Here for your eyes is about 8 months of dieting. It has been quite a road. I'd always thought I was big-boned, but as the fat started to drop, these little wrists and bones started to appear. Turns out I'm just your average Joe..I have played the yo-yo game of losing muscle and fat for about 4 years and I think this time I actually did a fairly good job. I did not use PH/AAS (altho it was damn tempting) and probably won't ever again. I used green tea everyday and caffeine every now and then when I needed a boost in the gym. THATS IT

Stats:
5'11
175 lbs, 31.25 inch waist
I'm probably somewhere around 10%. I could have dieted down more, but it would have probably required another break, and to be honest, I just couldn't take it anymore. I have not eaten out in a restaurant in 6 months. It has been really hard on myself, my girlfriend (the best), and my family.

No matter what you guys say about my skinny-ass, I'm happy b/c as the title says, I gave this everything I had...excuse me while I go out for cheesecake.

Bobo

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Bobo for his plan. I was with him from Septemberish to December (notice the difference between the September 22 and November 15 pics). The best part of his programs is that you really see why people struggle to get any type of results...B/C doing things the right way IS NOT EASY! Anybody that it unsure about whether or not to sign up with Bobo, hopefully here is a little push in the right direction.

Well here is the finished product..I tried my best.
I think this pic is the best one to show off the rewards of your hard work. It deff showcases a great degree of muscularity on your part!

I just want to join these guys in giving you congrats on a job well done. I know it was a struggle for you, but you deff came out on top, and as frustrating as much of the experience was I bet you learned a sh!tload about not only the bodybuilding game, but your own body as well.

Also, to all you thinking of signing up with with Bobo, you can make as big of changes to your body as DieTrying has, supply the willpower and determination and Bobo will help you get there!

Its funny...I went from thinking about getting into competeting to having a professional photographer do photos for me to having my GF take pics of me in my bathroom  . I don't know if you guys can tell, but I did go through a whole precontest week (distilled water, etc.) for these photos. I've been told before that I hold a lot of water.

Great job bro, I too want to get Bobo's plan and have wanted to work with him for a long time but every time I get a little extra cash around something pop's up. I best get some more over time quick as summer is approaching and I'd love to be as cut as you for summer!

Wow, you're looking seriously ripped man. You should apply for a hydroxycut ad with that kind of transformation.

Are you gonna go with Bobo again for the bulk?

Going on my own. My main thing is staying lean and taking things slowly. Unlike the past, I'm not willing to eat my face off. I'm gonna try to put on mass slowly. In all honesty, if I can put on 1lb of LBM per month, I'll look pretty damn good 3 years from now at 25. But from here on out I'm gonna be very anal about measuring my waist.

Wish I had that 1 lb a month plan at 22......I'd be utterly huge by now. For some reason tho, I still haven't realized that getting big is a marathon not a sprint  .

What a great attitude, and you're only 22! ****, I'm 36 and I've just started to figure out what you already know at 22. In a world of instant gratification it's hard to have that kind of discipline. Keep up the great work, that's an incredible transformation. It just goes to show what you can accomplish if you put a solid effort into the right things at the right time.

Bah...

Don't need any of that at all.

Want to keep the fat off? Eat right. If someone thinks a supplement is going to keep the fat off even while they eat incorrectly, they are nuts.

Thanx guys!

As for the supps, no thanx. As Bobo stated (and proved to me), there is no magic supp to keep you lean when eating an abundance of calories. Actually if most board sponsors knew how I felt about MOST supplements they'd probably try to have me banned from the board.

I have some CEE and NO-Xplode laying around that I may give a try in a few months, but other than protein powder, thats all I'm gonna use.

I think what Bobo is saying is that supps are beneficial but not mandatory...you can't substitute hard work and discipline in the realms of diet and exercise to achieve the results DT accomplished...but you didn't hear that from me :run:

No it is not. Your original comment smited my reccomendation of sesathin and GXR to help on a lean bulk. Of course no supp is worth a **** if your diet is not on point (hence my "this goes without saying), but that is a given, as is the fact that a bulk is not going to do much if training AND diet are both on point. Any subsequent reccomendation on supps is therefore implicitly stating (Given a proper diet and training) Supps X and Y will help with your goals. And after your "bah" of my suggestion, I was just curious as to why you would allow sponsors (as this is a tacit suggestion of their use) that sold supps which are "worthless".

Unless your casual dismissal of my reccomendation was meant in a different light...Dim

So we are supposed to read your mind when it comes to diet? We assume diet and traiing are a given? If that were the case he wouldn't need a supplements to curb fat gain. Its a pointless recommendation when the problem is fixed with diet.

Nobody said supplements are worthless. Where did you see this stated?

Fat gain is purely diet related. Telling someone they should go buy 2 supplements when the problem is purely diet related is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is your sponsor statement.

"I suggest DS GXR, and AL Sesathin to keep the fat off on bulk."

Wrong. Fix your diet. Telling someone to use a supplement isn't fixing the problem, its prolonging it and costing them money. When the diet is down then they can spend their money on supplements that could possible help further increase gains or fat loss (something food won't do)

I KNOW for a fact how Bobo feels about supps and I completely agree with him- they have their place, but they never make or break anybody's progress. When a client signs on with Bobo, he strongly recommends that they don't use any supplements ...what does that say?

From the change in the pictures I saw, this guy has got his diet solid, or maybe he "just has good genetics". The reccomendations I gave were to HIM,which is why I frased it as such. I assume that your (BOBO) training and diet are ON given the picture in your avatar, and I believe I am correct. Now, that is not to say his diet is perfect, and I'm sure he will benefit from your tutelage, but I say he would benefit from supps. Yes I am assuming his diet is on (at least enough to be at a point where supps are useful).

I agree with you, by the way, that most people waste time/money on supps when they are not doing their due dilligence as far as food and diet goes. Once those details are in order, the small difference that supps make can make, make a huge difference mentally, such as dropping the last few pounds of fat, or pushing for a new strength goal and being at a plateau.

State of mind is of the utmost importance when it comes to anything in life. I find that when I get a new supp, it can often give me a little mental boost when the going gets tough.

I don't understand why you are so angry with me Bobo, I am merely defending my advice that you dismissed with a bah, I was being no more rude to you than you were to me, and I really didn't mean anything by my comment about sponsors outside of the fact that you must believe that supps have some merit. I like your site, and am interested in signing up for some nutritional advice from you when you have a space for a new client. Can't we just all get along?...Dim

His diet was on because I gave him the diet. He trained under me but he is NOT right now and has gone about it on his own (which is a main function of my programs)

"Once those details are in order, the small difference that supps make can make a huge difference mentally, such as dropping the last few pounds of fat, or pushing for a new strength goal and being at a plateau."

That quote I agree with but the simple fact is that fat gain during a bulk is diet related and if he is gaining fat during a bulk the problem is his diet, not his supplement use. Fix the problem first, don't prolong it. Using supplements to fix a diet related problem (by increasgin energy expenditure) is a waste of money. It simply does not make sense.

One comment you made should make DT feeld good.

"or maybe he "just has good genetics".

That is the exact opposite of what he thought before he started.
