I Think He's Going To Explode!!! Punthra's Two Month Bulk On The Swole Stack......

Just caught up with your log Jason and wanted to say that my prayers are going out to you and your wife.

This will be my last update for a few weeks....My wife had to be medevac to Vancouver so i will not be training until she pulls through. To my sponsors, i'm sorry and i promise to get back to logging as soon as she pulls through.

Hope to be back on here soon with good news!

Jason

Man, dont even worry about it.

Take care of her first, and we'll be here when you get back. Dont rush back either.

Give her our best wishes, and you'll be in my thoughts.

We'll catch you when you are back P. You and your wife are in my prayers as well.

Blessings to you and yours Bro! I pray she recovers quickly and completely... You are both in my prayers.

My wife is out of the hospital and we are heading home tomorrow. I plan to spend the rest of the week getting her comfortable and then head back to the gym on monday. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers! AI, i still owe you one hell of log so i'll get that up and running starting monday. It's still going to be a long haul for us but at least she's out of the hospital and ready to fight disease at home with friends and family!

Thank god bro that is awesome news. If you need more time before logging please take it. A log can be done anytime. Your wife is the most important thing.:)

I was just going to post in here more good wishes and send you a little brotherly love. Awesome that she is coming home, really a blessing.

Glad to hear things are turning for the better.

The log is not important; take care of your wife as needed :D

Thanks everyone! It is time to head back to the gym so that i can start dealing with my stress and start looking after myself a little better. My wife is still going to need my help but she is well enough to let me have an hour to keep my sanity. It is going to be real long haul for her complete recovery both physically and mentally so i need to start looking after myself so i'm able to help her recover.

That is right and she is a good woman to send you off. It is amazing what working out can do for your outlook on life. Keep your head up and smash those weights like you are angry at them.

Great to have you back bro.:)

Just got back from some anger therapy in the gym....Felt great but strength definitely wasn't there! My wife suggested that it was time to start looking after my self so back to the gym i went. I only leave her for a short period of time but it was good to finally start dealing with my stress in a positive way.

Back & Traps

Close Grip Pulldowns 200x10 240x8 280x5 160x15

Deadlifts 135x10 225x10 315x10

Dumbbell Rows 80x10 100x10 120x8

Rope Pullovers (FST-7) 115x10 105x10 95x10 85x10 75x10 (only did 5 sets due to being tired)

Dumbbell Shrugs 100x10 110x10 120x10

Notes:
- not bad but definitely have some serious work to do
- actually feel calmer than i have felt in a long time

My stack right now is:
TestoPro
GlycoBol
Stoked
Maniac
Multivitamin
Glucosamine and Chondroitin

Will also be trying beta supps along the way....Libido booster and energy supp. For everyones FYI Danica is doing much better but it is still going to take some time to get her back to normal. Medication is pretty heavy duty and has lost a ton of muscle during her coma so we will have to take things slowly. She will get better so thanks for all the support!

Awesome that she will get better. Your strength will come back fairly quick with the way you workout!!!

I will also be postponing when i plan on getting on stage until November 14th due to needing to get finances in order again, looking after danica, and all around need to adjust to life changes that we need. I have a target date which is distant enough that i should be able put the weight i lost on, try a trial diet, and then bulk again before starting my actual diet. Life has a funny way of throwing curve balls at you but if my wife can stay positive so can i. She is my both my inspiration and motivation to succeed come November! The one thing i can tell all of you is enjoy the time you have with your loved ones cause you never know when something can happen!

Couldn't have said that any better. Cool the postponement gives us even more stuff to look forward to on the way to the show.

Nice looking plan bro.:)

Thumbs Up Reverse Grip Barbell Curls 80x10 / 90x10 / 100x10

Strength: 7/10 - Wasn't really expecting much today though due to it being the first week back

Stamina 8/10 - Got through the workout quite well today.

Pumps 9/10 - The effects of maniac started off really slow but by the second exercise i was feeling full and vascular! The pump for my biceps was absolutely incredible today!

Energy: 9/10 - I've felt great all day today just as i did last month on the swole stack. The biggest thing i noticed was how focused i was in the gym after taking maniac. There was no signifigant drop in energy after workout which really impressed me

Mood: 8/10 - Felt pretty good but still having to deal with stress so it's not as good as it could be, but definitely got fired up to smash it at the gym!

Overall: It was a great day in the gym just because it's so nice to be back in there giving it my all. I know i've lost some strength but i know i'll have it back in no time! First impression of Maniac is that it seems to work well and it tastes pretty good to boot.
The real effects of the swole stack will be noticed in a few days so expect more interesting reviews to come.

Sounds good bro. I am sure in no time we will be seeing the jaw dropping numbers again.:)

Great looking program Bro let's see you take it to another level.

Switched order of week and i'll be doing shoulders in a hour or so!

Shoulders / Triceps

Barbell Military Presses 135x12 / 165x10 / 185x8 / 205x6

Standing Cable Rear Laterals 35x10 / 45x10 / 55x10

Dumbbell Laterals (FST-5) 35x10 / 30x10 / 25x10 / 20x10 / 15x10

Cable Pressdowns (FST-5) 205x10 / 175x10 / 145x10 / 115x10 / 85x10

Strength: Was quite happy with my strength today as i haven't lost a ton of strength on shoulders or triceps.

Stamina: Was quite good today actually, but i got a little tired near the end of the workout as i'm still getting back into the groove.

Pumps: The pumps were absolutely awesome today! Both my shoulders and triceps fill up like balloons today.

Energy: My energy in the gym today was very high. Went into each set wanting push it harder and harder.

Mood: My mood has been great today and my focus on the weights when i hit the gym today was intense. Really trying to channel my fustrations out on the weights as it seems to help me deal with stress quite well.
*will save ratings for each until the middle of the cycle and the end

Overall: I thought todays workout was a good step in the right direction for me. Really enjoying the pumps from Maniac! Can't wait to get into a rhythm so i can see whether i can blast past some numbers.

See it's coming back already... I know if I hadn't trained in a couple weeks I would be frustrated at having to miss the time but when you see somebody else go through it and you get the proper prospective and that is it will be back to where it was in no time and you would have lost almost nothing in the big picture..

Yeah you will be back up to snuff in another week or two like you didn't miss a thing. Your body and joints are probably recovered quite a bit from having laid off you should be golden Bro!

Workout plan went off track yesterday but i had an amazing workout so who cares!

Review

Strength: Was quite happy with my strength on front squats except my core stability was a little off today. Overall strength on legs today was pretty good.

Stamina: Was absolutely great today....I was even able to push through that lovely lactic acid burn quite well on my hamstring supersets.

Pump: Pretty good actually but nothing to crazy like shoulders and triceps the other day.

Energy: This is one area where i noticed a huge difference! I felt like i could keep going and going throughout the entire workout.

Mood: I was in an excellent mood yesterday. I've felt confident and strong the entire day.

Overall: It was a good day overall!

Man I don't get any lactic acid burns anymore. I guess so many years of stripsets my body is really good at clearing it out. I just reach the point the the muscle no longer complies with my efforts to move the weight. No real burn anymore it is weird because I kind of miss it now. I know weird eh...

The only thing that burns on me is calves but I don't think it's lactic acid... I think after as certain point most people stop having them...

I guess i'm the only one in here who still gets that burn....Lucky Me, LOL! Kleen you were definitely right about recovered i feel. My joints don't hurt and the aches and pains seem to be completely gone. It's actually the best i've felt in a long time, except the mental side as there is still so much going on. The gym has become a place of refuge to release stress!

That's the place for that!! In todays society of political correctness and cordial behaviour, the alpha male is somewhat out of place. The gym is our refuge our place of solace where we can recapture our feeling of dominance. Domination is a natural instinct and this is one of the few places society permits us to sooth our angst!!

Yes and this is why I would love to find a hard core spot around here. That or get lucky and find more weights for my garage gym cheap on Craigslist it is about to woarm up to where it is fun in there...

Yah my gym is not hardcore but it's cheap and has excellent equipment and I bring the hard core with me from home!! lol It's a school gym so nobody bothers me about my intensity. I have been asked to keep it down in some public commercial gyms, seems I was scaring off perspective clients. Happened to me at 3 different gyms. I do miss my buddy's dungeon back in Ottawa, he set it up in his basement and was only room for about 8 of us tops but the hardcare metal was screeching and the atmosphere was fearce...

Just how I like it!

LOL, my sister was complaining to me over the phone about how cold Houston is right now. Glad to be in a place that only has 2 seasons. :D

Man, I feel real lucky right now! I've got a gym that has a hardcore group of people, tons of weight, and great equipment.

Oh yeah! One of my gyms doesn't say anything about grunting, or yelling and you can use chalk too. Not too bad but I only get to go there on some weekends.

Chest / Biceps

Incline Dumbbell Presses 80x10 / 100x8 / 120x6 w/ dropset 60x12

Flat Barbell Presses 135x10 / 185x10 / 235x7 (Strength was not great on this at all)

Pec Deck (FST-5) 285x10 / 255x10 / 225x10 / 195x10 / 165x10

Barbell Curls 70x10 / 90x10 / 110x7 w/ dropset 50x12

Strength: My strength is definitely coming back but my stabilizers are definitely holding me back. Way to wobbly!

Stamina: It was a great workout stamina wise!

Pump: My chest pump was not that great yesterday, but my biceps pump was absolutely incredible and painful!:head:

Energy: The Maniac worked amazing yesterday for helping me get up and running after a long stressful day. I was mentally beat but it seemed to keep me going!

Mood: My mood was absolutely great considering i spent the day in the hospital and worked at night. I've actually felt fairly calm except for a few minor flareups of anger with stupid people.

Overall: I had a good workout yesterday, it relieved some stress and my strength is slowly coming back.
