informational speech on pro hormones and steroids

Hey guys, I am going to stat working on an informational speech about steroids and pro hormones sometime this week. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on things to bring up during the speech. Its going to be in front of my public speaking class. I think everyone should know the real facts of hormones and not all the bs that everyone hears about. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
 
lol are you prepared for everyone to look at you in a whole other way man? Everyones going to assume what you do.
 
Yeah, I would pick a different topic if you care about what the final grade may be.
 
What makes you think you are qualified to lecture on prohormones and steroid? What are you qualification, accreditation and experience?

And there is such a bias, even if you create a compelling argument your prof will think your an idiot as will that hot brunette in your class you are trying to "get the digits on" ....or whatever you wacky kids say these days.

just talk about that. show pics of liver tumors and barry bonds and how they are cheaters and how roids shrink ur privates and cause roid rage. i read a few years ago about a harvard doc testifying to congress that adolescent girls are using steroids now. they will eat that stuff up. be sure to site those studies in the past that show steroids dont work and give u fake muscles. training naturally is the only way. u will get an A+ for sure.

lol honestly most profs would rep you for going against the grain and debating something (to the main stream masses at least) is "bad / wrong / etc"

Yeah, don't overlook this.

I taught speech at a university and credibility is one of the things you're graded on. You'll have to come out at the beginning and say why they should listen to you. I won't say not to do this, but really think it through before you decide on it. If I were you, I'd narrow it way down from PHs and steroids and pick something specific, because what you've listed is a really broad subject that you'll never be able to adequately cover in the amount of time you're supposed to give a speech in.
 
it's official 9-11 year old girls are juicing.
and some high school gymnast took some roids, ate 3 steaks at once and gained 10lbs of muscle.

I would def pick a different approach to it, it'll be easier saying steroids are bad instead of saying steroids are good lol
Unless you've been studying Anabolic Pharmacology for like 3-4 years I don't think you should be giving a speech on it.
Just my 2 cents
 
Agreed I wouldnt do it. People would look at you differently(if that is something you care about). Wont find much "credible" information supporting your side.

Also like Midwest Beast said you wont have as much time as you think. I know my speech teacher took points off for being over or under. KILLED a few people's grade because they wouldnt STFU.
 
Who cares. I gave a speech on drug dealing in college. Did people think I was a drug dealer after that? Probably. Did I care? nope. Do they remember that speech? Probably not.
 
I say go for it. I highly recommend "Bigger, Faster, Stronger" as well. See if you can find some long term risks, damages that steroids do or don't do.
 
I'm doing my speech on women. How they kill, cause high blood pressure, damage your liver from excessive drinking to put up with their crap, cause your hair to fall out, make you lose your sex drive after initial use, and drain your bank account.

Hmm ????? Women or steroids, take your pick!!
