You apply a dime/quarter size twice a day...I have find that using it once per day is just fine (and the bottle lasts longer).

Yes, a conservative application amount assuming the area is free from hair. Wider areas (if you add in your chest area, or decide to use it for workout enhancement) would obviously make it run out more quickly.
