delsolrob's blow'n up for new years! (m-drol log)

Way to listen to your body and plan accordingly. Long term wisdom here..

Way to listen to your body and plan accordingly. Long term wisdom here..

yeah, I can say that I wasn't always so attentive to taking care of my body...injuries have def set me back a few times the last few years :frustrate:

Live and learn Del. I have to listen, being older my body talks alot louder..

I say, rack that b*tch up on the squat rack. Take some Taurine, and enjoy the hell out of the back pumps... it reminds me that I am on cycle.

we'll see, this almost feels like it's my sciatic nerve...I'm sitting at my desk and sometimes it feels like it starts to shoot down my left leg.

I'll just keep an eye on it for the rest of the day...maybe I'll walk home and ice it at lunch.

Sorry for the lateness, but the party can start now! lol

good to have your Avi here...I meant to say, good to have you here bro!

welcome aboard!

water
hot tub
massage

in that order :) i work on my girl's nerves every day. or get on them. dammit, i know its something with nerves....

Try warming up and then doing some stetching: Hams, rotate your hips, bring knees to chest while on your back. Get real lose and see what happens.

I mean....what are we here for? to not make gains and push past our limits? NO...stretch and warm up right, then focus, get pissed and crush some weight, the iron isnt going to lift itself. Im going to throw in a quote from one of my long time idols, Steve Prefontaine. "To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift." so ask yourself, have you really been giving your best?

Yea, but when you have a back injury it's a little different.

How did the 4 RPM treat you? I was roaring with 4!! When my current stim sup runs out I will be reving it up with RPM. And they say it gets better with time..wooohooo
On another note: I thought use of stims was a no-no when on? Clarify for me..

you're completely right! you really have to worry about BP...especially with SD!

I've used RPM to combat lethargy before and never had any issues with BP...that's not to say that I rec everyone to do it

Thanks. That's what I thought.

You're liking P-Slin, aye?

yeah, I've been taking pslin and AP for a while now though...maybe I need to take a break from it for a month or so.

yeah man I havent been on pslin for months prior to taking the bulk and the effects are just not noticeable....to be fair tho I do get a 'slight' food pump and I am shitting 1 more time a day.....this does not compare to my prior use with pslin

Lookn sexy Rob! Those numbers are impressive!

Doesnt my avi have such a nice rack?!

ugh cant wait to see my girl tonight...slap slap slap

you guys just love to quote those large posts dontcha!!!

AP worked much better than Pslin for me.

RPM and Mdrol huh Rob? lol... dose your HB...

also, I forgot to note that I had no appetite last night when I got home from the gym! I had my 50g of ATW and 45g of WMS at 8:45 (post workout), got home from training my next client at 10:45 and had a hard time forcing myself to eat. stayed up until 1am and had a muscle milk before bed.

I was really surprised that I wasn't hungry...although I had a lot pre workout. prewprkout = PB and banana on ww, 1 bowl of kashi cereal (just sounded really good) and 50g ATW. but that was at 5:30pm

Well, you for starters...

What Bslick said: get more whole foods going, not just PB/Banana ATW for meals.

that's just my preworkout carb loading stack (with p-slin).

I just bought a whole tray of steaks for this week :food: I usually just have the shake and WMS directly post workout and then I eat dinner about an hour and a half later.

That RPM will DEFINITELY do that as far as appy.

Do you get good results from using Muscle Milk pre-bed? I always would take something before bed, but since stopping that I've never slept better and my midsection isn't bloated in the morning. Unless it's EAAs or BCAAs, you will not achieve much growth hormone output at night from having a pre-bed shake. You NEED to have an empty stomach and that Muscle Milk has a fair deal of carbs and the fats will stay in the GI tract for a while... just my 2 bits worth.

I've used it before bed for some time...I've never had any issues with it. I tried BCAA's before bed and I've thought about just getting a regular casien protein for night time. I kinda use it as a dessert...yummy!

I'll give you that it has some fat in it (12g), but the # of carbs is pretty low 16g (but 5g of fiber).

I should get back on my routine of just having a tub of cottage cheese before I go to bed

Just throwin some suggestions out there so you can fine-tune $hit, ya know? I tried a lot of things and found many things to be tried and true with my application and it was greatly to my benefit. I'd like to see you exceed your gains while you're in PCT holmes.

I went to bed with a full stomach for a long ass time... Always treated me well. Now I tend to do it only when I'm hungry at night, or if I had an expecially devious exercise session.

i drink a casein shake EVERY night before bed. I try to use as little water as possible since I always seem to wake up about 2 hours too early cause I gotta pee.

I notice much more growth and recovery when I use a pre-bedtime shake. I could see how a good dose of BCAAs wouldn't hurt either.

Hey man, excellent log.
I am new in this forum and just saw your progress pics, and it's amazing how we have gone through very similar stages, except I got stuck in the 170s weight range, and its been very difficult to gain muscle weight again.
In comparison to the epi, how is the SD better? I have read the thousand people saying how toxic and bad it is, but how much better has this been in comparison to your epi run?
How have you managed your diet now? # cals, % of carbs, prot, fat?
Thanks for your help, I am trying to make up my mind about running Sd in the near future and need some encouragement.

Not sure he's been on SD long enough to compare bro... Might want to give him a couple weeks.

I've been a whey at night guy for years.I just hated it when my hunger would wake me up. I am looking into the coconut oil before bed now.

Whey doesn't keep long enough for me... Sometimes I'll do half whey half casein...

When I was on H-Drol - my shake was like 900 calories at night... Cottage cheese, cytogainer, whole milk, pineapple, blueberries, casein...

Sooooo thick.
