Took a while to get this up...I've been frantically looking for all of the things we need for my daughter to take her permit! Can you believe my important papers are not in my "important paper spot"??? God is good though - we found them! He just wanted me to freak out a bit! Lol

Was running a bit behind this morning. Only had about 45 mins to train but had a great workout!

Quest bar, grilled chicken, sweet potato, spinach w/ balsamic vinegar, and fiber one bar. Made grilled chicken with homemade teriyaki sauce and broccoli for dinner.

Thank you! That was the first time I made my own teriyaki. It was actually very easy. My kids love ordering chicken teriyaki out so why not use leftover chicken and make them happy at the same time! Win win!!

Then we were slow at work so I took most of the morning off to take my daughter for her permit. She passed too! Afterwards I got to go home and nap until lunch. ?

I met an IFBB pro tonight and he asked if I compete. Lol, I smiled and said, "no." Then he said, "You know what you got? Great genetics! Continue to love your body and train hard. I want to see you on that stage! God Bless and be happy, enjoy life!!" ️ I told him thank you for the motivation, I needed it tonight! ��

So I've been craving salt like crazy, which is weird because when I cook I never add salt. I discovered this bad boy the other day and instead of eating something extremely salty, I just have a tiny pinch!

Really. I know there are one or 2 that I don't like but most I find tasty

It just tastes weird to me. It reminds me of MSG. My parents use to use it a lot when we were young. Like they're trying to bring out the tasteless flavor.

Same with me. When I use to use them, I would only buy the spicy one. I was not a fan of the chicken one either!

Have you ever had Himalayan Salt?
 
Yeah--my sister-in-law introduced it to us last year. Seems pretty legit. And the sodium count isn't as high as regular table salt either.

I think I tried it a long time ago. Reminds me of sea salt. :D

Him: Why is your back arched?
Me: Cuz I learned how to bench from powerlifters.
Him: Well, you're doing it wrong because you're not engaging your abs.
Me: Well, I'm engaging my traps, tris, keeping my core tight, and driving with my feet.
Him: Ahhh... I've never seen that before.


Failed at 150.
Him: Let me try.
Me: Ok.
He does one rep.
Me: Great job.
Him: Well, you should have been able to do it, too, since you're bigger than me and by a lotttttt.
Me: I just recovered from a shoulder injury and you're a guy, remember that.

Anyway, this is why I don't train with people. I don't mind the critique but when it's just sh*t talking, I don't want to hear it.

I did hit a 145x1 bench PR but failed at the 150. I was a bit too anxious.
