There's no point in trying to increase a woman's libido with the answer in a product. Women work differently than men. If she has low libido then find out WHY and work on that. The guys gave a few good suggestions in the thread above - ignore all that pertain to supplements and pay attention to the ones where you work on arousing her mind.

that might be a little bit of a stretch. I've been with my GF for 3 years. She was on birth control last year and had tons of libido issues. Libido carries into everything. Libido is the entire spectrum of love, from holding hands, to having sex. When your libido is gone, you don't feel any sexual attraction, you just feel friendship, regardless of how hard you try to make things romantic, etc. I've seen so many women come off birth control and completely change. Too many guys get screwed over because they and their partners don't realize that birth control is likely to severely screw up everything in a relationship.

how do u work on arousing her mind like weve been together almost 2 years so like ive ran out of tricks?

You find a way. NOTHING is impossible. Try TALKING to her about it. Start thinking outside the box. Use your imagination.

I can't speak for every woman. Hell, I'm NOT like most women in how my mind and body generally works and I don't use BC, so what would I know. However, you can't blame any one thing for the lack of something. You just work to find a solution. Besides, sex isn't everything, and IMO you don't need it for a relationship to be successful.

Me and my wife have a great relationship, sex or not...but, when she was on Depo Provera (BC, shot once every three months) she just never really got aroused on her own. I could get her to that point if I tried really hard and it would be fine but it just wasn't natural. So, she finally quit the BC and about 3-4 months later she completely changed back to normal.

For you guys in this thread that have lost libido while on a cycle of some sort, this is what I would compare it to. You want to have sex in your mind but you just don't feel like it's worth it physically....or it's impossible physically lol.

I have to agree and disagree on this. BC is not a supplement or something it's a hormone and I do believe that you could blame one thing for lack or something. You couldn't blame lack of a good relationship etc on BC because a good relationship is many things i have been married over a decade and have two kids. But low libidio can be one very real side effect of introducing and outside hormone ie bc into a womans body just like testicular shrinkage acne increased libidio could be directly associated with injecting testosterone in a male.

Tribulus terrestris can help libido & sexualis in women..low dose 250 mg. It could even lean you out..googel it

I guess you're right. It doesn't need any supps or pills to raise womens libido.
It just need to find your way in raising it up or finding a solution on it. Sometimes, it is in the mood of the girl. :)

Try some seni-naughty texts thru the day. Never fails to get my GF in the mood. Sometimes I can barely get in the door without getting my clothes ripped off, and her hitting her knees!

my girl took Tribulus and it works great she stayed wet the whole time she was on and a few weeks after she stopped taking it i stand behind this product 100%

Scented oil back rubs open the flood gates at my house.

FACT: Nothing turns my girlfriend on more than a nice oily back rub (or use lotion if you don't have any oil). Don't just massage, be sensual with that $h!t and don't be afraid to explore!

I've often wondered if the increase in SHBG caused by birth control is one of the causes for decreased libido in women. I'd be curious to see what 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran might do for the women who lost libido due to starting birth control.

Impact of oral contraceptives on sex hormone-binding globulin and androgen levels: a retrospective study in women with sexual dysfunction.

Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Oral contraceptives (OCs) have been the preferred method of birth control because of their high rate of effectiveness. OC use, however, has been associated with women's sexual health complaints and androgen insufficiency. OC use is associated with a decrease of androgen ovarian synthesis and an increase in the production of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). There have been limited studies assessing SHBG values after discontinuation of OC use.

AIM: To retrospectively investigate SHBG levels before and after discontinuation of OC use.

MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE: Sex hormone-binding globulin values were compared at baseline, while on the OC, and well beyond the 7-day half-life of SHBG at 49-120 (mean 80) days and >120 (mean 196) days after discontinuation of OCs.

METHODS: A total of 124 premenopausal women with sexual health complaints for >6 months met inclusion/exclusion criteria. Three groups of women were defined: (i) "Continued-Users" (N = 62; mean age 32 years) had been on OCs for >6 months and continued taking them; (ii) "Discontinued-Users" (N = 39; mean age 33 years) had been on OCs for >6 months and discontinued them; and (iii) "Never-Users" (N = 23; mean age 36 years) had never taken OCs.

RESULTS: Sex hormone-binding globulin values in the "Continued-Users" were four times higher than those in the "Never-User" group (mean 157 +/- 13 nmol/L vs. 41 +/- 4 nmol/L; P < 0.0001). Despite a decrease in SHBG values after discontinuation of OC use, SHBG levels in "Discontinued-Users" remained elevated in comparison with "Never-Users" (N = 26; P < 0.0001 for >120 days).

CONCLUSION: In women with sexual dysfunction, SHBG changes in "Discontinued-Users" did not decrease to values consistent with "Never-Users." Long-term sexual, metabolic, and mental health consequences might result as a consequence of chronic SHBG elevation. Does prolonged exposure to the synthetic estrogens of OCs induce gene imprinting and increased gene expression of SHBG in the liver in some women? Prospective research is needed.

We all know that no woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with any thoughts otherwise is — is just bogus.

Buy a rabbit to use with her, this will do the trick. If you haven't gotten into toys with her, could be a good time to start.

Btw, BC is known to lower free test.

Love you to death Rosie, but I'm not totally sold on that. For instance, women do have a higher libido during ovulation - and that's due to a chemical / hormonal response rather than anything mental.

So I think there is something out there that could improve female libido - we just haven't found it yet.

But ... do we really need to? For instance, Mrs. Honda has ME as her personal libido coach. After 25 years of blissful marriage - I can tell when Mrs. Honda is stressed out and could use a physical diversion - she doesn't know it - but I do. And after she gets it - she always says - "Damn, that's what I needed but I didn't really realize it."

This is a "jedi power" that some men have - and it must not be abused for the purposes of the "dark side" or your woman will not trust you when you tell her ... "Hey, it's time".

LOL ... but -- for more conventional measures to increase her libido - I usually wash the dishes or do some other domestic cleaning. She gets off on that.

any ideas

Take a Shower and put some deodorant on. Don't fart so much. Clean up after yourself. Pick up your socks. Wash the dishes and take out the trash. Vacuum. Sweep. Mop the floors. Clean the bathroom and the kitchen, better yet the whole house or apartment. Send her flowers at work.

Stress is a libido killer. It's easier said than done, I know, but try to reduce the stress in your life. Also if there are problems with your relationship, that will kill it, too.

I completely agree.

Curious with a few ideas currently.

DAMNIT!!! THERES A PILL FOR EVERYTHING IN THE F*CKIN WORLD FOR EVERY DAMN PROBLEM BUT WE CANT FIND ONE TO GET HER LIBIDO UP?!?!

Oh look...i found some Xanax.

Mucuna works really well....especially if your lady has had a really stressful day i.e. work or school.

I wish custom cap was still around. I'd make the lady a great mix.

Also should add, dark dark dark chocolate is much more potent in this aspect then all other types of chocolate. We find fair trade organic 85% cocoa at a market near by. A few squares a day is excellent for you and always helps get the juices flowing!

Random acts of Love.Don't be So predictable. keep us on our toes, make us think you always have new ideas and only choose to be on the couch because I wanna be lazy. When you catch us "off gaurd" in daily ****, not just sex, you earn "interesting" points.
