I think you should consider forgoing the Epistane the first month. That way when you get to the last month you aren’t already feeling rough. Gains will likely be similar in the end but it won’t be as harsh.
I like this. I’m already a little worried about Epistane drying me out

That’s kinda my thought process. You don’t want to get through a month of Epistane and think, man, I can’t even handle any more heavy lifting - and now you are facing down a boost from Msten or SD. AND those will tax the appetite, so you want a decent appetite going into them.

You are better off stacking it in the last month so if it treats you poorly it’s only 4 weeks. Epistane is an especially variable response drug. You hear more different things from different doses, brands, & users than almost anything else out there.

I haven’t had an issue in the past but now my joints are very finicky.

Tried it once, lowest dose. Made it a week. Never again.
I ran it successfully a little while back so I’m not too worried but I also stayed at 20mg. I got 200 caps for free so it’s not a huge deal if I have to stop early.

Went and had my first electro acupuncture session today. Crazy how much better my left side already feels. I’m cleared for upper body movements but am supposed to take a week off from lower body exercises. Fingers crossed

Threw some Ursa in the mix starting today, got a few bottles to go through so I’ll see how much transdermal I can stand in one day. Thinking 4ml or Ursa with 20 pumps of Epichaos100…then 10 pumps Helios100 when it arrives, a little triton pwo and some Stanogen on heavy day. God that’s a lot, we’ll see

Had my 2nd and hopefully last acupuncture appointment today. I’m 100% pain free and am cleared for all exercises!

Today is a press day, felt my lower body was way too loose for squatting after today’s appointment. Started with dumbbell flat bench for a change and the pressing felt great. The whole workout went well and I have a nice soreness in my chest and tris but zero pain or discomfort.

Not sure where you are, but GGT is not commonly reported for most complete metabolic panels I’ve seen here in the US. Doctors don’t routinely order it that I’m aware of and I’ve never had it drawn in panels I’ve ordered personally either through both LabCorp and Quest drawing facilities (I get bloods privately about 3-4x a year typically).

Orals aren’t really going to be worse for creatinine, and AST/ALT & generally total bilirubin should clean up post cycle. Assuming someone is using things like NAC and TUDCA anyway. It’s the HDL always being low that is the real longterm issue with orals too often.

Today was some of the most comfortable benching I’ve had in a long time. I really concentrated on my arch as well as my shoulder placement on the bench. Dug in deep with my feet and set the safeties right at the bottom of the lift. I also raised my j-cups a notch which made a huge difference with the lift off. I honestly think these adjustments may have added 10lb to my max along with the additional tricep work I’ve been doing. I think in the new year I’ll go for a 335+ single. Very happy today.

I’d also like to note that I’m still running epichaos100 as well as helios100. The 2 together are great!

Nice benching! I think the best bench cue I ever heard was “lift your big toe up while your feet are planted”. Stupid simple with massive results. The lat engagement recruited just from doing this is night and day. A fucking toe man!

What muscles you are engaging and the body position is so crucial man.

Most of the stuff that has helped me the most came from Scott Mendelson. Things like trying to bench on your traps, keeping the hips high both on the bar descent and the press up by trying to drive your heels down (regardless of whether you bench heels up or down), lowering/receiving the bar with your lats, driving back into your traps to press your body away from the bar (that might have been JM Blakley).

Also, just keeping my damn wrists locked straight and not folding back.

Today was a good day. Squats were coming up fast. Wanted to get up to 405 but sacrificing form isn’t an option. That amrap was painful. Gotta figure exactly how to optimally set the bands for the leg curls. They felt good but not great. Played around with some variation of military press using the cambered multi grip. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this.

Workout was cut short this morning. I’ll get the rest done later this week during my 2nd push day. Kind of annoying but that’s part of being an adult I guess. Benching continues to feel good with zero pain in my shoulder. However, sciatic pain is back so I might have to take it easy on squats this week.

Pull day, left hamstring is still bothering me so I opted not to pull from the floor and instead do some variation of rows and just have an accessory day. Upper back needs work as my wife so nicely pointed out haha. @SkRaw85 I tried the seal rows but I need some more height to get a better ROM. Maxed out my dumbbells on bent over rows which felt good, gotta find more pancake weights or just make one big boy.

Yea I’m actually gonna do a Deload this coming week. Just kinda doing my own thing lately. Might run some 5/3/1 after the deload not sure. I’ve been having a good time so far.

Friday shoulder days are the best days. Shoulder feels 100%. Next week is a deload week, tried for some heavy singles on military but it wasn’t there. I’m ready for a deload haha. @Hyde called it above, even though I was thinking it I might not have followed through.

Deload week. Mixed in some variety utilizing different bars. First time trying the SSB JM press and I love them. I didn’t need to go heavy at all to feel them hitting my tris, very natural this way. Watched the rogue invitational for strongman late last night…Martins!!!! Though to myself I should use my axle again haha. Anyway, this workout was fun and effective.

I am loving the SSB for JMs, easily the best way to do them because of the consistency. You descend to touch & roll the forearms back, then reverse into an extension/press. Wish I had this years ago!

I also watched most of the strongman events of the Rogue Invitational. Definitely not a fanboy of his, but I was happy for Martins, to see him come back to the stage and put on the performance he knew he was capable of after all his setbacks. Some folks crapped on him winning WSM in 2019, saying he only won because it was a CrossFit event and too light/favoring speed, but I was there on the beach that weekend and I will tell you he was very very strong. Nobody could beat him overall. Nobody pressed the medley so fast, nobody could out-squat him, and his stone run was terrific. All in the brutal sun & humidity and running on the sand. After this weekend, I think he can win another World’s if he really wants it.
