Honestly not that bad since they’re done with a tempo, but that’s also maxing out the stack, so I either need to switch machines or drop it to later in the session.

Just prefer training the quads in the fully shortened position before doing exercises that don’t fully shorten them.

Guess I could also buy a gym pin, but not sure it would fit in that particular machine.
I’ve heard of guys doing 10 second holds at full extension. Adding an iso hold of any length could be used instead of more load.

I’ve done them like that before. Each rep already has a 2 second hold, but starting the set with the 10 second hold may help me continue to progress in some way. I will probably start this week and see how it goes.

Most of my sessions these days are around an hour or so. No real need to stay in the gym longer than that, I think. Bout to finish my cig and hit quads. Will let y’all know how close I get to dying.

Unfortunately.

Honestly bitched out at least 1 rep early on leg press. Looking back at it, I bet I coulda gotten one more rep to hit a PR for reps there, but the pain was unreal on the 7th rep, so I decided to not even take the negative.

I am imagine that was enough to stimulate progress for sure.

The cable extensions were on a new machine, and it felt way lighter than posted weight. But the dip machine is moving well. Actually, everything felt pretty solid today all things considered.

Haha, I was actually referring to how big the text was on just the triceps movements. :) That is one thing that is crazy with triceps extension machines. You just never seem to know what the ratio is on the pulleys. Most of the actual overhead triceps cable extension set ups are 1:1 making it much harder, but some are 2:1 which is just too light and the weights are so different it makes things hard to track if not always on the same device.

That would require talking to people in the gym. I try to avoid that if at all possible.
I seem to remember you being very talkative in the gym. Monte and I must bring out the best in you! ;) I haven't seen him around in years but on FB he is still house as a mofo!

Watching Kleen’s progress has made me think I should get a hormone panel this summer to see if TRT is a move I should be considering. Not really in a life situation where I would consider a blast and cruise regime but always happy to make better progress.

It is definitely worth it if you need it! If only they did GH replacement on insurance too. I might not still be falling apart like an old man then. LMAO!

Moved down to 5x a week just because I think it’s gonna be easier for me to manage in the last month before the bar exam. Gonna do a true chest day, a true back day, quads, shoulders and arms, hams.

Might take the full weekend off, might start working on a 6 day week schedule with one day off before picking back up at the start of the week, but it’ll depend on my workload and recovery.

I feel like GH would be a godsend for me because I think I have arthritis in my bum knee and ankle.
