Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

Lol. I'm quite the virgin when it comes to AM and anything bodybuilding. I just created this account. On Saturday.

Thanks. I've been reading a lot of logs on here and have learned a little more than what I thought I knew. My goals are to loose fat, build muscle and get lean. I am 33 y/o, 6'3", 284 lbs. I have no energy, always fatigued, and absolutely have lost most of my strength. I quit smoking 3 years ago (cold turkey). My biggest goal and number one reason is to be a better role model for my daughter and unborn son and to be in their lives for 50 more years at the minimum.

I was in the army for 7 years and lifted for about three of them. I went from 185lbs to 225lbs. Then I injured my back, got asthma and then gained 60 lbs.
 
Stimul8 is very powerful, too much for me. Everybody has different tolerances for stims and stimul8 crosses that line for some.

We have a employee that eats pizza at the fuggin gym !! I walk in yesterday and there are all kinds of fast good stuff in garbage and it smelled so bad I had to air the place out.

Thanks. And yes. I've noticed that there is a lot more info here than in Bodyspace from Bodybuilding.com. That was more like a MySpace for ppl who workout instead of a support forum.

I think it's because I took it so late. Sometimes I sip it like wine and 3 hours later.... bam! It's 7 pm! Lol

I love pizza but it dehydrates me sooooo bad!

Yah pizza can be fun but keep it out of the gym :( Yes the food hangover aspect is there as well.
 
Enough with the food porn :( I tweaked my back and can't train so I have to cut back on the cals. Less than 6 months out of the UFE Worlds so have to be on point from here on out. I will refeed now and then but will be more high carb.

Thanks it seems to be a slight pull in the gluteus minimus, should clear in a couple days. Things were going really well too. I just have to keep my diet in check and everything will be fine. I feel like a caged animal :( Can't be stupid though.

For the first 2 weeks I went from 250 to 234.5. this is my 3rd week and been btw 233 and 235. I know w/o counting cal's, I have dropped proablly around 800 to 1200 calories then normal intake. I'm at this point now, where I need figure what else to do, to drop at least 3 lbs a week now.

With out trying to make it sound to simple it al amounts to Calories Consumed and calories burned. I lose 85lbs 30 years ago and have keep it off, it is a battle everyday !! You can do it, you just have to want it!!

Some weeks you'll lose and some weeks you just want to give up. Don't be so hard on yourself when you only lose half a lb. a week. The goal is to never give up! You're doing great! :)

800-1200 is a huge caloric shift. It's no surprise things have suddenly stalled. Is this below your baseline metabolic rate?

You've been having tremendous progress. I agree that 800-1200 is a bit steep...I would do 500-600 and continue with your training and extra cardio like you have been! Are you counting your macros? If so, what are they like?

Happy Thursday! Yesterday was a rest day. I thoroughly enjoy the extra sleep! Muscles are still sore but they loosened up a bit once I got moving.

Had a great workout! Wore me smack out too! Was very close to explaining gym etiquette to a couple this morning ...as they did Db rows on the rack blocking the 10-60lb dbs.... I just had to walk away.
