Traditional: flip a single revolution, crank once to tighten, and go.
I also do not need straps on any machine work of any kind, or any free weight pressing/holding. Only some free weight pulling/rowing.
Pressing is basically all front delt, so super setting the side work didn’t cost me strength. I needed several minutes between heavy sets of bench regardless, so I was already recovered from laterals as long as I did them as soon as I finished a set of bench.
I ran 100% more intra than usual. Normally I do 1 big rice krispy treat on the drive & drink 50-75g Karbolyn intra. Been adding a second krispy sometimes lately. For this I ate a cliffbar at home, had my normal drive krispy, drank 100g Karbolyn, and had another Krispy mid workout. You gotta pack your lunch for sessions like this.
