Keeping Up With The Yates': A Couple's Training Log

Sunday lower body power...

Back squat
45x12x2 wu
65x12 wu
95x5
*Not pretty at all. I've got to get my confidence back in my legs, when I have a load on me. I'm using my back too much.*
85x5x2
85x4
*Got through these better with yates84 support & help.*

Leg press - bare sled
10x4

Deadlift
75x8x2
85x6x2

Leg extensions
40x8x4

Superset...
Lying leg curl/Seated calf raise
35x8x4/45×7x4

It was nice to do a full leg workout with a little more weight & good volume. I'll probably be sore tomorrow, but I welcome it.

I think we've all had an off day. We've been pretty much bums all day, after going to the gym. We never went hiking, but did get out for a little bit on the wagon with my Dad. The fresh, crisp, cool air was nice!! Nugget absolutely loved it...as always!!

Yay!!!!!!! Gainz on gainz on gainz!! ??

I'm waaaay more interested in the radarine results. It's 90:1 anabolic ratio makes it look perfect on paper for women.

Just looked up the Radarine, it does sound really exciting for women! Though there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on it on the interwebz, since it's so new? Looking forward to seeing YatesWifey04 results on it!

It is a really new compound. So, yeah, the amount of info on it (outside of personal experiences) is pretty minimal.

It might be too much for her to handle, we definitely don't want to over train. We will see how it goes and make adjustments as needed.
Doubtful with the Radar1ne and Osta in the mix. CNS could be an issue but I really doubt it.
Going to be crazy...
Should be pretty exciting.

Should be pretty exciting.

This is what I'm hoping for...with the help of the RAD & Osta I can handle it. However, I did not go to Insanity tonight. My off feeling carried over into today. So, I stayed home & cooked dinner & hung out with the family instead. I'm excited to see what the next few weeks hold!!!

I wonder how fast this will effect you compared to a male . I think everyone's excited to see this !

Very excited! She should see some significant progress over the next 8 weeks

Good Luck !!

By the way, I recommended to DreamWeaver to increase his vitamin intake because he was experiencing lethargy. He said that within 2 days his lethargy has improved a decent amount. So that is something to think about from the get go.

In your opinion do you think RAD is making people vitamin deficient, if so why is it doing this?

So, I guess I should start a daily multi again? I stopped a while back because I honestly felt like it was overkill for my body & it was flushing more than it was absorbing. I started hitting most of my vitamin needs via my diet, once I cleaned it up. The only vitamins I take now are Iron during that time of the month, & Vitamin C when I feel a cold coming on to knock it out.

Blah, vitamins. I have a cabinet full of vitamins that I won't touch.

I might start supplementing if I feel like I need to. I just checked my micros for the day, & the only 2 things I'm not well over my daily requirement for is potassium & Iron. I'm pretty sure dinner will cover those....considering what we are having.

Today was the first day doing GVT. I really liked it. I feel like it is going to challenge & really push me the further I get into it. I was just feeling the waters today. So, went lighter on the weight, looking back, than I probably could have. It was still a good workout though. Hit shoulders & back....

Seated Db Shoulder press - Tempo 4,0,1,0
12.5x10
12.5x10
12.5x10
12.5x10
12.5x10
12.5x10
12.5x9
12.5x8
12.5x8
12.5x8

Bb Bent Over Row - Tempo 4,0,1,0
40x10
40x10
40x10
40x10
40x10
40x10
40x9
40x8
40x9
40x8

Lateral raise - Tempo 4,0,1,0
5x10x4

Cable Wide Grip pull-down - Tempo 4,0,1,0
40x10x4

Keeping the tempo is going to be something I'm going to have to really focus on, but yates84 said that it didn't look bad at all today.

My legs were really sore yesterday (after power Sunday), but not much at all today. We'll, see how today treats me tomorrow!!

All that volume! I would freaking die!

Subbed! Keep Killin it you guys!

Tuesday back and shoulder hypertrophy

Bent over rows

Seated shoulder press

Pump was absolutely amazing today, I couldn't even work out in a full range of motion after my pull ups! Weight is still sitting steady but I'm about to finish this thing off strong.

I got GREAT PEE!!!!

I recommend extra Vitamins on RAD there are some good ones out there. Made a real difference no doubt I do think Chris was on the mark when he said that something in RAD is making us more vitamin deficient, I don't know why but you can see that it changes the color of your urine just like you do when you are expelling vitamins, as if you had a excess of Vitamin B or something. I am still a bit lethargic but I am also fighting off various viruses going around my house like the fuggin plague :(

Your house too!?

My grand kids keep bringing these home from school! (I never liked school)

Wednesday lower body hypertrophy

Squats
7×8 @ 235
1×5 @ 235

Leg press
3×15 @ 6 plates

Leg extensions
3×18 @ 120

Seated leg curls
4×12 @ 120

Smith machine calf raises
3×15 @ 315

Seated calf raises
3×12 @ 3 plates

Boosted up my calories another few hundred, would like to see 180 by the end of this. Strength continues to climb, squats felt like nothing at all until the 8th set. 4 hours after my workout and I still have a crazy pump going on, I know I look crazy the way I'm walking around work today. Let's keep this moving in the right direction!

Good stuff mike , how Ya feelin? Still nauseous ?

Nah, I'm good. Was some kind of bug I guess because I'm eating good now and feel fine as well.

In your opinion do you think RAD is making people vitamin deficient, if so why is it doing this?
Yes that is my opinion, but I have not done any research as to why. Just an observation that created that opinion, and was solidified by not getting lethargy when I took the vitamins, then it improving Dreamweavers lethargy. Since it is going away I didn't bother doing any more research to find the cause.

If you are on top of your diet via the micros then perhaps not. However if you notice lethargy spiking then yes I would think it was worth a shot. I like the veggie drink vitamins like organic greens with berries and stuff when I can afford it. Sounds like something you would be more interested in.

All that volume! I would freaking die!
Nah, remember you used to crush 30 sets of 20 reps and no death. ;)
We only absorb maybe 10% of a multi vitamin the rest we just pee out
Yeah, just depends on the type also.

Good deal!

I definitely prefer the drinks!! I'll keep an eye on how I feel & definitely up my vitamin intake if I feel a lull. That's definitely not the case today. I had a bit of a spacey euphoric feeling the past 2 days (since starting the RAD & Osta), but today I'm like the energizer bunny. I usually have a crash about an hour after I workout where I just kinda chill & hang with nugget on the couch for a bit. Not today. I've done laundry, cleaned the kitchen, & am to start on lunch & it's not even noon yet. Not sure if it's the RAD kicking this quick or just my body getting used to it. I don't miss that spaced out feeling though.

Joe, I agree with Mike. I think it was a bug because nugget & I have been having some symptoms as well. Just hasn't hit any of us really hard.. thankfully!

More than likely the ostarine giving you the energy. The Rad kicks in pretty much immediately though. You should notice after a couple days your muscles are more full if nothing else.

I was thinking maybe its a iron deficiency, I've been anemic so I'll be able to tell if it is.

I kind of doubt that, but could be. Most of us get tons of iron between protein sources and veggies. Plus several people were on gear when running theirs. That increases iron in the blood.
