'm only 120ish lb so I don't have to overdose anything...other than BAlanine :D

Cissus RX really works for me at 4caps a day and I'm hesitant to change something that works.... but you got me interested in Incarnate Viking :p

This is some truly great feedback. Posts like this should be singled out and made a required reading for the log lol. Thanks for the great job, and I'm glad you have been so happy with the stack. :D

NO THEY SHOULD NOT !!! THAT post killed my credit card !

AGREE! :D

Forget about bis peak and horseshoe tris if you have barbie-doll forearms ! Invalid Link Removed

You won't be let down, Dragonfly! Controlled Labs has some of the best and definitely most cost-effective supplements out there. I can't wait to give Green Bulge a try at some point, and I'll probably be buying a couple bottles of BlueUP for MMV2 pct. Even though it's a mild hormone, I tend to always go overboard with PCTs. So many people dread it, but I like to make it fun!
