Good morning! Yesterday was a rest day but I went in an did conditioning and an work for about an hour! (Battle ropes/wall balls/jump rope) I'm wishing now that I would've done a different form of cardio yesterday! I think the battle ropes and wall balls fatigued my shoulders, making training difficult...I was able to push through all reps/sets except the last 3 sets of DB press.

Awesome shoulder day Katness! I will have to look up these destroyer sets I keep seeing people using. Hope your Friday goes well!!! I have another Friday night softball tourney. I weighed in yesterday 217 so makes 35 lbs in 10.5 weeks!

Well you did take a few free weeks to bring that average back up a little bit ago. However I think we can all agree you have made tons of progress. Your body is completely different. Keep in mind that while you may not have reached your ultimate cutting goal by not being over aggressive on the caloric restriction, you will be that much farther ahead of the game for next year. Keep a nice tight composition and increase those calories so you have less to lose next year and don't have to restrict calories as much.Well, from years of eating disorders, dieting, and my thyroid disorder i have really screwed my body up. I have a friend that is going to help me build my calories up and maintain for a while to allow my body to heal!

My goal is to maintain the muscle I've gained but loose the fat down to roughly 15-17%...Currently, just have a few more weeks of cutting left and then I will maintain for a while before trying again to loose the fat! After over 8 months of cutting and having very little success--actually gaining weight overall, I feel mentally and physically I need to stop cutting for a while.
Finally getting to swing in here and post my absolutely brutal workout!! It was awesome but pure torture!!!!! Lol

**rest were only supposed to be a min but from the first set I struggled with each rep! Breathing was better today but I had to actually pause, get a good breathe, and go again with each rep! Depth was not always there but I tried each rep.

You did some great work here! Sometimes the rest periods have to be extended a little, not to be able to finish the next set, but to even feel recovered enough to get back under the weight.
Geez, now that's some squat volume there! No extra curricular activity for you tonight...lol

I don't think things like this are to prove men wrong. I think it's more of an attention ("hey look at me" ) grabber. Period shaming doesn't happen nearly as much as people make it out to. Every person over the age of 5 knows women have periods. There are much bigger & more hygienic causes she could be representing/standing up for. I don't blame her for not wearing a tampon while running a marathon (uncomfortable), but that's what menstrual cups are for!! Someone should enlighten her!!!

What is this "period shaming" that she's talking about? Is she talking about if someone refers to us being in a bad mood, we must be on our periods? I've never been period shamed before so I have no clue why she did this. Just like you said, everyone knows that women have periods.
People shaming women if they happen to "leak" & get blood on them, people claiming it's not that big of a deal when women are on their period (cramps, bad mood, etc), if a women is moody she must be pms'ing, and anything else you can think of people are categorizing it as "period shaming". It's silly.
