What brand did you buy for Arjuna? Was looking at some on Amazon, then felt like I’d seen it in your log so came back in here for feedback!

Himalaya. Their liv52 was always good, stateside or the Indian formulation, so I trusted them - I am not disappointed in quality of packaging or first impressions. The Arjuna pressed tabs are soft and brown and very much appear to be a mix of bark and extracts as advertised. One bottle is a 2 month supply of the recommended one tab per day. Some guys may take 2 but I’m looking at it more from a longterm health aid.

So I’ve been fasting since before 9pm on Wednesday...40 hours now, only stims, water and electrolytes. I plan on eating before too long today, got a big taco turkey salad packed, but I may yet go a bit longer. Did some fasted LISS this morning while Jessica deadlift. Bodyweight was 221.8.
 
Had pizza with good friends last night but cut off food by 7 so calories stayed within ~3k (best guess). Woke up at 220.6 this morning somehow!

Bloods drawn this morning. 1,750 calories of very quality nutrition in me - time to squat!

Wore a neoprene belt for the last set only. I was wiped after the all-out set, even after waiting 15 minutes to see if I could recover, so I left. I don’t doubt the effectiveness though - legs were sore everywhere within a few hours!
 
Hyde I’m in here trying to catch up.. Was the Osta worth running? I’ve been sitting on one for 2 years and am always afraid to run it between cycles since reports of elevated liver enzymes here and there.

Yes. Reason I asked is, it’s an Ayurvedic herb being used in India since ages in villages (mostly) for heart issues like continuos chest pain, irregular heart beat etc.. was just wondering the reason for use.

I should be getting results from bloodwork Monday I expect - will update you ASAP. I actually dropped the 5mg I was taking Thursday as I expect it to be suppressive at least (and I’m out of the brace completely now), but if my LH, TT, & liver values come back good enough I may get back on - I do indeed feel like it has helped maintain a better composition at least slightly.

Yep, cardiovascular & BP support. If you’re going to run gear I figure you owe it to yourself to do all you can to mitigate damage however you can, and Arjuna at least seems promising enough to try. I’d like to make it to my 70s, and longevity doesn’t run in the family.

Much better session today. Carbed up yesterday, and starting off with the dynamic work alternating with the fiancé for sets (she was back squatting it for doubles) helped kick things off with some good intensity. Really glad to frontsquat again. The legpress set got real, and so did the calf murder.

Still waiting on blood results.
 
That pressing strength will come back up in no time man. You just havent lifted with a "heavy" effort intent on upper body in a while. Dont trip.

Calves suck just as bad as curls. Dunno about you but mine stay sore for ages because i never work them.

Yeah you’re right - it’s nearly impossible for me to stabilize any db heavier than a 10RM. Going heavier than that it just goes to crap because there’s nothing to counterbalance. I don’t think I’ve been able to press over a 90lb Db in any fashion since the injury. Rowing my right arm still feels pretty strong at least.

Been doing calves 2x a week generally so they don’t get the severe untrained DOMS. But doing these 15 sec holds Doggcrapp style is brutal AF. I mean I’m in physical pain completing them.
 
Been away.. How is the bi healing up?

Really well. 7.5wks post op & using it fully for day to day activities. Working on restoring complete ROM for supination & pronation - once that’s complete in a few weeks I’ll be ready to start training on it!

TB500 & BPC157 = would recommend for healing research.

Cool, I may run it between harsh orals but not even going to risk it if there’s a chance it’s going to strain the liver. I neeeeed that liver at 100% for SD

Observations. Blood Glucose same as last time I used Mk677, although that was 10mg & on CJC1295 w/Dac & now it’s just 20mg Mk677. Lipids still not cleaned up. Going to be adding in the citrus bergamot to address both, as well as continue my very recent addition of daily Berberine & ground Flax seed. Liver enzymes completely normal. Ostarine doesn’t appear to be toxic to me at 5-10mg.

Estrogen is over double what it should be for TT in 600s for me, so Eclipse isn’t doing jack to control the 1-2 tabs of 25mg DHEA per WEEK, plus elevated free test from proviron & boron. Does a good job of drying out joints but that appears to be it.

Going to take some exemestane eod for the next couple weeks to get estrogen down & test up some. Dropped ostarine & nolva after Wednesday, & proviron is done as well. Haven’t used any Diesel Test in over a week. Dropping Eclipse obviously since it’s a useless hassle. Will carry on with Mk for now to continue healing arm.

Good to hear! I remember mine was 6-8 months min. before I even thought of any kind of strain on it. Of course that was 20 years ago. alot of improvements have been made since then.
 
Liver enzymes look great, a few points high barely. starting to see a trend when people take legit Osta, it does what it’s supposed to do and isn’t bunked prohormones, doesn’t stress the liver.

This was legit first gen OL, but I wouldn’t touch OL UK based on the bunk Sdrol/Hdrol reports from their new stuff. Synergy Research has great SARM prices and 300 Labz has big doses in capped products, but no idea if they are dosed honestly. Will be trying out some stuff from Aggressive Labz in a couple months.

Did some number crunching & planning. Running low dose Clen thru 4/3 (15 days total). That day will be low carb, and 4/4-7 will be keto. I am going to fast beginning 4/8-14 for 7 days, Monday-Sunday. If I desire I “could” extend the fast out 10 days. Either way 4/18 I see the surgeon and expect to begin light full training again.

Nice, I keep thinking about doing a fast but not until I have my test levels back up to normal. I feel like it would be counterproductive to my goals while having low test levels.
 
2019 will be forever live on as as the year of the fast in AM history. Havent seen a trend like this sweep across the forum maybe ever since ive been on here. You guys have seen me talk about it before, so you know i am into it...to a certain degree. Some on here take it a bit over the top though.

Maybe 5-6 years ago after doing a lot of research and self testing I got really excited about intermittent fasting. I started an Intermittent Fasting and Lean Gains thread that seemed to start a wildfire of intermittent fasting on the board. It was pretty wild. That thread had so many quality posts in it too. It honestly shocked me how it blew up and seemed to start a ton of people to become aware of the benefits of fasting and that it was indeed not the recipe for muscle loss.

I love how this place seems to be on the cutting edge of a lot of this stuff just due to the type of people we have on here sharing knowledge. Now we have moved on to not being afraid of a week or two fast, and celebrating the benefits of it. Isn't it kind of amazing how much we learn on a discussion board...

I was very ignorant to the muscle-sparing elevation of GH that kicks in after the first couple days - it actually makes perfect sense for me now. I want to get lean off cycle for the wedding, and I want to bulletproof this re-attached tendon before I’m cleared to train: I’m going to get as many days as I can of that sweet Growth blast!

You only 27? Hyde. I automatically thought of you as older just because you've been here so long.

Going to be 29 actually in a few months. I started my first epistane cycle the day before I turned 21. I was creeping for probably a year before made a profile too.

Man, people were so dumb back then on this board. I mean seriously, the average knowledge of recreational oral users here is way better than most of the guys pinning back then. Guys thinking Nolva couldn’t be used with 19-Nors, that DAA was mandatory for PCT & Arimistane was a real AI. And if you go back to posts from like 08 it was a goddamn dark age lol. The internet has really spread info over the last decade.

Yes it is indeed a wealth of good resource now, and a more progressive mindset. Less keyboard warriors trying to play tough and more guys wanting to share and learn.

Thank you! I try to keep my perspective. It could always be worse, and it’s about the decision to see obstacles or opportunities. I have managed to lean out a tad & I believe my SSB strength is probably at an all-time high. My unilateral stability is definitely improved, my calves are bigger and my abs are a bit stronger as well. I am not there just yet, but I want to squat 4.5 plates on the SSB!
 
Nice! I plan to try my hand at squatting this weekend! Going to reset my hips, stretch my foot and ankle, then do a lot of glute activation work first. Then probably work with 135 maybe up to 225 or so and see how things are feeling after a day or two.

Hope it goes well! If I had to pick one lift I could do forever, it would be the squat. I know deadlifting or the clean & press build the most overall muscularity bang for buck, & I am built to deadlift, but I am a squatter at heart - it’s a very cathartic lift for me.

Had to get up at 4 to squeeze this one in, but that’s okay because I woke up at 2:50 for some reason and was wide awake til my alarm went off lol. Another 10lbs on the bar and more reps than last week, but I had to dig in for this one. Sometimes you just have to decide who you’re going to be, and damn your doubts & excuses!
 
Weighed 219.2 today.

Hit up an upper DB session in the afternoon (left arm was unloaded still for all the reps) and got a startling pump for being off cycle. I almost wouldn’t have believed it but my forearms were crawling. And I didn’t even have any intra carbs. Kept the volume higher and rests low for a good hour.

So far, really digging the new White Warped preWO. Feels much more direct than Flash and clearly still delivering on pumps well enough.

Great day, Jessica hit a 225 frontsquat then we did dynamic squats after (backsquat doubles for her). Legpress & Lunges going up and was able to comfortably do the half pushups with both arms.
 
I have no frigging idea what constitutes an impressive leg press but 760 pounds for 16 reps on just about anything is impressive in my book.
 
Good stuff, legs are going to be nice and strong after all of this. Good to hear the biceps held up to stabilizing the push up. Things seem to be going your way!

Leg strength is coming along and bodyweight slowly creeping down - 218.2lbs today! Who knew just sticking to the plan would actually work??

Tomorrow is last day for any carbs, just periworkout. Then keto next 4 days, and fast begins Monday.

Got some steals of deals on grass fed bison and beef at Kroger last night, plus some Moonshine brats & some thin top sirloin. Excited to fire up the grill for the first time this year!
