Leave iPhone 4 to Droid Razr

I am thinking about doing the switch....
Razor looks really inciting but I'm not 100 percent sure.
What are your thoughts?

Id prefer the 4s...actually Id prefer to wait for Iphone 5 if you can hang on just a bit.

The new Samsung Galaxy may be one of the best phones on the market today, minus the apple store though.

If you watch Mission Impossible you def would go with a 4s.

I have had the samsung epic galaxy for almost 2 years now. I LOVE it. With any phone there are pros and cons. The only con with my phone is the app store isn't as good as apple store. However, that isn't really a con because the droid market is growing and growing and is in serious comp with apple store. I adore my phone seriously and I use it for email, I have AM app on it, facebook, angry birds, church app, games galore, workout buddy, etc. My screen is that amoled screen, flawless screen so much better than iphone and the mobile pics are better quality as well.
They say your either a droid person or an iphone person. When Iphone first came out my brother got it and I really just didn't like it that much. I have an ipod and would love an ipad, but I got nook tablet for way cheaper for christmas and again it does everything the ipad does cept the app store is smaller. But in my opinion apple is HYPE...it's like a name brand thing. Know what I mean? You just gotta figure out if you are obsessed with your iphone or not and figure what you want out of your phone. I'm obsessed with my droid...I'm actually going to upgrade to the epic 2 because I get 150 off! Woooo. SO I will NEVER switch to iphone. :) Hope this helps!

My brother had an iphone for years and i'd mess around on it for web and games and stuff and it (and all mac products to be honest) never felt "right" to me, went in to the at&t store, tried a droid phone and was hooked, it felt like "home" (as does windows), and I enjoy using it. You really should go an futz around with one if you are on the fence. In this case it really is "apples and oranges" :D

I have the Razor (typing on it now actually). Way better than iPhone IMO. Bigger screen, slim design, longer battery, faster processor, 4G, gorilla glass face, etc....easy choice for me.

Yeah.
Do u have a case for the phone?

Isn't there and app as well where u can download free music for the razr/droid?

There are tons of free music apps on the droid market.

Throw some up for me?

Well there is Pandora of course. I heart radio sucks don't get that. I dunno if it just sucks on android market or not, but it's horrible.
Then there is MP3 Music download pro and I have both that and pandora. There are a few others on there that you can search for in the market. They will have reviews and ratings. But I only need one so I don't know about them. The only thing to be careful about is that ads that go along with the apps sometimes, other than that I love the download pro!

I love my iPhone. The only droid in the market I would consider going to is the Samsung galaxy. Though, I'm not going to. Best thing to do is find someone with a phone and play with theirs and see if it feels good for ya

Download allows for free music downloads?

I like the i heart radio app cuz it lets me listen to my favorite AM talk station from LA LoL. But I only use it for that one station.

Mike and Ken?

Iphone 5 will have a bigger screen (1/2" bigger), and will also be true 4G (4S is really 3.5G). Should be a thinner phone too. None of this is official however.

Guys apple all the way...nothin compare to iPhone plz...

4shared and music paradise on the android market

4shared also contains .apk files, like being able to go to a previous version of an app that you prefer verses the updated version of an app.

I bought a 3GS several months ago on ebay (so Im not stuck on contract,) almost new condition (dont buy them old the batteries get crappy) for $165 shipped just to hold me over to the iphone5.

The 3GS is no slouch, and my wife has a 4S so I can compare. 3GS is still fully supported, runs IOS5 and Apple is even manufacturing another 1.5 million of them this first 1/4 year.

Great ideas!

I'm due for a new phone right now. Still rockin the original Moto Droid and I'll upgrade to an Android from that. I considered the iPhone, but only briefly. To me, the top contenders right now are the Razr and the Galaxy Nexus. (Assuming you're talking Verizon here.) I tinkered a bit with them both at the store last weeked. The Nexus is huge, but I wasn't sold on the physical design of it. Android 4.0 looked VERY nice on it, and I can't wait to upgrade to it from Froyo. The Razr feel solid, but very very light and super thin compared to what I am used to. It's not running 4.0 yet, but I'm sure that it'll be upgraded.

Upon reading, which I actually do a LOT when my fingers aren't typing here, the only real complaint of the Razr is short battery life. Don't know if anyone who has one can report on that, but I'd really like to hear some first-hand experience about it before I commit. Regardless, the Razr has a better camera and expandable memory, 2 big advantages for me over the Nexus. I'll end up with a Razr next month. Even if the battery thing is an issue, I already have chargers all around me, and I'll be picking up the battery kicker pack that they're selling at the store these days. The Razr Maxx is coming in February - sports a bigger battery. It'll probably be $299 knocking the Razr to $199, though it is already there now if you go to the Verizon's website. $199 for a "16GB Razr", in other words, $100 less because it doesn't ship with a memory card. But with 16GB internal memory, so what? lol

Anywho, definitely gonna follow this one for your decision and any reports before I go shopping. Good luck!

Ok guys here's a trick about iPhone...I had the first iphone2 and I have iphone4s now...the trick is you can upgrade ur iPhone in ur contract just make sure ur warranty is still valid...ok iPhone gives you 1 year warranty...if you go to apple store and tell them that you having problems with ur iPhone 4 (like its get hot while charging or home button don't press) they will give ur refurbished one...after exchanging 2x then call apple customer service and tell them you already changed ur phone couple of times and tell them u just want a new one...they will give u a brand new phone with one year warranty again...

I love my iPhone 4. Ease of use is my main buying point, and the fact of all of the apps and stuff too is really nice. If you're into customizing everything, then Droid is the way to go.

I was concerned about the battery at first also, but i have been pleasantly surprised at how long it lasts. For the record, I had an original Motorola Droid also before I upgraded, and this battery lasts longer than it did. My Razr also outlasts my buddy's iPhone 4s at work too. We both play with our phones all day and he is always hitting the charger at least a good hour before I am ;)

iPhone take lot of battery if u use on 3G....

I just got a Galaxy S2 yesterday. Its an amazing phone but a bit more complex to use than my old blackberry BOLD. I have spent hrs today exploring it

Lol that's wat everybody do with their new phone...after a while it's boring...

I have an iPhone 4 now.
Main reason I was considering the razor is due to a larger screen, better camera, 4g Internet, and the droid has a ton of more free and fun apps.

iPhone is great when it comes to simplicity though.

Change ur iPhone for 4s...

Only for $100 more

I won't do that I'll get the latest out which would be razor for $200.

I mean I like the iPhone don't get me wrong but Siri I don't need and the other things are worthless to me to, it's pretty much the same phone.

I pulled up the AM site on the razor and it looked excellent.
Only thing I'm worried about now is if I buy the razor I'm sure my hotmail/yahoo/gmail will all work....
My nimbus nutrition email is pretty important and I would like that to work, between the AM app and my nimbus email I have to keep up.

You can also use that iphone 2G to force AT&T to give you the $30 unlimited plan, and better yet a $5 option for 200 text messages ($20 for text is a jack!!!) then upgrade back up to a modern phone.

But you also have to keep in mind, I can run a simple program on my laptop to pull out information that was erased from the memory.

Then save it in a chip or memory stick...there's lots of ways..only way u will lose from computer is by getting virus and then you have to restore ur computer to factory settings..

I meant if you sell your phone to someone, they can pull your erased data easily. In case you have personal pics of your wife and stuff...etc....

The hotmail/yahoo and gmail will all synch very easily. My SNS acct took a little more work and I had to enter all the info manually(incoming/outgoing servers, domain)

Nah not if u restore it..

Ive hard formatted hard drives before and pulled information out of them, movies, pictures. Its easy.

The stuff isnt excactly erased when you format memory...but are you saying resotring a iphone really deletes the info? In that case I didnt know.

Think I entered that on my iPhone as well...

It works ok, seem to get all my Nimbus mail and can send mail out as well. Plus
I use my phone as a modem to my laptop.
I almost purchased a tablet.
I think the 4g for my laptop would be better :)

Im not techy, hence my liking for the simple iPhone. I'll be anxious to see what the iPhone 5 will be all about whenever it comes out. I came from the Blackberry Bold this is obviously an improvement. Ive also heard 4G really drains the battery life much more than 3G.
