CEL PCT ASSIST-REFORMULATED VERSION

took today as an off day, and went to a matinee with the grandkids. saw that car movie, had a really good time. stole some of the kids popcorn and had a diet coke, so didn't cheat too much.:veryhappy:

mood is very high and feeling good!!!:bigok:

Theater popcorn is soo good, esp loaded with butter & salt. LOL

Too damn expensive tho, that's what usually holds me back from getting any.
 
Part of the pump effect might be from the icariin. It inhibits the same enzyme as viagra, etc for vasodilation. Adding extra hgw to any test booster usually makes a difference for me

i agree, icariin treats me very well. as to the mood and feel good effects, i think that is definately the macuna res combo.



btw-theater popcorn is addicting, just the smell makes me nutz, lol.
 
I wiki'd epimedium to confirm my comments about PDE5 inhibition. The studies they cited actually showed that hgw binds MORE strongly to PDE5 than viagra. Btw, PDE5 enzyme inhibition plays a role in increased nitric oxide which then causes vasodilation.

Of course stronger PDE5 binding doesn't necessarily make hgw "better" at improving overall blood flow. For example, there are probably other enzymes and completely different avenues that viagra, cialis, etc may use to improve erection. And just to add to that, wiki never said HOW MUCH hgw was being used or what icariin%.

Wiki says that Icariin is the active in epimedium plant that we're interested in. There's a ton of epimedium variations, one of which being hgw. My understanding of the variations doesn't go beyond just seeing them listed on wiki though.

Also, I'm thinking there's evidence for test boosting from hgw, that i'm thinking isn't there for ED drugs. I'll have to look that up to confirm at some point too.

good stuff, celc. cel got the percentage and variation right according to how i am reacting. btw-i think icariin is a test imitator-whatever that means is open to interpretation, imo.
 
My celc-logic interpretation would be that it's "shaped" similar to test and might bind to an androgen-esque receptor. That's what 6oxo did... so we had lots of agression, libido, acne, but no real anabolic effect.

Oh and to contradict what I said in my last post, there IS test boosting effect from cialis according to a quick tidbit I read last night in an old MD mag. I haven't looked up the reference but I bet it will be interesting

not much new to report-which i consider a good thing. i haven't really noticed any bad effects at all since stopping androhard. the most noticeable thing is my mood being so high, not something you usually associate with pct.

During pct, I usually still have good workouts and don't really notice a ton of strength or mass loss. But I always sort of feel "out of sync." So mood enhancement during pct would be real nice.

AIM: To evaluate the testosterone mimetic properties of icariin. METHODS: Forty-eight healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats at the age of 15 months were randomly divided into four groups with 12 rats each: the control group (C), the model group (M), the icariin group (ICA) and the testosterone group (T). The reproductive system was damaged by cyclophosphamide (intraperitoneal injection, 20 mg/kg x day) for 5 consecutive days for groups M, ICA and T, at the sixth day, ICA (gastric gavage, 200 mg/kg x day) for the ICA group and sterandryl (subcutaneous injection, 5 mg/rat . day) for the T group for 7 consecutive days, respectively. The levels of serum testosterone, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), serum bone Gla-protein (BGP) and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase activity in serum (StrACP) were determined. The histological changes of the testis and the penis were observed by microscope with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase biotin-dUTP-X nick end labeling (TUNEL), respectively. RESULTS: (1) Icariin improved the condition of reproductive organs and increased the circulating levels of testosterone. (2) Icariin treatment also improved the steady-state serum BGP and might have promoted bone formation. At the same time, it decreased the serum levels of StrACP and might have reduced the bone resorption. (3) Icarrin suppressed the extent of apoptosis of penile cavernosal smooth muscle cells. CONCLUSION: Icariin has testosterone mimetic properties and has therapeutic potential in the management of hypoandrogenism.

Later in the thread, someone asked about the definition of "mimetic" as in testosterone mimetic. I believe that's where I was going with my other post about how hgw might to the receptor but not have EXACTLY the same effect as test.

another great workout today...mood and well being are both really nice. the res and macuna combo is really effective for this. libido is still very high, no drop off whatsoever. i can't really think of anything negative about pct assist.

i liked the old version......but the new version is much improved. i think anyone who liked the old will really like the new.
