Thanks for the info DW. I didn't realize how much weight you actually end up dropping before a show. So I'd most likely have to shoot for 176 as well if I wanted to compete. Well good luck brotha, looks like you have a decent plan going.

No problem. You're leaner though and drier than I am so your weight loss probably won't be as drastic. However, I'd still account for at least 30lbs to get into contest shape.

Breaking news.....I did 10min HIIT cardio tonight! I was bored and decided to go hit abs/calfs and figured Ahhhh what the hell, I kinda of want some carbs tonight.

Not to mention, it was on the stairmaster. It was brutal, heart rate was in the high 180's by the end. I followed it up with a 10min walk on the tredmill for a cool down. My legs were uber pump'd. I probably won't be doing that again anytime soon. Maybe when I recomp hard starting in April/May.

Slammed a shake and a Gluten free cinnamon raisin bagel with some spray butter topped with cinnamon/sugar and a drizzle of homey......hit the spot!

Appetite wasn't huge today, I only had 4 meals. They were a little larger but calories were overall lower but other than morning activities I didn't really do anything too crazy.

Daily macros (roughly)

Usual training day macros are closer too

Breezy & Mattys, saw a commercial on A&E for their new show "Southies" any cameos from my MA brothers? Lol

Haha I forgot about that show ("Southie Rules"). I guess it airs tomorrow. I did have film crews on my street for a week last year, but I think that was for a movie. It'll definitely have my neighborhood in it though. I heard its wicked scripted ;)

Haha I'm looking forward to it, but I have a feeling it'll be disappointing and make some people wicked pissed around here.

I actually do say wicked multiple times a day, but my accent isn't too bad lol.

Haha you know they'll play heavy on the stereotypes and run with em. Per usual of reality TV. I'm interested bc it's A&E (which I have much more respect for vs. MTV for example) and I can ask you guys if its the real McCoy or not lol

It should be intersting. I think the show is based on an old school family that doesn't like the "yuppies" trying to take over South Boston...I think I actually told you that the place has changed a lot recently haha.

Yeah, before AB, the only time I'd heard hella was from Cartman (South Park) lol.

Did you ditch the stretchers? I have back tomorrow and I'm gonna give them one more shot and then I'm gettin rid of them. Not a fan so sat I'd rather do seated pull downs with the tri-handle instead I think.

Yeah but just bc I'm changing things up. I love em but, you need the right set up. My old gym, I hated them. The bench & pulley were at an odd angle/height.

That's exactly my problem. The pully seems extremely low? I have pretty long arms too so that doesn't help I think. I have to stand extremely far away just to feel a slight stretch

I agree with needing the right set up. I did my first set today on a pulldown station that I hadn't previously and it didn't work out right. I couldn't stretch to a full extension and it was really awkward.

Well diet changed a little today and will 2maro. I'm setting sail late 2maro night/early Friday morning.

I have to eat all the food I have, lol. There wasn't a lot to eat but enough. I have some of it to a friend but there's still stuff he had zero interest in (gluten free stuff) so carbs will probably end in the 500range (all gluten free)

I've slammed carbs today, woke up kind of flat so I figured it'd be a good time to fill up. I'll be in a car for literally the next two days so food will be minimal. I've got some beef jerkey, peanut butter, celery, choccpb nut mix and ISOpure protein drinks.

I'll be making some stops along the way but won't be on here too much from 2/1-2/9

Thanks dude. Going from Fresno,CA to Cleveland, OH. taking I-10 all the way over to about New Orleans then starting north with stops in Atlanta, Charlotte & Tennessee.

I'm logging about 3,600 miles all together. I've made the trip 4 times before but never this route.

They have some incredible food! Grab some Recomp for the road! Saftey net or all those bad meals

Thanks man, I've got this diet & training down!!!!! Now just have to hone in the cutting part, I may give it a go come May/June for 8 weeks.

Thanks bud, I don't know but today my pump was huge! My training partner even mentioned how swole my arms were looking and he see's them almost every week. Crazy stuff, now just need to make em look like this cold! Haha

Cleveland it is! Fairview park to be exact. Not there yet but will be when weather clears up some.

Been training fellas, no real set routine just doing when I can. Admittedly, I haven't trained legs in 2 weeks! :sad: diet has been pretty good and the first day of my my road trip I was vascular AF when I stopped. No idea how/why.

Well I take it back I do, lol. Just want expecting it. Diet has mostly been a carb back loading look to it. Yesterday was bad though, Bojangles for breakfast & a hot-n-ready for dinner :yikes:

Today has been no carbs or training. I've had a dozen eggs, 6 chipotle chicken sausages & 2 cans of tuna with chipotle mayo. Eggs and sausage were cooked in coconut oil but haven't done much as it rained here all day today. Diet will be back on track from here on out as the bulk of my trip is over and I'll be at my dads house (where I was for Christmas) so it should be smooth sailing.

I will be starting EBF Recompadrol & Lecheek MassHGH the end of this week or beginning of next. Planning on a solid recomp here. Plan to hold weight and drop ~1%BF with any increase in strength being welcomed :-D

Good to see you managed to fit some lifting in along the way DW. I couldn't handle taking more than a week off.

I'm going crazy with no leg training man. I wanted to last week but they only had an extension and curl machine & a bar that was bent AF. I feel like they're shrinking.

Trained legs today. Volume wasnt crazy, either was weight. I'm toooooast too, it'll be a carb filled evening.

Went deep with squats, hip ROM seems to be getting better. Wasn't exactly ATG but pretty darn close.
