had another really good workout tonight -- legs tonight. my legs were feeling like rubber bands about midway through the routine, all's good though, i pushed through.

squats: 95x15(warmup), 135x10, 185x8, 205x8, 225x4 will increase weight next time
front squats: barx15(warmup), 65x10, 85x8, 105x8, 135x4 not sure if i like these yet or not...this was actually the first time i've ever done them.
leg presses: not sure how well the weights translate to other machines, i'll list them here for reference purposes: 160x15(warmup), 280x10, 340x10, 380x10, 420x10 will increase weight next time
leg curls: 36x20, 48x10, 60x8

standing calf raises: 110x10, 130x10, 150x10, 170x10

deadlift: 185x10, 205x10, 225x9 will increase reps next time
ab crunches: 3x10
 
went to a physical evaluation today.
Unfortunately I couldn't do any of the physical activities but they did take my vitals and a few other things....
Blood Pressure - Good
Resting Heart Rate - Good
According to the guy I am 6ft 1/4 but I have always been almost 6ft 2. So I either lost an inch or that guy is full of it
Weight completely dry: 207.5
but being completely dry messed up my bf% because it was the bioelectical impedance test and it tests muscle mass by the amount of water stored in your muscles.
They said my bf was 18.5% which would mean that I have lost 7.5 lbs of muscle since february and put on 6lbs of fat. I dont believe this but Ill post pics later and you can tell me what you think. He also put in my height as 6ft into the scanner sooo... that would account for this being messed up too.
I scored 3.5 inches higher on the sit and reach test though!
 
basically, the guy who was testing you was trying to send you a message: that you're fat. really fat. obese even. haha j/k, glad you're feeling better bud.

More on my medical position:
Doctor called today to check up. He let me know that I have multiple polyps in my sinus passageways as well as a chronic sinus infection. He says this will take months for it to heal. That's no biggie though because I am feeling better day by day. He is however still looking for the original cause of the headache still so he wants me to go get an ultrasound of my heart to be sure that it is working and pumping blood properly. If all goes well after this test, I will be back in the gym.
 
Good luck on the ultra sound, let us know if it's a boy or a girl!!! :borladuck:
 
it is definitely lame. I am getting fed up of being banned from the weight room until I get a clean bill of health. I just want to lift.

so last night was shoulders and arms night, but i gotta say that my legs and chest are still DOM'd up from the previous two lifts.

behind the neck BB presses: done on the smith machine, will list weight added to the side: 20x15(warmup), 40x10, 60x8, 70x8, 80x6, will increase reps the next time
db side lateral raises: 15x8, 17.5x8, 20x8, 22.5x8, will increase weight next time
bent-over db laterals: 15x8, 17.5x8, 20x7
db shrugs: 45x10, 60x10, 75x10 will increase weight next time

standing ez bar curls: 35x15, 45x10, 55x8, 65x6, 75x4, will increase reps next time
incline db curls: 20x8, 25x8, 30x8, increase reps next time
db conc curls: 20x8, 22.5x8, 25x8, increase reps next time
lying tri ext: 45x15, 55x10, 65x6, 65x6 increase reps next time
tricep cable pressdowns: 35x8, 50x8, 57.5x6, increase reps next time

Keep ya head up bud. Just be patient. You'll get back to being in good health in no time. You just have to stay positive and optimistic. If you really want to be active...do different forms of pushups, some planks, or go running. Hope ya get better soon bud.

Thanks bud. Im gonna try to get some pushups out tonight. The Dr. doesnt want to prescribe anything for my sinus infection because he thinks the symptoms arent severe enough for antibiotics but I emailed him today telling him other wise. As I was in my Kinesiology class this morning I belted out some pull ups.

back into the gym. took a sample of white flood before going to the gym today. will offer some comments on that.

the workout: chest / back
flat bench: 135x15, 155x9, 165x6, 170x6, 185x3.5
cable flies: (different cabling system here, so different weights) x8, x6, x8
lat pulldowns: 90x10, 120x10
SS behind neck lat pulldowns: 105x10, 140x7 (reps up)
cable rows: 90x10, 105x8, 120x6, 140x5 (reps up)
incline bench: 95x15, 115x10, 125x8, 135x6, 150x3.75 (reps up)
close grip pullups: bwx10, x10, x10, x8 (reps up)
db pullovers: 35x15, 50x13, 55x10 (reps up)
bent over cable rows: 30x15, 50x10, 65x10, 80x10, 95x10

well i'm not sure what to say about the sample of white flood that i took. i think it started to kick in throughout the middle of the workout, right around incline bench. i felt really puny during flat bench and cable flies, and a little better during the lat pulldowns. i think, based on what little exposure i had to it, that i would probably like to run it in the future.
 
White flood is good stuff...how long before your workout did you take it?

I have been on antibiotics since Friday. I have gotten in 2 full upper body workouts in but I have been going light and high reps just to stay active. Nothing serious.
I got a second opinion from my personal Dr as opposed to the one on campus. She said that there isn't anything to be worried about and she believes this all stemmed from my sinus infection but just to be safe she ordered a cardiogram (ultra sound of the heart) for this coming monday. I am feeling better as each day goes by and my workout last night felt great.
After Monday I will know if I have a clean bill of health or not but my doctor made it clear that she thinks there is no need for the test to be done but because my 1st doctor ordered it she told me to go through with it.

I am halfway through my 10 day run of Amoxicillin. 875 mg twice a day. So on Monday I am hoping that I am 100% so I can get back into throwing heavy weights around.

i took it about 40 minutes before i started lifting, took it with a full blender bottle of gatorade.

I would take it with water or bcaas...the sugar may interfere with some of WF's effects.

Meh. I doubt it. Which ingredients do you think it would interact with? There are so many pre-wo products with some of the same ingredients that have added dextrose and stuff. I can't see it being a problem.

Thanks for the input guys. I think that if / when I run White Flood, i'll just take it with water to avoid any possible problems with ingredients interfering with each other.

gonna pick up some bands soon and start training with bands. Should be a nice change of pace.

so metroba wants me to get out of my comfort zone and do some high rep scheme work soo..... Im giving it a shot.
I have a new routine for chest/tris and back/bis that Ill be doing for a little while.

Nothing major just 275 x5. Not bad for not squatting in a month. Ill post it up later.
