Any recommendations for a good gluten free beer? (for actual medical/stomach reasons, not to be “hip” or “healthy”)? The only one I’ve been able to find at any restaurants/bars is Redbridge, and even that is pretty hard to find. If I go somewhere that has options, like maybe a liquor store, it’d be nice to know what to try first. Until then I’ll stick to potato vodka or rum lol.

It's that time of year again.......

Yeah, I'm on a cut, running Ostarine and had a beer. Big whoop, right?

Found this coffee stout at the store today. Limited release by Cisco Brewing in Mass. No idea how it will be but it had my last name in the title and infers the brewer might have the same last name as well. Couldnt pass up the chance to pick up a potential distant relative's coffee stout. (Yah right, i just look for any rationality or excuse to buy beer).

Makes sense to me! Wonder if they have shirts, or at least a glass with that on it. Hope it's good

Drinking and BBing? No thank you

Hope you find your way out as easily as you found your way in ✌️.

I know Two Brothers from IL has one...gluttony it may be called (?). I know there are a lot of ciders that are gluten free as well. They're coming out with a lot of dry hopped ciders nowadays which taste a lot more like beer than the sweet ciders you stereotypically think of.

That would be cool, good idea. The brewery is 6 hours from me...If it were half that I'd probably drive there one random weekend.

How's your uncle's stout! lol

Think im gonna try it tomorrow. Either that or wait til Friday, I have been trying my damndest to save my beer indulging until the weekend.

Kzoo stout is VERY good. I had their cherry stout on draft there last year and that was one of my favorites by them (their expedition stout is also really good). The cherry was more of a tart cherry so not much sweetness at all.

How's that Faith? I've had some really amazing Smores beers, and some not so much

fantastic, best one I've ever had

Alvarado street brewery is killing it out here, other local breweries literally stop distributing their beers to stores when they find out that store carries aSB becaue they know their sh*t wont sell lol

Everything I have had from them is awesome, I hope they branch out of this area

They remind me of magic hat circa 2004 as in I can see them in ever store nationwide in 3-4 yrs lol

You live out in Monterey? Love it out there, one of my favorite places, would move there in a heartbeat!

Is that a "good drink" or a "rough drink"? Hopefully, the former, sorry to hear about the divorce, best of luck moving forward.

NBD......Life goes on. I was pretty amazed to see M-43 here in Podunk. It was a sign from above, things are gonna get better!

Tried some

Wicked Weed French toast

it was good but had a kick of alcohol taste at the end, at 9% that's sort of expected....I think I would enjoy it in the middle of winter but not a spring or summer style beer imo

These guys know what they're doing. Micro brewery near Champaign, Illinois with a very small distribution area.

I finally got to try out a Great Divide Yeti and really enjoyed it. It was from a can, but now know I like it enough to spend $20 on one bottle of beer without feeling insane.

Its $20USD? a few months ago it was up here in Toronto $9.50 CDN a bottle. Its excellent, grabbed a couple extra for the fall.

I have only seen it at one liquor store so far and I am pretty sure it was about $20-$30 for the bottled one, I just figured it was because it was aged.

Well, now that I think about it, I may be thinking of a different stout? The 12oz can was only $5 and that was at a restaurant so they usually charge more.. I don't know, I'll have to go back and check lol but I remember seeing the price and being shocked that it was more than the bottle of wine we had.

Oh I hear ya, some of these beers are so expensive lol. When we can get it anything from Cascade is 25-35 a bottle here.

I've been on a real Haze Craze, N.E. Style IPA thing lately. I blame TheMyth

This is a good one. Really roasty like your usual brown ale, but you can definitely tell its barrel aged (i looked: it's actually aged in Palo Santo tanks. A little more below) because you can almost taste some oak in it and the vanilla you get lingers on the tongue.

Out of curiosity it googled Palo Santo and this is what I got "Palo Santo or "Holy Stick" is a natural wood aromatic incense used for centuries by the Incas and indigenous people of the Andes as a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, as well as to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune, as well as for medicinal purposes." ...pretty sure alcohol works for getting "rid of evil spirits and misfortune" so it seems fitting to age a beer that turns out being 12% in it.

Some real nice looking beers! I've got one Red Stripe sitting in the fridge waiting for that one day when I get to let loose... from my DIEt and carb up.
