Epic Cutting Stack

Decided to have a massive cheat meal last night to help get my mood and everyhting back in check. 6 slices of pizza and 22oz of frozen yogurt with all kinds of toppings. It was glorious. Probably gonna continue the cheat dinners through the weekend as a nice little diet break and then monday get back to it full swing for the final cut. I'd like to be under 10% in 6 weeks which should be doable.

Damn, you make the most out of your cheat meals! And 220z of froyo? Dayuummm

Great, now you're giving me the idea to order all of those... and eat them all in one sitting :D

Did I ever mention that Coldstone is 5 doors down from my home? LoL.

Coldstone is only 5 minutes from my house but thank goodness I'm not a huge craver for ice cream.

Pound and half of frozen yogurt? Good lord dude.

Haha you shouldve seen the look on the girl at the counter's face when she put it on the scale. Apparently normal don't eat like that. my favorite part was that i had a free 8oz... barely put a dent in my cup ha.

eating 1.5 pounds of yogurt and a half a pizza is not normal.. lol thats a good 2.5-3k cals depending on what you got mixed in as well
That is beyond peoples intake for the entire day.

BASTARD!!!
Just had the peanut butter cup Coldstone. Small sized. Also ate a bunch of fries. That's like a 500 calories (at least) caloric surplus. Lulz. I think this week nets me a net zero on weight loss. Got it out of my system though so, back on track tomorrow.Monday is cardio day, simulated wingates on the spin bike and going to run on a scoop of OEProtein and two tablespoons of MCT. Then Amino IV intra and another OEProtein shake post. Going to try out this no carbs for cardio first thing in the morning thing for the second half of this cut.

If its a free meal, why are your calculating your intake for it? Enjoy it and move on. Your not in contest prep or in prep for a photoshoot. Live life and enjoy some moderation.

Gotta have that oatmeal cookie batter next time with PB Cups, Fudge, Brownies, and Snickers or Twix. Divine...

I will see how much I can fit into the ice cream next time... in a month, to celebrate. LoL.

Personally I like to track everything at least roughly just to get an idea of how I respond to amounts and have a record of it

Which is good, but its supposed to be a mental relaxer. Sure tracking kcals is great and all. is the extra 5 minutes to track a free meal really going to matter to you in a week or two in the end? We dont collect paychecks or get any rewards or bonuses counting kcals. Having a meal off task once a week wont hurt you, nor will counting it make a difference in the grand scheme of things or bigger picture. Eat , Enjoy and Live. Some of us take this way too serious for never having intentions of stepping on a stage or doing a photoshoot, we simply count kcals to aid our physique (which i said is great) but again we dont get anything out of it in the end but some wasted time and maybe a few laughs in 5-10 years when we may never track our intake again lol

but again just my 2 cents, there is going to be no harm, but as long as you control your portions your not going to casue any eating disorders or mental breakdowns.

I agree with this 100%. I just have the personality type that struggles with extremes and consistency. This year is all about balancing things for me an learning to enjoy my life as much as I enjoy my gym and diet time.

As much as we love the gym, some people put "Too" much effort into what they do considering this is a lifestyle and a hobby its not something we collect revenue or interest off of.

If you think in 3 months that tracking a "Free" meal was worth your time
You will look back and laugh.

Just like how you feel horrible fasting, but yet do it and continued to do so.

Na I just gave it a shot fora little over two weeks. That's the amount of time all my reading suggested it takes for your body to adjust to that type of schedule but when things got worse instea of better that's when I made the change.

I just want to say that I am all for a pizza and ice cream cheat meal. Those fill-your-own-cup frozen yogurt places are dangerous though. The last time I went accidentally filled the cup with 16 oz. of yogurt and toppings. Of course, then I was obligated to eat the entire thing...

It appears you are stacking your diet like you are supplements
IF
CBL
LOW Carb
+ Calorie Deficit

That would probably explain low / ****ty energy levels.

What are your calories like? From your diet on the first page i see about. You didnt include the fats.

200g protein
100 carbs

Thats only 1200 calories, i appear to be missing something?

Next time you're down in Pitt you should come out to the one by me. Everyone I know says it's the best froyo and toppings they've ever seen. Prob 75 toppings and usually 8-10 flavors ranging from choc/vanilla to pb rice crispy treat/cookies n creme. It's amazing

CBL is just a form of IF. It's just more strict around carb/nutrient timing vs IF being all about eating in the window. The low carb portion is what's suggested in the book as part of the first 10 days as a "prep phase" to get your body used to burning fat for energy (keto) then when you add carbs back in your body will adjust back to far burning faster (in theory).

My calories are about 1900 (I'm eating well over tho for my diet break) and 190p/210c/30-35f

CBL is not a form of IF You can CBL on 5-6 meals a day just shift your carbs later at night Simple.

The suggestion in the CBL book is to fast as long as possible, having only coffee and mct or creme then ideally 1 p/f meal pre workout. Same as idea as IF with 1 pre workout meal.

I'm talking strictly "by the book". Ultra low carb off days etc.

people still use it with more meals but its still carb back loading. Same principle. The CBL author is also full potato thinking you dont track kcals and basically eat junk. Great recipe for fat gain.

Agreed. His thought process is good but some of his proposed meals are insane. Plus if you see pics of him he's not even in that good of shape. His "six pack" is like a rough 4 at best. Not impressive for a self proclaimed guru.

Saturday Legs and Sunday Back/Pull days were INSANE. Volume was through the roof both days and the pump i had going was incredible. I also had 2 hockey games which really finished me off. Playing goalie after 1.5hr leg days and not playing for 6mo is probably one of the hardest things I've ever done. lets just say my flexibility isnt quite where it was last time I played...

I used the last few days as a diet break and ate at or slightly above maintenance cals (averaged ~2800kcal/day) thurs-sun. I can definitely tell I ate more as I'm a bit watery but I didnt gain more then 1lb and some of that will come off as water weight and glycogen so no worries. Today started me back on a hard diet.

Also started my ECY stack this morn to help blast the next few weeks out. Dosing will be:
first 3-5 days: Upon waking, pre-workout - 1/2 brokaid (12.5mg E) + 1/2 Dexaprine XR
Rest of time: 1 bronkaid (25mg E) + 1 Dexaprine XR

Intial impression is that I'm not at all impresed with the 1/2 dose energy. I took this 30min before getting up and still struggled to crawl out of bed. Might bump the dexaprine up sooner, at least for the mornings.

Now that I've changed up my carb intake timing and amounts, I can say I'm loving eating them in the evening. It's so nice to have a big, filling meal for dinner when I'm relaxing. Plus I'm sure the carbs PWO will really help me keep muscle as I continue to cut.

The deadline for me is now set at July 11 as this is when I go on my cruise vacation. The goal is to be a low enough bf to have a full 6 pack (est 8%) and be able to keep this through the 8 day vacation while enjoying myself.

Monday morning I started my ECY stack with 1/2 tab bronkaid (12.5mg E) and 1/2 tab Dexaprine XR. I have to say this combo hasn't seemed to do anything as far as energy goes so as of this morning I bumped the Dexaprine XR to a full tab. This was much better and provided some actual energy and focus. The plan is to bump the E up to a full tab at the beginning of next week unless the results of my Sunday morning (pre-easter) weigh-in say its not nec.

Well thats just the date I need to be ready by. There will be some breaks along the way. I'd ideally like to be very close to my goal far sooner and maintain for awhile so that I can just do a quick "tune up" right before. This past weekend I took a short one from thurs-sunday and ate at or slightly above maintenance while satisfying some garbage food cravings as well.

Really been enjoying my new workout scheme the last few weeks:

Mon- Low volume push, chest focused
Tues - OFF
Weds - Low volume legs - hamstring focused
Thurs - Low volume pull
Fri - High volume push - shoulder/tricep focused
Sat - High volume legs - quad focused
Sun - High volume pull - back width focused

I can post up the full routines if anyone is interested.

Had a monster leg day today. 1hr 45min and set rep PR's on squats and leg press. Did some LISS cardio later in the afternoon and my quads were numb by the end haha. Cant wait for the DOMS

You got progress pics?

Ask and you shall receive. Weighed in this morning at 182.5"lb. Monday, after a 4 day diet break I was at 190.5lv (obviously some water/glycogen weight there). My previous low was at the end of my 10 carb depletion at 184.2lb and after reloading I think 185-187 or something. So basically I think the diet break really helped out as well as getting my carb timing down and only eating them in my first pwo meal as opposed to pre bed too. I look and feel much better with this layout.

How tall are you?

man your kcals are at 1900 now and you want to cut till july
your meatbolism is gonna be wrecked!

I'm trying to slowly bring them up while still losing weight. Adding HIIT a few times a week and gonna bump them up VERY slowly so that my body either doesn't notice, or gets used to them and ups my metabolism. Its gonna be tedious but its a project.

Really loving adding the hiit to my mornings. It makes liss seem so easy and boring. Time just flies and I can already see a noticeable difference in my love handle area. I still can't seem to get the lower abs to respond just yet though so I'll keep pushing.

After I weigh in on Sunday I assuming another good drop I'm gonna try to bump up my calories by 100 or so. Hold there for two weeks, then repeat as nec.
