Favorite high protein meal is this creamy sauce sauteed flounder they serve at this chinese buffet (this particular buffet is really nice, very tasteful and light on the sauces, the frying, etc). Jesus, it's so delicious, I get like 4 platefulls of it (about 2.5-3lbs).

Sardine sandwiches,,, also you can put anything at all in a meatloaf,,, grind up the veggies,, carbs (oats, flax, bran, etc etc), with whatever meat you choose,,, throw in a few eggs to hold it together,,, you can create the perfect macro loaf...... you control everything in it,,, season it anyway you like,,,, my meatloaf is almost 50% veggies,,, perfect way to get my veggies and fiber into my diet!!

due to me being spoiled, I can only eat salmon if its wild alaskan.Mostly its chicken, i've found a nice way to do the split breasts with bones + skin still on them (cheap as dirt, usually under $2/lb) is to bake them in a large roasting pan at around 365 for 45 min while making sure to keep water in the pan. Not covering the breasts, just a light layer. with the way the bones are in split breasts it holds almost all the meat up out of the water.

I carry a large ziploc bag full of cooked breasts in my backpack all day for on the go snacks,,,,

always a fan of breasts! i also love pastas, angel hair with ground turkey, olive oil and garlic sauce..lean ground beef meatballs

thank the protein gods i started this thread so many awesome ideas you guys are outdoing your selves great ideas !

Put your chicken in a slow cooker (crock pot) with chicken broth veggies etc for 6-7 hours. Literally falls apart so good

My main focus for everyday protein is ease of cooking,, and all day accessibility,,, slow cooked meat is awesome for a "meal" but for all day everyday nonstop eating,, you really need something portable,,, and that can be eaten by hand... I like meatloaf sandwiches and even cans of sardines, which can be eaten with plasticware

I ate sardines the other day and my gf wouldn't go near me for like 20 minutes afterwards....

20minutes isn't too long,,, lol,,, I eat 2-3 cans a day, every day

One can of sardines has 45g of protein and is a lot more portable,,, a 14oz can.of salmon has 84g

What brand do u get? Most of the ones I try are unbearable lol

Any generic brand packed in olive oil is fine by me ... I really like sardines by themselves,, they're good mixed with scrambled eggs, onions and jalapenos too...

Now this is a great idea. I def. will try this cottage cheese thing. "your chick" is a winner for the protein cupcakes. Nice to have someone supportive of a healthy habit! Congrats

i slow cook everything....wife made lean ground turkey chili the other day, got a small turkey in the cooker as we speak

My meatloaf recipe :
1pound ground beef 85%lean
1pound ground turkey 90%lean
1pound ground lamb 85%lean
1cup rye flakes
1cup oats
2cups ground cabbage
2cups ground fennel
1/2cup ground carrot
1/8cup ground ginger
1cup minced onion
1teaspoon garlic powder
1tablespoon salt
1tablespoon black pepper
4 whole eggs
1/4 cup ground parmesan
2 tablespoons fresh thyme

All mixed together thoroughly and placed in a loaf pan

Topped with carmelized onions tossed in bread crumbs and parmesan
Bake at 350 until center reaches 150°... approximately one hour

I've started making protein pancakes for breakfast, pretty good stuff. I use:
4 egg whites
1/2 cup of oats/instant oatmeal
2 scoops protein powder
Mix ingredients in blender and cook like you would a normal pancake.

you guys F***IN rocked this thread awesome ideas !! and recipes !

I like chicken and peanut butter. But i try to stay away from sugared meats like beef jerky. All it does is add carbs to my protein which i don't need. I also take Isopure. Its the best protein on the market i think. It comes as the purest form of protein you can buy.

My beef jerky only has like 1g of carbs per serving so I can deal with that.

If you get actual, real jerkey it's fine,, but those processed "jacklinks" type jerkey are bad for you
