Yes we have strong members in the Avenger Brotherhood of Loggers United. Hm...now I wanna get taped for a workout too ;D!!! muahaha
No doubt...I may have to set my video camera up one of these days. If I can sneak it in; my gym is picky about cameras...

Ok ladies and gentlemen gather round to hear the story of Capt. Perv. and why he isn't allowed to bring cameras into his gym...Now do tell brother, how many booties did you snap a pic of before you got camera-banned from the sexy lady section?

**** ya bro! he said if I can get my form down he was 97% (yay ACCURACY) that I could get 450!!! that perked me up. Give me some days to recover and ill tear this **** up. Gonna turn into the size of a building first :)

Lets hope so. Back in my powerlifting days my PR was 440 so 450 would be quite a feat. I'd like to get my squats up to around at least 225x10. That was always what my powerlifting coach considered a pinnacle lifting achievement. And it would certainly help w the DL. God dammit I ****ing love lifting weights!!!

June 18th: CHEST/TRIS

Weight: 227.5lbs

DB BENCHPRESS: 40x15,15 70x12,12,12

DB INCLINE PRESS: 50x12,12,12

BB DECLINE PRESS: 135x12,12,12

DB FLYS: 35x8,8 25x6

DB PULLOVER: 55x12,12

DIPS: BWx5,5,8

TRICEP KICKBACK: 25x10,10

TRICEP PUSHDOWNS: 120x12 130x12

NO ATTACHMENT PULLEY PUSHDOWN: 30x10,10 20x12

GUILLOTINE PRESS: 95x15,10,6

MACHINE FLYS: 135x12,10

Finally a return to good form/great chest day after my last day almost a week ago. Felt really good to finally see the reps hit where I wanted them to. Felt really nice and strong again and got a good stretch with each rep. I know I'll be sore tomorrow for sure :)! Triceps really stole the show today. With the exception to the dips, which I blame the pullovers for, everything went up in weight and/or reps and that felt great. I didn't do skullcrushers today because I've done them the past 3 times and figured it was time for a break. Was particularly impressed with the pushdowns, both attached and non-attached. Kind of surprised that the weight felt that easy. I would call this day a success! And this was a fasted workout too because I was pressed for time so I had no preworkout meal 2 hours prior (as was the deadlift yesterday which I forgot to mention ;))! Will probably be taking tomorrow off and do some HIIT and then legs will be on Wednesday. I usually like to take a day off before legs (and eat a little dirty as well).

Pics will be coming later tonight once I get a chance to edit them. Unless you guys wanna see what boxers I was wearing. lulz.

Stay tuned,

DJ

June 19th: HIIT

Sort of a success/failure day today in the gym. I have no idea what the heck was going on... even now at work I feel like I'm still half asleep. I slept really well today but must have woke up in the middle of some REM sleep because I have felt like there has been sand in my eyes all day and it translated over into the gym as well. I was really looking forward to going because my lady came with me and I was hoping to achieve the same level of workout that I did last time (10 sprints). This time I felt like I couldn't catch my breath at all and was only able to do 6 sprints total before I called it quits :(! Ran 2.2 miles for 25 minutes and burned 340 calories. Not a total failure but not as much as I had hoped for. Tomorrow is the epic leg day. I am hoping for 225x5... at least 4. 4 would be a PR and 5 reps would be amazing. I'm about 3/4 of the way through this months Erase Pro and I thought I felt the slightest ache in my left knee but it went away. I'm surprised I haven't had any joint pain because when I ran OG Erase I felt some joint pain in the legs right around this time. Oh well!

Stay tuned,

DJ

Just wait until I clean bulk after the wedding ;)! I've yet to run into a wall/plateau yet with the lifts with this CUT so I'm sure the sky is the limit when it comes to bulking!

June 21st: SHOULDERS

Weight 227lbs

Had a really good day in the gym today. Workout was fasted because I slept in longer than usual to get some more cuddle time with the fiance. Its the only time we get together when our work schedules are flip flopped :\. I was expecting BB shoulder press to be little more impressive but I'm happy with it and the afterthought that was DB seated press. Busted more PRs with reps than weight with the exception to rear delt machine flys. Didn't have time for cardio today because my buddy came with me and brought his toddler son with us and the kids club was only open for so long. Then the final ****kicker of the day? Went to the grocery store post workout and as I'm leaving some teenage kid hits my ****ing car :(! No big deal... this is what I have insurance for. But damn... if that would have happened preworkout I dunno if I could have concentrated in the gym. Here are the numbers.

STANDING BB SHOULDER PRESS: 45x15 100x10,9,7

SEATED DB SHOULDER PRESS: 50x12,12,12 20x10

SHRUGS: 100DBx12,12,12 50x18 AWWWW YEAAAAAA!

FRONT ARM RAISE: 30x12,12,8 I don't stop once I reach a 90 degree angle arm to body. I overextend to get more out of the shoulder. Feels real NICE.

PULLEY DELT RAISES (equiv to lateral arm raise): 30x8,10,10 I only chose to do these because I couldn't find any 25lb DBs to use. Kinda glad :)

REAR DELT FLYS: 15DBx12,12,12 Machine: 150x12,12,10 75negx10

UPRIGHT ROWS: 40DBx12,12,8

Shoulders blasted! Woohoo!

June 22nd: BACK/BIS

Technically this was done this morning (Saturday) but seeing as how my schedule is crazy I woke up from 6/22 around 2PM and didn't go to bed until 9:30AM 6/23... so I still consider my "day" to be all of 6/22... complicated? Indeed.

Somewhat funny story today. I had no intention of lifting weights whatsoever. I had to work last night and then I have a 3 hour drive ahead of me to head to northern Indiana to meet with the fiance and iron out some wedding details in her hometown. So I told myself that all I was going to do today was some HIIT. Knowing I'd be almost ready to fall asleep by the time I got off work, the only thing I brought with me was some Craze. I took two scoops with some water as I walked out the hospital doors and prepared to head to the gym. As I was walking into the gym something strange happened. The weights... they... they started talking to me. They were calling me to them.... "forget your cardio... come lift instead." So I gave in. Tired, having worked a full nights shift, and with NONE of my usual preworkout drink in me at all, I decided to hit the damn weights instead.

Weight: Scale said 231lbs. But this is NOT the usual time I weight myself nor does it compare to the time I've weighed myself before so I'm not paying attention to this.

DEADLIFT: Having PR'd last session I was just looking for volume today. And whattya know? I PR'd anyway. 135x15 225x12 275x12 315x10

T-BAR ROW: I think I'm too tall for the actual "machine" for the T-Bar Row. Technically its not a machine... just a bar to put weight on and a place to put your feet and a little "saddle" for you to lay on. I feel that my form is off on this so I switched back and forth between this and doing it properly: barbell against a corner, using close hand attachment device for my grip. "Machine": 45x12,12,12 Wall: 90x10,10,10

ONE ARM DB ROW: 50x10,8 Arms were shot at this point.

SEATED NARROW ROW: Attempted 150. Nope. Even 135 felt heavy. 120x8 90x12,12

NARROW LAT PULLDOWN: 85x15 105x12,12,12

BARBELL CURL: 45x12 65x10 70x5

PREACHER CURL: 70x6 45x10

SEATED HAMMER CURL: 30DBx7,8

Strange thing? I had no preworkout. Just Craze and water. The pumps were fuggin' ridiculous. I was more pumped than I've ever been taking anything, and they lasted much longer than usual. My arms were stiff as hell. Veins popping everywhere. I couldn't believe it. Felt great. The numbers on the accessory lifts came down but I'm not surprised. I was tired and the unexpected deadlifting really sucked what energy I had right out of me. Felt good to go in there not expecting to lift and come out feeling like a million bucks.

Stay tuned,

DJ

Thanks for the encouraging words gents! Reps when I return to a computer! Meeting with our pastor today to set up how we want our service to run for the big day. Yikes! **** just got real. Haha. We're actually leaving my fiances dads place early because she wants to drive back home just to squeeze in some cardio at the gym before it closes lol. She's one crazy cardio gal. When I told her I lifted instead of did HIIT yesterday she rolled her eyes. "But you don't even run for 30 minutes anyway." She's not very understanding of the HIIT concept anyway (did cross country in high school). Oh well looks like HIIT today!!!

June 25th: CHEST/TRIS

Weight: ???

Took a buddy to the gym with me today and was pressed for time because I had to go to work tonight so we didn't fit in the entire workout I had planned. Still felt awesome though. Since I had a partner today I got to assess where I was with the barbell benchpress. I was happy about this because it has been awhile, and discouraged as well because I really wanted to go for 75x12x3 DBs. Perhaps next time if he's not with me I'll attempt it! Walked out feeling REALLY good. Triceps were all types of erect. Chest felt tore up as well. Did some cable flys and I'm not convinced they work as well as using DBs or the machine. I did notice in the mirror today that I appear physically larger than I remember myself looking. Doing incline DB press I thought my chest looked huge, and as I came down on the negative I noticed my lats through my shirt and was surprised that I looked that large... yet I'm still losing weight. AWESOME!

BB BENCHPRESS: 135x10 185x8 205x8,6+2Assist,5+1Assist 135x15 Glad to see that 205 is my working weight. Now I have a goal in mind to work with 205 until I can get it up to 10x3 or even 12x3. Felt very nice.

DB INCLINE PRESS: 50x12 too easy 55x12,12... back to 60s for next time! Strength has returned!

BB DECLINE PRESS: 135x12, 185x5 I only did this to show my friend the form. 135 felt way too light and 185 about broke me in half. When I work in decline benchpress I usually do it as my first exercise so next time I do chest I may work this in first. Decline first, flat DB press second, incline DB press last.

CABLE FLY/CROSSOVER: 40x12,12 FLYS 50x8 CROSSOVER

SKULLCRUSHERS: 80x12,9 matched what I did last time. Need more rest in between sets and I'll hit 12,12 for sure.

TRICEP PUSHDOWN: 130x12,10

NO ATTACHMENT PULLEY PUSHDOWN: 30x10,10 the burn!!! argh!!!

GUILLOTINE PRESS: 45x25 Did this one again to show my friend how I like to burn out at the end. Doing just the bar felt stupid but it was something... :)

Great times. Was bursting out of my UnderArmour shirt and I wear the biggest size they have ;)! Can't wait to hit chest again and actually give myself the time to work my full circuit. Legs tomorrow if I feel up to it, otherwise it'll be HIIT time baby!!!

Stay tuned,

Man you can run way more than me in same amount of time...I guess those long legs really help lol...keep killing Antman!!!
What's your setup look like. I think you told me once. I do 6mph warmup for 5 mins then sprint at 9.0 for 30secs and back down to 6mph for 1.5 minutes and cycle that 10 times (20 min) followed by a 5 minute cooldown either at 6mph if I'm up for it or at a walking pace. Burns so good!
