KLEEN'S Corner - Where the Cool Kidz Kick It!

I honestly expect 405 to take about a year but I won't be utterly shocked if I can pull it off before then. Yeah the shoulders and collar bones are going to be a major factor! 275 isn't a pleasant feeling and I am certain 315 will be worse 405 will be a mofo...

225 was rough but that's because my delts were wicked knotted from putting too much gear into them. I'm sure 405 is gonna feel like HELL.

I just remember 350 (not all the way down!) reeeeally hurt, for a few days bad. But at my hardcore gym there's old muscle mag posters all over, famous powerlifters, animal adds out of magazines, Mr. Os, etc, & there's this one I can never stop thinking of with this pro frontsquatting 495. The article talks about him doing it for a set of 5, and he's even ATG. It's nuts.

That poster always reminds me that humans are capable of some incredible stuff if you're willing to do what it takes & never give up. He got there the same way any of us would - 5lbs at a time, one workout after another over & over, patiently & persistently through struggle.

Yes Sir just looking for something that isn't going to flub up my lipids or liver values. As soon as we get some STR3NGTH in I will be running some of that until after the next blood pull then I start my methyls.

Quite the run, what 12-16 weeks total. It can be done with the right ingredients working for you.

Hey Chris did you get my email ? Looks like I am going to partner up with my buddy ... have our own gym :) I am ex-tactic.

Absolutely! I may go get some straps to keep it off my neck but we shall see how things go.

Yeah that is pretty bad ass!

This last one yeah it was 8 weeks of methyls and 4-5 weeks on non methyls. More than likely I am just going to look for a good product to free up test for this time frame and then use the STR3NGTH when it comes in which will give me some downtime from hormonals. Considering my recent bloodwork last time I am currently in pretty good condition so things are pretty wide open for me.

Congrats on the chance to live the dream! That is awesome brother!

Okay guys I told you my calories seemed to have caught up, I am a little softer in my stomach but I am pretty sure my back is leaner and I am looking huge at 208. Yep I settled in at 208 and that is 10 lbs heavier than my lowest point on this cycle. For gaining 10 lbs I really didn't lose much definition at all. This run isn't quite over plus I have my TRT levels climbing so I forsee some more good things to come. I just sent these to my coach and he will let me know if I we are making any adjustments or moving forward the same as we have been.

looks like you made some very nice lean gains. Getting nice and thick. Phenomenal progress.

I expect nothing less!!

Honestly very big differences. Your physique has absolutely transformed from when I first started following you (not more than 1.5yrs ago I'd say). Really at a very good compromise in terms of bf level vs sheer size - you're bringing a lot of mass to the table, easily filling out big tees, but your abs are still very visible. This is a really good 208 for you Kleen - can't believe it's likely only to get better!

You are rockin the lean look! Nice job brother!

Thanks! I am giving it a heck of a go!
Yep! Look good Chris! Awesome stuff homie.
Thanks Montana!

Thanks Hyde, I have to credit some of it to the Mountain Dog training, and weak point focus.
Dude looking very strong .... nice!
Thanks! I have been feeling very strong and moving some weight. Joints are complaining right now though so gonna back off the weight and focus on TUT or ROM manipulations and let the tendons catch up to the madness the muscles have thrown at them.
Looking good kleen. 208 lean looks good on you.

Thanks Luke! That dress looked good on you!!!!
You are rockin the lean look! Nice job brother!
Thanks Kenpo!!!!

Okay so I in my own fashion I continued the abuse on my body this weekend. Here is Fridays Arm workout and Sundays Chest and shoulders lift.

Arms Friday 4/18/14 Tempo was 1.5-0-1 on most lifts.

Dips = BWx25, +45x12, +90x10, +135x6, 135x6, 135x6 + 42 second hold halfway down on last rep drop set to BWx35
BEAST MODE BITCHES!!!!

Super Set
Seated DB Curls 25x30, 25x25, 25x18, 25x23

Close Grip Bench Press / JM Press - 135x15, 185x12, 185x9, 155x19, 135x23 Did these with a moderate tempo about 1.5-0-1 tempo

Super Set 2
Single Arm Triceps Extension - varying angles - 50x25, 50x25, 50x25, 50x25, 50x25, 50x15

Single Arm Cable Curls Varying Angles - 40x25, 40x25, 50x15, 50x15, 50x13, 50x12, 50x13 Biceps and triceps were both about to pop at this point major friggin pump!!!!

Super Set 3
EZ Bar Cable Tricpes Extension Varying Angles - 100x25, 120x15, 140x15, 160x15

EZBar Cable Curls Varying angles - 100x20, 120x15, 140x12, 140x12Talk about some grazy contractions. My arms were so full of blood there was only vascularity but no other detail at all...

Was a great lift and I measured up at 18.5 on both arms afterwards with the pump!!!!

Okay so on to yesterday. I will admit going into yesterday I was feeling some of the battle wounds of the last 2 weeks of high intensity training. So going into this i decided I was only going to go moderately heavy and only for one exercise but really I used the tempo to crush myself.

Chest and triceps still alittle thrashed from the heavy work on dips I started flat bench and immediately found myself having to give more effort to move the weight. Even 225 felt kind of heavy...

Flat Bench - 65x25, 95x20, 135x15, 155x10, 185x10, 225x5, 245x5, 245x5, 135x32 rp 135x15 rp 135x7 - could definitely feel the exhaustion in these but the RP sets at the end with 135 ended up brutal! :)

HS Super Incline / Shoulder Press - 45x15, 70x12, 70x12, 75x12, 80x12 - the squeeze at the end of this had my upper pecs and front delts screaming!

DB Side Raise Pulses - 40x30, 40x30, 40x30, 40x30 - holy burn from hell!

Smith Wide Grip Upright Rows - 65x25, 95x15, 115x12, 125x12, 135x12, 145x12 - medial and rear delt pump was just ridiculous!

6 ways 10lbs x 3 sets to failure

So another sign things are going well. Friday while I was working arms another body builder came up and complimented me on my shoulders and asked what i did to get them so bad ass and rounded. Hell Yes! Those are considered one of my weaker points and something I have been focusing more on for the past year. Awesome to hear this!!!!

I have one question....It's kinda been nagging at me.

You're working at bringing your BMR back up but also you are using one of the best nutrient repartitioning hormones in existence....isn't this a tad counter productive?

I would think that once it's gone your metabolic rate would slow back down quite a bit? Have you taken this into account?

Bodybuilder: " What do you do to make your shoulder so bad ass and rounded?"

Kleen: " I do enough volume to kill a normal man. If I survive...I grow"

Not really, 'I think" it is actually quite productive. Here is my reasoning... Certainly tren is known for it's ability to make use of carbs quite well and it also has a major fat burning effect on the fat cells. However it doesn't directly stimulate the metabolism. Believe it or not it actually slows the metabolism by dropping the circulating amount of T3 dramatically. Which is why it is so good at growing muscle it basically stops muscle catabolism in it's tracks. More so the metabolism increases indirectly via the body needing more calories to feed the new muscle and the extra recovery being stimulated by the tren. Using the Tren to help increase and set a baseline for my metabolism is going to be productive in that the changes should be controlled by my food intake. Certainly as my body begins to come off the Tren it will not use as much calories because i won't have the heightened growth and recovery happening but the baseline should only take a minor hit anyway but will be well above my old maintenance. On top of that my T3 levels should recover about 2 weeks out from when I stop using the Tren which should actually bring my metabolism back up a little bit via increased T3. Also explains why my TSH was in the middle of the upper range when I got it tested since the Tren is making it hard to increase T3 levels.

Basically though just like with cycling anything. You get the increases on cycle then lose some of them and keep the rest. A constant parade of 2 steps forward and one step back. So that is what I expect here. Plus I am almost done with this one and will have another bigger badder recomp / cut coming up in 6 weeks to get things in line and that one will have Trenavar at a much higher dose for the whole 6-8 weeks. Looking at about 180mg per day.

Damn, those were some killer workouts! I bet your arms looked like they were going to explode!

Oh they were just swole and the skin was so tight...

Got cha. Yeah the drop in t3 levels it's no bs either. Found that out with my last blood work :)

Yeah it is surprising that Tren is so good at leaning you out when it drops T3 levels so aggressively.

So what's the results if you're on tren and take t3 supplementation?

So what's the results if you're on tren and take t3 supplementation?

A lot of people take T3 while on Tren to offset that apparently there is also some correlation between T3 and prolactin levels too. When T3 gets low prolactin starts to go up. So some people run low doses of T3 during. Of course you could run them higher to improve the cuts but obviously the T3 would cut into gains if you run it higher.

Talked with Coach and made some changes. Cut 20g of fats out per day and added in 25 more grams of both carbs and protein to keep the calories about the same but change up the macros a bit. Will run this week out at that level and see how I look at the end of the week. If I don't add any fat then next week I will be adding 200 calories to my high carb days via 50g of carbs.

Todays targets are
325p, 200c, 90f = 2910 Calories

Workout and cardio days targets
325p, 275c, 90f = 3210 Calories

High day targets are
325p, 355c, 90f = 3510

High Day targets for next week if I can keep going up will be
325p, 405c, 90f for 3710 cals... I may not be able to make this jump until the week after just depends on my composition.

By the way while we are discussing Tren do you all know what it is about tren that makes it such a good nutrient partitioner?

IGF-1 that is why. Tren increases intramuscular IGF-1 levels dramatically and anyone who knows about IGF knows it is one f the best partitioners around. I mean the I in IGF stands for "insulin-like" explains why it is so good with carbs. It sucks them into the muscle like an Oreck on a bowling ball!

It makes you a Trenasaurus Rex too.

I'm Dr regimented t3 and it still dropped my levels surprisingly.

Also t4 was down

So is there anything that you can do specifically through PCT to help bring your T levels back up...or is it just something you have to wait for?

As Montana said iodine is supposed to help other than that it is really anectdotal but the reality is that your thyroid will be fully recovered within 2 weeks of a T3 cycle and should be the same or even faster recovering from the tren. Obviously the ester of the tren is a consideration too. T3 won't begin recovering until the Tren is gone or so low it doesn't matter. So if Tren E it will take longer to be back at normal but you shouldn't worry about it much. The iodine will help and other than that the recovery is quick and painless. Worst case take some stims first two weeks off while recovering more.

Also radio advice iodine treatments are how they kill thyroid glands in people with hyper thyroidism since iodine is processed by the thyroid.

How much t3 did the doc have you on, Montego? I was gonna use a low amount my first Tvar cycle, like 25mcg e/d or even eod, more to help offset levels than really drop bf. My prolactin knows no concept of "low".

Well I was diagnosed with low thyroid levels as a 13 year old so this is actually a REAL treatment. I'm on 175mcg a day.

I front squatted last night in the garage.

Front Squats - 45x25, 95x15, 135x10, 185x5, 225x5, 275x3, 295x2PR!!!!! - Pretty sure I had one more but no spotter and didn't feel my form was strong enough to push a grinder without one.

Finished off with 2 widow makers.
ATG Squats- 225x20 - was surprised how easy I was able to get through this with ATG squats.

rest 3 minutes
then
ATG Squats - 275x19 had to stop there my neck tightened up at the base of my skull and caused a crazy pressure head ache so I was afraid to go for the final rep. I know I had that last rep but I felt it was a safety issue.

I also got some of this on video so I will put it up later I didn't bring the handycam in today to take the video off. On most of the reps in the last 2 sets my hamstrings were on my calves before I came up out of the bottom. I felt like this was a strong and very intense workout just to get **** done. I made a deal to push to increase my front squats so you can bet you are going to see me pushing for more and more on here. I think it is a safe estimate that I can probably 1RM between 305-315 right now. I got a long way to go toward that 405 but man can you imagine the legs I will build along the way...

I've been implementing front squats a lot lately, really like em. Nice job with the pr for two kleen

Well done with the front squats!

Yeah you doubled my 10lb gain in fronts :-/. This may be ugly for me lol. I should relinquish the name beast.

At your experience level a PR is special! Nice job brother!

I'm more impressed by the 275x19, nevermind all the volume beforehand!!! I can frontsquat your numbers fosho, but no way could I backsquat that. I did a high-bar Oly squat ATG like that, hams on calves, for a set of 289x8 last week after all my low-bar power work, & it was hard as hell. Maybe 2 more reps in the tank, but no way could I have done 11 more. 275x19 ATG is sick.

Thanks and that is awesome too because your quads have blown up big time!!! That is what I am hoping for.
Well done with the front squats!
Thanks Hokie!

Congrats on the pr kleen! 4 plates a side for front squats is crazy strong!
Thanks but to be clear 405 is the goal not the PR I just set. I have a ways to go there.
Yeah you doubled my 10lb gain in fronts :-/. This may be ugly for me lol. I should relinquish the name beast.
I think you will do just fine and definitely no need to get rid of the name Beast. Can't take that away from you it is part of your genetic make up.
Psh...I can do 4 plates! Oh...per side? Nevermind.
LOL! I see 3 plates er side pretty soon but the 4 is going to take a little more work.
At your experience level a PR is special! Nice job brother!
Thanks but for this particular lift I have a lot of room for PR's since I have never really performed it more than a workout or two here and there. It used to really hurt so I just didn't do it but now I can without it being to painful so it is my focus.

Yeah I was really pleased with it. I have done 275x20 before but it was not after already doing a widow maker with 225. I really felt like my head was going to explode.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn't make it to the gym until later last night. I pushed what I could on back and tried to keep it light but my biceps tendon was just aching last night after the workout.

I got on the Free Motion Adjustable cable machine and did a lot of sets of single arm pull downs and rows to all different angles. Really concentrated on flexing my back and lats throughout the range of motion. The burn got pretty intense and the pump was sick! After that I did some high rep sets on the Hammer Strength Shrug and DB shrugs and called it a day.

I didn't get a chance to take the video off the camera. It recorded on the internal memory and I have to download a driver to get the video off since the camera isn't supported by newer versions of windows.

LOL! I see 3 plates er side pretty soon but the 4 is going to take a little more work.

3 plates is definitely on the near horizon! Just keep offering your wisdom and helping me improve as you have been...some day that 4th plate WILL be on there.

Yeah Montana it is gonna be good to get one in. Even if I have to get up early Sunday to do it. Now we just gotta figure out where to have the post workout feeding. I guess that would be brunch...

Oh boy..........I think I'll be on meal five......can't go crazy lol. Somewhere with chicken and vegetables and such...I'll suffer through your carb joy lol.
