KLEEN & QUEEN Get Lean with PX Black and a FINAFLEX PH Stack!

I'm pretty much 60/40 chx and chx sausage for my meats on my prep right now. I'm on a serious budget so I just ordered 80lbs organic chx off zaycon foods for 143.00 that's 1.79/lb. and I'm not familiar with where u love Kleen but winco has the best deals on Isernio's around here.

Come on bro, no sourcing allowed :nana: jp

80lbs, so you got about 2 months there, or 3?

Kleen you are a beast. A few pages late but meh :D

About how much time do you shoot for between each meal right now Kleen? Never tried a 4 meal split; I've been doing 5-7 meals daily for a long time now. Seems like 4 would work fine when not bulking tho. Im on that permabulk.
i'm there with ya on 5-7 meals daily - doesn't matter if i'm cutting, or not

I find myself using shakes again on workout days for convenince.
better cease and desist with that crap
at 10 weeks out at latest (usually more like 12 weeks) i eliminate all powders from diet

I can always count on Kleen droppings.....
say what

Good to know. I don't have a gag reflex so I can swallow anything. You need never choke it again...
Thanks for the info, but I think I will pass on that offer...
what in tarnation...............

@bean5er, I think I love you Man!
okay i am now officially jealous

a hellofa lot of mcnuggets!!!!
whodafuk is mick nugget?

Mick nugget! Lolz

I got faith in ya Kleen! Know what you're capable of, just put in the work and get er done!

What's the reasoning behind that ? Is it because whey is really dairy..?
real foods provide for better nutrients, fuller satiation, and more digestive output (the act of chewing not only produces enzymes which aid in digestion, but like digestion this process occurs by energy expenditure ie burns calories)
every little positive we can make work to our advantage during this prep time, i'm all over it

Haha yea my coach turned me onto it. I buy in the tubes. He said its the best chx sausage (macro wise) you can get. The red package (spicy) is the best. I buy it all though and funny thing is it tastes damn near like regular sausage not quite but really satisfying bud

Isernio's Italian chx sausage links are bomb as hell as well! Put them in a gluten free bun or wrap and its like a bratwurst bro. Fock I'm hungry lol

Thanks Man, I will go check out Zaycon foods too. I have been wanting to get some meat in bulk to save some money on it.

Oh yeah it is beginning to have some effect now too.

I learned a long time ago to chew even though I don't need to when having my protein shakes to get the enzymes released in my saliva. There are many schools of thought with the powders. Some people have no issues at all with powders, don't retain any water from them and really don't have to cut them out. Others hold water and can look a bit soft with them. Layne Norton basically says that if you have been able to use powders throughout your prep with no bloating or water retention there is no reason to stop using them. Now I know your school of thought is whole food only during the final stages of prep. You are a stickler when it comes to getting your whole food intake in. I find it very impressive however I don't know that it is the only way that works regardless of the fact that it definitely does work.

Yesterday was a good lift. I did a full body lift with some decent numbers for a cut. I took 4 Max Pump and 1 PX Black an hour or so before training then my pre workout about 30 minutes before the lift. I was on a truncated time schedule so I had to compress the full body workout into just 4 lifts on the 4 main body parts. I am contemplating going back to the gym and doing some arms and dead lifts but I think I will wait since I was already planned to do arms and shoulders tomorrow. I will say that I was pumped out the wazoo by the end of this workout. Just a full body pumps from head to toe.

Bench 135x12, 225x10, 235x10, 240x7 - not huge and far from my best but compared to what I benched last week I ended up 15lbs heavier for the same reps on my last set. Let' just say the strength gains are starting to show up.
Neutral Grip Wide Lat Pull Downs - 70x12, 150x12, 180x10, 200x8 - I have not done these in a while felt really good I may use them for my back width for a little bit.
Hammer Strength Shoulder Press weight per side - 55x12, 80x10, 100x10, 125x9 - Was pretty happy with this considering how my shoulder has been. Definitely an increase in strength here.
Leg Press Sled - 460x12, 620x12, 710x10, 800x12, this was a different machine than I have been lifting on so I cannot really compare the weights used.

Well even though this was truncated and not my normal equipment to lift on there is some obvious increases in strength. Again these are not absolute increases as in most I have lifted but I feel the effort was the same for using higher weights. On top of this I got on the scale today, since I look leaner and more vascular and I was 214.9 I was 214.8 last Sunday morning so the muscular increases seem to have begun. Weigh is only up 1/10 of a lb but I looked pumped most of the time and vascularity is increasing. My waist is getting smaller so things seem to be going very well. I have kept my calories at or under 2500 which surprisingly is my maintenance caloric level even with all this mass... So I expect fat loss and muscle gain. I am hoping the carbs increase my metabolism a bit. Would be nice to be able to eat 3000 calories without getting fat.

Sure will be happy if I get a surprise on my doorstep by Tuesday!

I know it was sent out. I think it was Thursday of last week so should be there soon. :)

Cleared!

I like the whole food idea though and who's to say it won't help me hold less water. With my history with dairy I think the powders should come out seems reasonable. It was only 3 shakes a week for me anyhow. I can make that up with some more tuna and chicken here and there.

sure, many .02s on powders during prep (just like anything else almost eh?) :D
well put, and i am not going to argue, except to state i lean on this side of the discussion position
i take no issue with protein shakes, good golly no..but even in times of regular life (ie not prep), i can tell personally that i am a bit smoother when shakes start taking up a disproportionate amount of my protein ingestion - and i don't roll with cheap concentrate either (mostly isolates, some blends, all good macro/micro construction)
and so - it is with this as well as other ppl's experience i have seen, that i solidly stand my ground on not using powders in prep
as you said - i'm a whole food kinda guy tho, so this reflects my position

Absolutely, I don't hold water from shakes at all. The driest I was during the prep for my show I was eating a lot of powders and my skin looked like granite. I definitely think there is benefit to getting as much as you can from whole foods. Now of course as I am leaning out where water becomes a noticeable property of my diet I will keep an eye, even do an experiment to see if I am any drier without the whey. I do think it has to do with the dairy in the powders for most people. Again when I get into the singles I may do a week without any powder and compare it to the weeks I use it just to see if there is even a minor difference for me.

Def agree Kleen the hardest thing for Americans to do is eliminating processed food. We just got a Publix and I hit them up this weekend for fresh fruit and organic veggies. Not to mention their meats are fresh haha

the best investment you can make is your own garden....that way you can be 100% sure of what you are getting.

the world is full of cheats, just calling it organic does not make it so!!! with the added cost of buying organic there is motivation for cheating, imo. it's become very hard to take anything at face value these days!!! sad but true!!!

Growing your own food can be a blessing but it seems a bit difficult sometimes due to soil problems or just not having that green thumb.

Yesterday morning I did 35 minutes fasted cardio on the elliptical and burned 514 calories. Here are the rest of my cals for the day.

Okay it is officially official! This stuff has kicked in and it is not just a placebo effect.

Lets start with the day I was doing really well on carb consumption and my macros were looking perfectly the way I wanted them to for me having a workout later in the day and wanting the bulk of my carbs around then. About 4:00 I had a protein shake then about 4:30 I took 1.5 scoops of ASGT, and I took my 4 MAX PUMP when I got home about and hour or so later. I hit the weights about 6:30-7:00 PM.

Last night for my arms and shoulder session I did something different. I took 30 lb dumbbells and did this as an exercise do a db curl up into an arnold press then from there into an overhead triceps extension back down in same arch as Arnolds then the negative part of the curl. That was one rep I started at 20 per set and did 10 sets, reps started dropping about the 3rd or 4rth set and the last 3-4 sets I was down to about 8 reps. It felt great! Well by halfway through this the pump I had was nothing less than phenomenal. I was HUGE, shoulders swollen, arms swollen, even my back and chest had a moderate pump.

Fast forward to this morning. I take my BCAA SAA,1-Alpha, Creatrona, pre workout, and MAX PUMP as soon as I woke up. Got dressed and ready and headed off to the gym for my leg workout.

Stair Mill 5 minutes 65 cals

Leg Press feet low and close together - 450x12, 630x12, 810x10, 900x10, 900x8 Last time I went to 9 plates it was only for the last set I went up in weight faster here and ended up doing 2 sets with the 900 which added a lot of overall volume!

FST-7 Leg Extensions - 170x10, 150x10, 150x8, 130x12, 130x9, 110x8, 110x8
- These burn ridiculously... Enuff said!

Romanian Dead Lift - 135x15, 225x12, 315x10, 365x2 didn't have any more with good form in me.

Seated leg Curl - 90x12, 90x10, 90x10, 90x9, 80x9, 80x8, 70x8 - Had a major burn after this and in the end I was walking like Frankenstein afraid to bend my knees...

I didn't work calves because I have the Warrior Dash this weekend and I don't want my calves sore for that...

With today being a leg day I am going to go ahead and have a little bit of extra calories today. maybe like 2700 or something.

I'd give you my calves to be able to do the weight you do on your leg days man killer beast mode!

Nice leg work Kleen!

I'd give you my calves to be able to do the weight you do on your leg days man killer beast mode!
THanks! Although, I don't need your calves though Tommy I have bulls of my own. Maybe not quite as big as yours but they work for me. ;)
Nice leg work Kleen!
Gracias Sir!
Pissed myself.
That's funny the guy in the squat rack next to me apparently sh!t himself. Talk about a case of rancid assidosis!
Well that sucks...
"Depends" is the answer to that statement and his problem... :)
Deer season is over. So no pissing on the hamhocks. Lmfao
You say things like this and wonder why we have not gone hunting with you. Why in the world would you piss on hamhocks?

So yesterday on top of my weight workout I went out and walked at 3.0mph for an hour burning about 300 cals. I ate a little heavier yesterday to help the metabolism a bit so I hit almost 2800 for the day. Plus leg day is a big day that needs more food for recovery. That and back days. I will be going on a walk at lunch again today. More than likely do some hill work so I should burn closer to 500 cals when I go.

Here are my eats from yesterday.

You make it sound as if that is common knowledge outside of the hunters.

If I ever have deer piss on me then something has gone horribly wrong.

my wife won't let me. you'd think she was a democrat the way she scowls at me every time I tell her I want a gun.

thankfully I have 3 uncles and a generous neighbor who are all hunters, so I pretty much always have venison in my freezer until spring time

I haven't hunted in years and years. Nothing against it just haven't bought a hunting / fishing license...

LMFAO... The only reason why that deer would go after her like that is She must have been on her period. Lots of hunters actually will use there wives or girlfriends used tampons as it attracts deer who are looking to breed. LMFAO

That was hilarious though. OMG The stuff you find..

I've heard Afghanistan has a good hunting season (year around).

I don't know if that is smoked sirloin, or brisket in your avi but "You're killing me smalls!" that stuff looks too good.

It's tritip marinated for 30 hours and cooked medium rare. 22 minutes each side.

Sounds great!

So I am going in to work chest shoulders and triceps today. I may just do that in my garage. Tomorrow I will work back and Biceps since Saturday I am going to do the Warrior Dash and won't have time for the gym. Going to start dosing my new bottle of MAX PUMP today so I have the benefits for muscular endurance on Saturday.

Let us know how the WARRIOR DASH goes. I hear its good times.
