Noticed a nasty bruise on my calf a day or two after my last calf training. It looks better today (~1 week later), but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t at least a little concerned about a partial tear.

Doesn’t really hurt, so might be fine, but it looks bad, and I can’t for the life of me think of what else could’ve caused it.

You get a charlie horse / cramp? My wife will sometimes get bruises like that from a charlie horse or calf cramp.
 
Nothing I can think of. And don’t remember a cramp or anything. Doesn’t really hurt to touch or flex, so I’m probably fine.

Maybe my dog stomped on my leg jumping on the bed one night? Not sure. I was more worried about it last week because it looked so bad and is so close to the insertion point for the calf, but I’m less worried today.

Might skip calves tomorrow just to be safe (plus, calf training sucks, that’s why they’re so small to begin with).

I lied anyway. Not training today. Couldn’t sleep last night and probably only got 3ish hours starting around 6:30 this morning. Just gonna try to suffer through bar prep and hope I can sleep tonight.

Honestly it’s not that bad usually. Just the crippling insomnia I deal with on occasion can make days like today not a lot of fun.

Insomnia is the worst thing in the world, I would rather deal with Pain !!

Feeling run down today. Got in and got something done, but cut it a bit short. Now it’s back to the bar exam.
 
I’m lucky because I get to deal with both
I have been pretty lucky lately, since the reduced my steroid mg's I sleep much better, but the lower back pain has increased 2 fold. I can deal with the pain !

Changed up the exercise order to do the sternal chest focus press first. I think that’s the weakest part of my physique, so I will do it first to hit it with the most effort I can.

I am going to grow some chesticles if it kills me.
 
Keep chasing the weak spots, in the long run you will have put together a good package !!

I had to get my suit retailored for graduation already. She let out the legs as far as they could be let out (and they’re still a bit tight tbh). And gave me like 2.5 inches of extra space around the chest/upper back.

Waist still fit fine for the pants, though.

So I feel like I’m doing alright there. It is gonna be a little expensive to get them all to fit again, though.

Pretty low energy today. No leg press. Gonna try to be productive tonight. Bar is in 6 days, so it’s crunch time now.
 
Leg day always takes it out of me. I end up so drained after that I can’t get anything done.

Not a huge fan of the Arsenal fly machine, but all the other options were taken, so we made do.
