Biked 21.4 miles today, Which I suppose is a new PR lol. 60minutes 21.4 miles.

Did some rotator cuff stuff with 15lb dbs, as well as forearm cable curls 3x failure @ 40lbs.

I have one of those squeezy grip deals, guess ill start using that all day too.

About to go to chow and steal more oatmeal

yeah rotator work is always important. I do it at least 1-2 x's per week minimum,.. wish i did it when i was younger

Sleep has been a huge part. Also seeing alot on recovery but that comes with improved sleep I guess.
 
Lets see 20 weeks X 4 hours per week X 7 KM per hour, no probably not there yet.. Ah but if I include the walking which is another 15 k per week... gets me closer to 1000 k... should be there soon...

I think it may be something else too. Day 1 of the 20 mile cardio was rough, day 2 of it sucked ass and I was sore as hell...but I woke up today and am not sore at all. I'll get slightly more in depth after the gym today.

HGHPro: Was sore as hell when I went to sleep, woke up in tip top shape. I have been having dreams lately too. I never have dreams! Most I lose when I wake up but a few I can remember. Anyways this stuff should be a staple for anyone, I plan on keeping it in a regular cycle for a long time.

ASGT: Added gatorade powder again...still not ideal. NO Ignite should be here in 2 or 3 days

My body building boss gave me some diet tips, and he is huge, so I listened. From now on my meals will look like this:

1x serving protein (chicken or fish)
1x serving comp carb (rice or pasta)
1x serving green veggie
2x v8
16oz milk box
This 4 times per day

4x hard boiled egg
2x bowl oatmeal
2x v8
16oz milk box
This one time per day

2x packets oatmeal dumped into 2x scoops nutrapro x1 post workout

Should I throw in another shake? Ordering some of that musclejuice with my order for the sale to try out, 1k cals per serving lol.

Here it is: I changed the order a little

Flat Bench: 120x15 - Felt great, not easy not quit in the middle hard
B.O. Row: 75x15 - Good
Dips: 15 - Easier than doing them right after bench
BB Curl: 20+bar x15 - was tough
Tri-Extension: 35x15 - don't feel that my tris are getting enough
Squat: 95x15 - Way to easy...gotta stick to the plan though
Deadlift: 110x15 - was tough
Calf Raise: 300x15 - Easy
Shrug: 75x15 - good

Some quick questions:
1- I am doing calf raises in the leg press where you can do each leg seperate, is there a better machine to to calf raises on?
2- I feel like my tris aren't getting enough, should I add another tri event or do them on my off days or just go with it? I'm doing forearm curls/rcuffs/cardio on offs now.
 
That's not always up to us, although we do often co-op for special savings.

I don't like to steal the spotlight! The one in the gym has the same face as cassi. Haven't seen her ina few days though. the one back home I am emailing a couple times a day is a twin, who's sister is named cassi, but its not your cassi lol. Little tiny girl named chantel, she seems like a very nice girl :) I am going to see if we can make some plans when I get home for leave ina couple months. Playing the get to know eachother game right now :) I'd take a pic of the one who looks like cassi but it would be way awkward with a camera in the gym lol.

Thanks mate! Plan on making this log fairly long, I may start a new one when the HST cycle is done though, if you really want to laugh go check out the muscletech thread...I've spit milk all over my govt comp lol.

Uh...I feel like the chow hall posted nutrition facts are COMPLETELY BOGUS. Breakdown from chow hall:

Oatmeal (per cup) 68 cal, 5g pro, 5g carb, 1g fat --- I had three
Egg (per 2) 266 cal, 30g pro, 33g carb, 15g fat --- I had 4 egg whites
Pineapple (per 2/3 cup) 200 cal, 2g pro, 19g carb, 7g fat - I had about this

These are legit:

box milk 45cal, 3.5g pro, 5 carb. --- I had 2

Just looked up egg white online...17 cals, 3.6g pro, .2g carb

I dunno. Is 98% of everything in an egg really in the yolk? I thought it was bad to eat egg yolks >< Also pineapple has no fat in it I'm pretty sure...even canned pineapple...oatmeal should have more carbs and more cals....WTF??? This meal stuffs me so much, I know it is more than 1k cals...need your opinions very badly, I may need to go whoop some ass at the chow hall.

Some of the numbers can't be right.. oatmeal has about 60 grams of carbs per cup dry... yah egg whites are almost pure protein, that's the point of eating mostly whites, I throw in a couple whole eggs.
 
I like calf raises on the smith machine if you can find something to stand on the edge of. There's a ****ty wood block i use at my gym...

That's what I thought, thanks for chimin in man :) I guess I will just eat as much as I can all the time and not worry about counting, since it's impossible...oh yeah, that oatmeal I counted yesterday had bana-nanas in it, and I saw nutrition facts for some plain oatmeal tonight, it says 98 cals...I think I am going to complain.

21.6 Miles today on the cycle, new PR, lol.
Also..I tried to do situps to failure to see how many I could do...and I quit at 200...got bored lol?
I don't know if that is a good gauge of progress, but before I came to iraq I could do about 75 and that was it, I'd say thats a good thing :D Now I just need to start doing more pushups and get to 100 or so max, and run my heart out on my next pt test and I'll get a 300 $$

She can hide it all she wants, she weighs about 105lbs I would bet. She was a tiny thing in HS. She was bragging about how she eats more than anyone else in her family lol. Wish I could eat more!

I'm pretty excited about her to be honest, hopefully things end up well and we meet up when I am on leave :) I'm only officially here for three more months though (trying to extend) so that's not long for a chick to wait as long as I am hot enough :D

Alright dudes. Here's the lowdown.

ASGT: I can't wait for NO Ignite to show up.

HGHPro: some douche kept screaming at his video games or something and I woke up about 5 times, that and explosions/CRAM guns kept going off.

Flat Bench: 125x15 - Good, felt the burn at the end
Dips: 15 - Hard, stopped for 25 seconds at 10 then finished
Chinup: 15 - little rough
B.O. Row: 80x15 - good
Deadlift: uh... 180x15 - I DL in kgs, and wasn't paying attention so instead of 30 total I put 30 on each side...was dying at 15, but I guess it means I'm getting stronger huh?
BB Curl: 25+bar x15 - was hard.
Tri-Extension: 40x15 - good
Squat: 100x15 - good
calf raise: 320x15 - good
shrug: 80x15 - good

Felt good today. I weighed in at 171, so it must have been just the super low weights that were making my bulking fail, I should start to see some weight gains now :D Only 2 more days of 15s left, I cannot wait to start 10s. So far I am liking this routine. I am def recomping quit a bit. Doing my cardio and extra exercises on my off days seems to be working well too!

forearm curls 3x15 at 50, then 15@60, 10@50, 10@40 until 10lbs.
 
Another thing that might hinder your gains is ... and it's only a possibility... that you may be overdoing the cardio a bit. I only advise a lot of cardio for endo types and I don't think that's your body type. If a non-endo tries to do a lot of cardio they may have trouble adding mass. I am a classic endo and even I will limit my cardio to around 3 hours a week in the off season. Plus HST already has a lot of recomp effect..
 
I have been thinking that. It ends up being 3 hours one week and 4 hours the next week and flips. I do have to figure out a way to get 1k miles before august though. I wonder if I can just stop the cardio for right now, and then hit it really hard later? I could do 1k in a month probably, 50mils per day. I dunno, its a pride thing on the cardio lol. Oh, ordered a tape and some fat gripz the other day :D

I would stay consistent and a steady pace. never know what is going to come up.
