Citruline Malate dosage

How many grams per day of citrulline malate to see the strength gain effect?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys! I will start at 3-4grams ED. I know in some of the research studies they used 6-8grams which I thought was a bit excessive.

Does it have to all be pre workout to get the ergogenic benefits of it ?

throughout the day i use 6grams spread out but none of it pre workoit. Am i wasting it?

It's best to use it preworkout, though you may derive benefits later in the day as well. You're likely getting more of the NO-dependent benefits and less of the renal, ergogenic benefits

studies show 6-10g to get the MOST effects, however when using it in conjunction with other ingredients like agmatine, norvaline, and other NO boosters, a lesser dose shows great results.

Since I'm looking for the ergogenic (strength) benefit I should be going with a minimum of 6grams?

IMO yes. I prefer at least 6-10g for those purposes.

I dose it in the 8-9g range and love it.

I do it nearly every day.

you must indeed be a true fan!!! for it to be cost effective for me i might try 8-10gms 3x week before workouts, and 3gms rest of the week. but like vaughn said, when using agmatine with it less is needed.

That would definitely be effective. And yeah, I'm quite the fan, haha.

I don't usually combine it with others, but when I do I will dose on the lower end of that range.

i get 6.5 with 500 mg agmatine, 1 scoop body octane and 1 scoop SNS cit mal

Ha ha eveytime I check on this new thread I see where hvactech has made a new avatar

i dont see the benefit dosing non workout days

I like my CM dosed pre workout at 8-9g best!

I would use 9g only when run solo, but thats just me. Dosed everyday,. If I stack it I run it at 6g

X2 6g and 1g Agmatine

I usually run between 8-9g per day when I use it. I like to use it everyday personally I just feel like I get a better benefit from it. Its a great product and I would suggest stacking it with something strong to really get the best benefit from it.

I think my arms would explode when I stack it with agmatine lol.

When it is time for my next Enhanced if am looking forward to adding this high dose of CM to it, because my arms had this too on Enhanced without the CM. Therefore that brilliant combination is one that I should like very much.

Adding CM to Enhanced would make for a painful pump. The pumps I get from 1.5 scoops Enhanced are insane (I like it :))

what is good is that both agmatine and cit mal are so reasonably priced....around a year or 2 ago gplc was the big craze, but that stuff was ridiculous in how high priced it was...dollar for dollar agmatine and cit mal far exceed gplc.

effective products reasonably priced.....gotta love it!!!

Solid point!

Btw..... Citrulline Malate is such an underrated ingredient. I thought I should just add that in there.

It absolutely is. And its very affordable in bulk, as well as being relatively decent tasting. It has a slightly sour/tart taste, but it mixes well with many things.

I love the slightly sour taste I get when adding it to my Focus Xt :yumyum:
