As always quick shout out to Wayne of C&P for allowing me to run this and of course Jaime, the owner. He was one of the first guests on my radio show. Great dude, balls to the wall mentality and attitude.
Quick stats – 43 yrs old, used to compete back in the day, joints aren’t what they used to be. Currently around 190, 15-16% BF.
My workouts are higher reps, again due to joint issues, more specifically shoulders and occasionally my knees. Days of going heavy are over and it is more keeping tone, perhaps some size and working on getting leaner.
Days of barbell bench pressing are few and far between so I get crafty and try work arounds.
I try to do cardio every workout. 10-15 minutes treadmill to warm things up and finish with another 15-25 minutes, brisk pace 4 mph.
Supps being used:
Legend 2caps a day, split dosage, morning and dinner
Generic BCAA
Cannibal Weight - Chocolate
Weds:
Chest/Quads combo
15 minutes cardio, start and 15 minutes at the end.
I take a barbell, wedge it in a corner of a squat rack and put weight on one side. On the weighted side, I palm the bar with both hands, kind of lean it on my chest and press up and outwards. Once the weight comes back down, I do a squat, ass to calves type of thing.
Did 5 sets of these.
5 sets of flat DB bench press, single arm. I do 2 continuous sets at a time, so I guess honestly doing 10 sets
4 sets of cable crossovers with rubber bands
5 sets leg extensions.
Thursday
So my son woke up early thus getting me up early so when in Rome time to workout.
20 minutes cardio and Arms, abs
Rubberband type of day
5 sets of individual curls
5 sets of hammers
3 sets reverse curls
Abs – 10 sets – Legs in the air crunches
5 sets oblique work, left hand/right knee…right hand/ left knee type of thing.
