GMG760's cutting down for the San Diego Summer!

i'm totally with you GMG. i'm starting to cut the carbs out from postworkout on, and lower carbs in my postworkout shake takes some serious getting used to. i had a mild headache for a few days chopping my carbs down to 150g from roughly 400g. now i consume all 150g before 1:30 in the afternoon, and it is frustrating as heck.

Damn i'd die for 150g of carbs right now low that's about 5x what I am getting
 
I appreciate you guys taking time to give the advice you are. Sunny and AZ, you are both right on the money. I do start with the oats and do the taper like AZ said. I actually stole that from you during the earlier part of my log, where this conversation should be taking place. But Money is cool enough to let me steal knowledge here so props.
Then guys like Shaddow and Mixedup say what they have said and I can totally relate to that kind of mind set. The low carb thing sux. I get cranky as hell and irritable. But my carbs are lower now than before and I do feel it. But we'll see. I honestly have little extra time to squeeze more cardio into my week. Lame but true story.


And AZ you are right about that scale. Fickle machine. I have been sticking with the belt and tee shirt test. The scale just gives me a estimate of whats going on.

And I do hear you too Timber about losing some mass. My joints some days tell me it's time to make a real effort to drops the lbs. But when I go to lift and grab a DB and it feels like a ton but when I was heavier I could just rock it, it seriously screws with my head. Using lighter weights does something to my psyche that just about drive me nuts. I have been used to handling big weights for reps for so long that any other training is like a total mind f*ck. My therapist knows all about this.

So overall health, lose the mass would be a good thing. I suppose my goal would be a solid 250 before I turn 40. I've got 8 years to go. Might as well take it slow right?
 
I would think you could still push some serious weights at 250 lbs bubba.
 
I hear ya man. You can always get the strength back later... not like you're going to drop more than 10% on most lifts.

I totally hear you. I'm sure that its more of a mental thing. I know the strength would come back but the weak feelings while dropping lbs is what I really struggle with.

I'm going to give it a go over in the log with the posting of daily intake and see where that goes.

Word. Yeah, weighing 3 bucks sounds cool, but youre right in the long run - that wont work out too well... Joints especially.

I saw the worst thing about O Line guys on HBO. All about the injuries and normal things that they can't do. This one guy was in a wheel chair from various leg injuries. One dude has his wife wiping his as*. Just from football. They made bank but had so many medical bills and issues. Lots of pain killer addiction and head injuries as well. Like vegetative states. Not a great way to live. And these guys were in their early 30's. One guy was trying to hang himself but couldn't get out of his chair and onto the table to get the job done. Wife cam home and found him on the floor. Crazy stuff.

Plus my high school team sucked bad and I wasn't that into it because of that so I never got any looks. I could have gone to a state school but had a knee injury already at that point so I never followed through. Wrestling was more my thing anyway. I looked hot in the singlet. 265 in high school. All sorts of sexy.

I am totally with you my man i'm on my heavy cut now going to single digits and my weights keep dropping but it's not by a Huge amount and i know it will come back I do try and do at least 1-2 reps with a HEAVY weight just so I know I can pull it out and that helps mentally even if I'm not getting sets

I did the highschool football gig and was already damaged goods from that. I was told that the risks would be too great to continue playing(Neck vertebrae) and a knee scope. The damage that sport inflicts on the body is unreal!!
 
I loved high school football. I just would run in from FS and throw my body at people. I missed a bit more than I should have - but when I actually hit a ****er... :lol:
 
I played middle linebacker...nothing like catching a tailback coming through the line standing up!

Today kicks off my Hdrol cycle... I decided to run the Liquidrone with it. :twisted:

You made me jealous Sunny... you can't have all the fun. I don't think Liquidrone really tastes bad at all. In fact, compared to Torem, it is like freaking candy. My hat is off to the people at AMS for making a liquid hormone that I actually CAN hold under my tongue for 30 seconds.

We'll see if we have the same results. I am not looking for a huge weight gain, just some lean mean mass and strength. I keep hearing about everyone running Tren, so I got jealous and impatient... kinda figured I'd save my feraguno for another day.

Glad to hear you are starting it up. That Liquidrone sounds like the real deal and I am excited to hear you are running it. It should be a great lean stack!!!!!!!!!
 
Just to give you an idea, G$, when I started my T-Roid (tren analogue) & P-Plex cycle I was 188 and could barely make out my top 2 abs. I straight up bulked (~4kcal), and I'm in week one of PCT right now. Got up to ~205-206, and I can clearly see my top 4 abs and easily make out the bottom two... Just saying. You don't wanna under-eat on this stuff! I honestly think it'll be easy to gain solid mass while leaning out tremendously.

good point shaddow. lean bulking on tren (300-500 calories over) will still lead to a recomp effect, which happened to me on my first tren log. this time around, my calories were just too high to recomp, but i gained a heck of a lot more :)
 
Great points guys. I'll definitely have to add some more carbs into the mix in that case. That will be a godsend anyway, I hate being low on the carbs.

Today was a pretty good day at the gym, especially for me eating 84g carbs today total. I am hungrier than hell these days. I'll probably add some carbs to my second meal of the day from here on out in the cycle... I'm thinking some brown rice or oatmeal. That should put me to about 160 gm carbs per day. You guys think I need more than that? I can always add some WMS to my post workout shake. I just gotta keep those night-time munchies at bay.

50mg Hdrol
24 mg liquidrone (2 doses)
2 doses of 50mg (100mg total) Formestane topical by CEL. I am going to be using the topical formestane at a low dose as a on-cycle precaution against gyno from the cycle. I am really curious about how to ramp off it and into PCT... so my ears are open to suggestions.

Today I felt like a maniac at the gym, like every other placebo workout I have ever had. I did however feel a pretty damn intense pump already, and I was sweating like a madman. Could the liquidrone's effects be that quick? I don't think so, but I sure had fun pretending it did.

Weighed in at 193.

Pulling Workout -
Pull Ups - 12, 10, 8, 8 ... as I get heavier, these get harder... who'd have thought?! :lol:
BB Rows - 95x15, 140x12, 190x8
DB rows - 70x10, 90x10, 110x8
RDL - 135x15, 225x10, 315x10, 405x3
Low lat pressdowns - 50x10x3 sets

Preacher Curls - 25's x12x3 sets... intense concentration on muscle contraction. I probably won't get very big curling numbers until I switch them to post-chest or on their own arm day... as I am tired of holding onto things after picking up 405, and would rather do the exercise right.
Triple drop set barbell curls - I do three sets of 80x6, 50x12, 30x15 all with less than 10 seconds of a pause between the "triple set". I get a great pump from it, it is an exercise I did when I first started out, and it still fits nicely here and there into a workout.

20 min HIIT on the bike. That will be my last session of HIIT until this cycle is complete. I will now be walking for 30 minutes 3 days a week for my cardio. Cant wait for chest tomorrow!!!

160g is nothing, IMO. I'd def. have some fun with the carbs on this run. My carbs have been pretty high (easily 400g ED), but for the most part they've been quality (beans, ww pasta, brown rice, oats), and I've been eating pretty damn clean the majority of the time. I won't even lie though - there have been about 8 or 9 occasions where I've eaten an entire box of granola bars (~1100 calories) in one sitting between meals, and I've still managed to lean out tremendously. :D

If you're scared to up the carbs too much off the bat, I understand. I was too. But give it time and you'll see. You can get away with a lot on these tren compounds.

that's good motivation there man, how many non-gym people do you know that try starving themselves to try and look good (females mostly). i can definitely use this in my arguments with people!

Teg is right G, back looks good. I would add carbs in the post w/o shake for sure. Other than that just play with higher carbs on w/o days and low on off days. If you are doing the Form e/d now maybe start dropping days as you start to come off it. Nice placebo day anyway!

I've been using the Nitrocore 24 protein by ON, at 2 scoops per shake. That's about 30gm carbs per shake... I know it's not a lot, I'll add some WMS to the mix, or perhaps a banana or two.
 
Ok, I figured on zero carbs in the shake. That's about the total carbs I take in for my post shake but, I am alot older and not running a cycle...yet!

If I were you, I would continue the Formestane (which I freakin love!!) at 100 mg. per day in 2 divided doses (morning and evening) and then on the very last week of this run, I'd lower the dosage to 50 mg. only at night before beddie-bye!!!

I agree on raising the carbs. As long as your not going over a ridiculous amount and the are quality carbs(brown rice,oatmeal, fruit,ezekiel) you will lean out. If you use those carbs to grow and produce more muscle you will also get leaner from the increase in metabolism.
