Last night was dose #5 of Keto Induce.

I woke up at 227.6 lbs. this morning (I've gone down each day since starting).

Now, keep in mind that my training is super intense and my diet is on LOCK. So it's not like this was the only change, but I think it is worth noting.

That said, my sleep has been terrible since starting. However, I feel very rested (mentally) when rising, despite that. The physical exhaustion persists, though.



Last food ingested last night was at 6 PM, basketball from 7:30-9:15 PM, 2 scoops HumaPro as soon as I finished, Keto Induce and MCT Evolved (along with other night-time supps) ingested at 9:40 PM once I got home, went to bed at 12 AM but didn't fall asleep until after 1:15 AM, woke up several times through the night and ultimately got out of bed at 7:40 AM. Just broke my fast at 11:30 AM with 2 Pumpkin Pie Quest bars and could really feel the warmth (30 minutes later, veins are now popping a bit more, too).
 
Am I the only one noticing increased heart rate/pounding heartbeat when trying to sleep after dosing the KI/MCT? The only other thing I take with it are probiotics and Ashwaghanda sometimes. Last dose of stims for the day is usually 6-7 hours before bed as well.

Just a guess yet I have no clue but the sudden increase of salts and lack of water intake ?

How much water you drinking
 
The past two nights dosing KI, I've actually had an improvement in sleep.. Though I had an exhausting weekend and needed the sleep.
 
Yeah, a sudden intake of electrolytes makes sense that your heartbeat might be affected. What's your potassium intake like per day?

Usually a banana or two and some spinach/kale. And while I have your attention, would you dose a single cap of Defuse with your postworkout meal if it's the meal that breaks your fast? Or if I broke my fast with MCT would you dose Defuse before that?
 
If you break your fast with the MCT then you won't need Defuse...unless you're planning to eat soon after your workout, then take the defuse after workout.
 
I haven't noticed any issues with HR, but my sleep has been rough a handful of nights since starting.

Stims normally have no negative impact on my sleep or falling asleep at all, but today, I had my Alphamine at 9 when I got to the office and I'm foregoing my normal afternoon dose. I've got a head fog and am definitely dragging, but I'm hoping I'll sleep like a champ tonight.
 
Agreed, have been sleeping deeper. Had weird dreams the second night, but otherwise deep and restful.

Almost like taking Slin Sane pre-bed back in the day.

Ketones impact people differently. Some of the ketone inducing technologies make you drunk, it's crazy. There are tremendous variables when it comes to ketones and how people's bodies react.

I just have to say.. I'm sitting here drinking my ice cold mixture of KI, Strafe, and MCT.. And damn did you hit flavor on the spot, Matt. This is delicious! And the creaminess of the MCT just heightens the taste.

I told myself I'd drink KI no matter how bad it tasted if the results were worth it.. But now I look forward to drinking it every night.

I, like Cheda, have been sleeping much better the past few nights since starting.

Yea I enjoy the taste of KI totally honest. I look forward to it as well. I've been having very vivid dreams since starting too. Most recent was about my HS ex.. "The one who got away" too bad she's married w 2 kids now or that dream woulda had me making a phone call lol

that MCT powder is definitely a score. It's definitely a good add to anything - an isolate shake in particular.
1Fast400 what isolate do you recommend as the lowest carb/best tasting?
 
KI arrived last night along with other EvoMuse goodies (but my order got messed up, I sent you an email Matt), dosed it 3-4 hours away from dinner. I woke up 2 times during my sleep, once to go to the bathroom so sleep wasn't the best. Frequent urination, more than normal during the morning. I did fasted cardio and noticed my body temperature was more warmer than usual... and cause of that, I was sweating a lot more. Once I showered after cardio and looked in the mirror, I noticed more vascularity and leanness, especially in my forearms, obliques and serratus area. I will dose KI again tonight and I just hope my sleep tonight will be better.

I'm def liking the taste of KI as well. I'll have to try it mixed with strafe one of these nights too. Sounds tasty/gainsy ha.
dsade - with my workout being first thing in the morn (6am) and not actually eating until at least 6pm, would a post workout dose of strafe be better for me than a pre bed dose since I'm going to bed on a mostly full stomach? I usually just have bcaas pre/intra-post and once through the day but I'm thinking replacing them with strafe post would make more sense. Ki at night, strafe pwo?
 
No idea on isolate. Most of our keto people don't need supplemental protein, we're trying to get them to lower it 99% of the time. To be honest, I haven't drank a protein shake in years, I like food. If/when I do, I'd prefer a low grade concentrate to keep the protein as intact as possible and just account for the fat/carbs and make adjustments elsewhere.

Your first night experience is almost spot-on to mine.

We need to figure out how to get in that deep sleep club with the other cool kids lol.
 
Its not the KI its just y'all haven't eaten well before your sleep a habit y'all probably had beforehand which leads u looking thinner in the morning

I stop eating at 5PM every day (for the past 2-3 years) and sleep at 9-10PM, so I'm pretty consistent with not eating anywhere near bed time.
 
Also, noticing my sleep has improved greatly on KI.

Looking leaner in the mirror in the morning and sleeping way better, good stuff so far.

No, but seriously.. This is why I have so much respect for him and this company - and never bitch about having to wait a little extra for a pre order, or paying a little extra on shipping (though he's been kind to give extra goodies or gift card when he feels like it) even though he probably breaks even or loses on it.
