Dave's Newest bulk into cut for show. AAS, SLIN and GH

Dude I have to make weight next Friday, and already pulling things down in preparation (as volume is slashed heavily this week to finalize my over-reach while I do a few really heavy sets, so calorie needs dropped already). Next week is all 30% form check and bloodflow work, plus cutting, so that's gonna blow....but after weighins at 10 on Friday, I've got all day to get as heavy as possible for Sat. There will be donuts, and biscuits and gravy, and Idk what else, but it will prob look like your Sundays while you were gaining :biggthumpup:

Might as well! Hit my last big bench today and did some form check pulls @ 70-80% - time to rest, stay loose and start the water cut in a few days.

Chris Janek's gym, Tank's Training Facility in Granite City, IL. He recently got sponsored by Elitefts. Dude can lift some weight. He's squat 1,130, benches in mid-high 700s, and has pulled 900 in multiply @ 308. And he's really not that great with the gear; he's just strong. I've seen vids on his FB of him incline pressing 405x10 raw.

Make sure you take rest before the meet and fully recover, and don't take any chances on altering your technique last minute or eating weird things. Stick with what you know has been working for you, and eat foods you lift really comfortably on. Take your last heavy bench training a week out, and the last truly big squat 8-10 days out. You should already be through with your biggest deadlift of the training cycle, as that takes 14-24 days for most to fully recover from and peak.

I think a little bit of T3 could help anyone shed some bf, but he can't use the types of protocols you would use without AAS to keep him from withering away. It would have to be a very small, unsuppressive protocol that's more of a pro-metabolism dosing than a roaring furnace approach. Diet would still be the workhorse, not the hormonal environment. Not that diet should ever be treated as non-critical, but you know what I mean.
 
What do you recommend for on cycle support for an injectable cycle only? An all in one product or just a couple single ingredient bulk items? I already am prescribed Atenolol to take as needed, so I am covered for any Blood Pressure problems.

yeah I'm taking Monday to Saturday off so I walk in fully rested and recovered. Planning on staying the course as per the coaches plan. Got Friday Saturday and Sunday on technique work and speed pulls and then it's show time.

Nothing. I see minimal difference on bloodwork from using and not using on cycle support. If your diet is well rounded, you drink water and take vitamins then save your money. Use baby aspirin for bp issues and use the money you save not buying crap products and but pharmacy grade AIs

Ugh I have to go in tonight for my last technique & bloodflow session and I'm cutting some water to make weight for tomorrow. 30% is nothing, but you don't feel like doing anything when you're dehydrated with a headache.

I think the last "heavy" session depends on the program and peaking. Although, 100% agree on the food choices and not tweaking your form

Of course, it is program specific, but as a general rule nothing 90%+ happens the week of the comp.

haha pretty much. I'm actually doing it the way I did last time. I love Dbol and anadrol so much but 50mg+ of each and I just get sides that aren't worth it and I hate running a lot of AIs. So I found 20-30mg Dbol with 25-50mg of drol is perfect for me. I feel good, no gyno flare ups, no appetite suppression, I eat pretty clean so no bloat. It's the best of both worlds.

Haha I had a typo it's 100 10mg tabs of Dbol. Damn iPhone. It was the finisher I already have 100 tabs I needed another 100

7 days. Well 7 days from now and pre judging will be over. 1 more day of depletion then peak week starts Monday morning.

I finally got my 500lb squat without knee wraps this morning! Benched 300 in comp finally too! Deadlift was insanely bad, I missed my opener of 540 and barely got it on my second attempt. I didn't understand what was going on until I realized I PR'd my squat and bench, and the meet was so tiny there was only 3.5 hours from the time I started squatting to the time I started pulling!!! I'm used to 8+, and missing that meal or two and the hours of rest sealed my fate. So no way I could have done any real pulls, but still a great day and a PR total!

Thanks brother; it would be sick to see DD do one for fun in an extended off-season some time. Not really train for it, but block about a week out to recover for it and see what he can do when people are yelling at him.

Thanks man. Those are some sick numbers for only having a 3.5hr rest. I might actually see what I can do this off season. Got a buddy here who has regular meets every few months. Might hit him up and just show up lol. I hit 500x2 today on squat with only 75g of carbs in 24hrs. I wonder what I could do fully fed and rested in my off season... Challenge accepted! But my bench will blow. 2 weeks into this prep I ****ed up something in my right shoulder and it's pretty bad. I'm being held together by growth and aas right now with a lot of aggression. Definitely need to heal that up first.
 
Yeah I had to start squatting at 9:45 and we were deadlifting by 1:15. So there wasn't 3.5 hours rest, it was 3.5 hours total, including warmups and lifting for squat and bench lol. Compare that to a normal 8-10 hour meet and you realize you basically have to pick between a big squat and a big pull.

550 isn't crazy to think (full rest and a carb-load day after weighins before the meet makes a huge difference) and that's without wraps.

If you can close grip bench without issue you can do that in comp. That's how Paul Carter does it, 450 raw close grip lol

Deadlift usually makes the biggest difference. Guy here who does physique did his first push/pull last month and ran a cycle of Cube Kingpin. He'd never even pulled singles, or over like 550, and he hit 600 in the gym without chalk and 655 at the meet after his rest. Benched 405 I believe, at 220.

I bet 1,500-1,600 raw is pretty likely if you can close grip without pain.

The difference in conditioning as well as leg size is insane. I can't imagine the scoring was even all that close. Back was top class by a long shot too for width and definition.
