I am thinking about doing the switch....
Razor looks really inciting but I'm not 100 percent sure.
What are your thoughts?
RickRock13 said:I have the Razor (typing on it now actually). Way better than iPhone IMO. Bigger screen, slim design, longer battery, faster processor, 4G, gorilla glass face, etc....easy choice for me.
Yeah.
Do u have a case for the phone?
Isn't there and app as well where u can download free music for the razr/droid?
banthony22 said:There are tons of free music apps on the droid market.
banthony22 said:Well there is Pandora of course. I heart radio sucks don't get that. I dunno if it just sucks on android market or not, but it's horrible.
Then there is MP3 Music download pro and I have both that and pandora. There are a few others on there that you can search for in the market. They will have reviews and ratings. But I only need one so I don't know about them. The only thing to be careful about is that ads that go along with the apps sometimes, other than that I love the download pro!

T-AD said:I'm due for a new phone right now. Still rockin the original Moto Droid and I'll upgrade to an Android from that. I considered the iPhone, but only briefly. To me, the top contenders right now are the Razr and the Galaxy Nexus. (Assuming you're talking Verizon here.) I tinkered a bit with them both at the store last weeked. The Nexus is huge, but I wasn't sold on the physical design of it. Android 4.0 looked VERY nice on it, and I can't wait to upgrade to it from Froyo. The Razr feel solid, but very very light and super thin compared to what I am used to. It's not running 4.0 yet, but I'm sure that it'll be upgraded.
Upon reading, which I actually do a LOT when my fingers aren't typing here, the only real complaint of the Razr is short battery life. Don't know if anyone who has one can report on that, but I'd really like to hear some first-hand experience about it before I commit. Regardless, the Razr has a better camera and expandable memory, 2 big advantages for me over the Nexus. I'll end up with a Razr next month. Even if the battery thing is an issue, I already have chargers all around me, and I'll be picking up the battery kicker pack that they're selling at the store these days. The Razr Maxx is coming in February - sports a bigger battery. It'll probably be $299 knocking the Razr to $199, though it is already there now if you go to the Verizon's website. $199 for a "16GB Razr", in other words, $100 less because it doesn't ship with a memory card. But with 16GB internal memory, so what? lol
Anywho, definitely gonna follow this one for your decision and any reports before I go shopping. Good luck!

Actually i wasnt enjoying it.....i was just trying to learn its "basic" abilitiesLol that's wat everybody do with their new phone...after a while it's boring...
AaronJP1 said:I have an iPhone 4 now.
Main reason I was considering the razor is due to a larger screen, better camera, 4g Internet, and the droid has a ton of more free and fun apps.
iPhone is great when it comes to simplicity though.
Ok guys here's a trick about iPhone...I had the first iphone2 and I have iphone4s now...the trick is you can upgrade ur iPhone in ur contract just make sure ur warranty is still valid...ok iPhone gives you 1 year warranty...if you go to apple store and tell them that you having problems with ur iPhone 4 (like its get hot while charging or home button don't press) they will give ur refurbished one...after exchanging 2x then call apple customer service and tell them you already changed ur phone couple of times and tell them u just want a new one...they will give u a brand new phone with one year warranty again...
iPhone take lot of battery if u use on 3G....
ax1 said:You can also use that iphone 2G to force AT&T to give you the $30 unlimited plan, and better yet a $5 option for 200 text messages ($20 for text is a jack!!!) then upgrade back up to a modern phone.

Been I'm an otter box case probably get $250 for it easily...
Just so much info in this phone saved and pictures haha...
I don't want to give it up, make keep it for a bit until I see what that iPhone 5 looks like.
Bro restore it...save it in ur computer...
ax1 said:But you also have to keep in mind, I can run a simple program on my laptop to pull out information that was erased from the memory.
Then save it in a chip or memory stick...there's lots of ways..only way u will lose from computer is by getting virus and then you have to restore ur computer to factory settings..
ax1 said:I meant if you sell your phone to someone, they can pull your erased data easily. In case you have personal pics of your wife and stuff...etc....

The hotmail/yahoo and gmail will all synch very easily. My SNS acct took a little more work and I had to enter all the info manually(incoming/outgoing servers, domain)I won't do that I'll get the latest out which would be razor for $200.
I mean I like the iPhone don't get me wrong but Siri I don't need and the other things are worthless to me to, it's pretty much the same phone.
I pulled up the AM site on the razor and it looked excellent.
Only thing I'm worried about now is if I buy the razor I'm sure my hotmail/yahoo/gmail will all work....
My nimbus nutrition email is pretty important and I would like that to work, between the AM app and my nimbus email I have to keep up.
Nah not if u restore it..
