Anabolic Effect Review

200963

Background
41 Years old
Lifted weights for 25 years
Tracked my food and training since 1999
Natural

During my X-Factor run (Review here) I read more and more about Anabolic Effect and people had great things to say about it.

Basics
4 bottle run
2 caps with meal 1 (pre workout), 2 caps with meal 2 (pre workout) and 2 caps with meal 5 (pre bed)
Recomping after a cut with the goal to add muscle without fat
Calories in a slight surplus

Experience
By week 3 i was starting to feel most of the known effects such as better pumps and improved recovery. But week 4 was where i really noticed that something was going on. I just felt good, even though the pandemic was going on and thing where **** i felt incredible. Awesome workouts, increased recovery while sleeping etc. These where effects that continued during my whole run.

Results
I log everything i do, everything so all small changes are all documented and will give a good picture of what been happening.
Now, every morning i step on my FitBit Aria scale which measures my weight and body fat thru bio electrical impedance. THIS IS NOT AN ACCURATE WAY OF GETTING A BODY FAT READING! But hopefully it can be used to show changes.

200964

Weight: 81,2kg to 84,3kg
Body Fat: 9% to 10,3%
Lean Body Mass: 73,9kg to 75,6kg
Fat: 7,3kg to 8,7kg

So based on the numbers i gained 3kgs where roughly half was fat and half was muscle. Now, we know these scales cant know 100% whats going on in the body. But it does give us an indication that some muscle was gained. But based on the fat amount my calories might have been a bit high. But im very happy with the results and I will absolutely run AE again.

Pictures are taken 4 months apart. Excluding the body hair on the after picture, it does seem like I have indeed put on some quality mass. I did try to hit the pose the same way at the same spot with the same camera. But small differences is to be expected.

200965

Conclusion
This is the best results any single supplement has ever given me. For a guy who has worked out his whole life, putting on this kind of muscle mass in 4 months is nothing but incredible. Its a definite re-buy for me and next time I might want to try it either in a slight caloric deficit or at maintenance to see how that goes.

Thank you for posting the review. Your thread you have for the ongoing reviews is incredible in terms of detail. Thank you for posting this outside of it as well for anyone that may not have seen your other thread or just wanted a quick summary.

Thank you man. Yeah I would very much like to run M-Test + AE together at one point. But it gets really expensive here in Europe, especially when Im already running GlycoPhase and Epi-Plex continuously haha. We never get the crazy deals I see over seas now and then.

I am absolutely looking forward to the new stuff. The natty anabolic and daily ergogenic are the two im most excited for. But then I dont know anything about what else is coming, so maybe there is something else even better for me. Time will tell!

Im running that stack now. Ive been running Epi-Plex for a couple of months and added AE to the mix this week (Log is up here).
I cannot see any cons only pros. For instance the potential Myostatin Inhibiton from Epi-Plex combined with AE anabolic and anti catabolic benefits could and should result in an enhanced effect of both supplements!

Nice review!

Yeah, tell me about the prices here in EU.. Last time I bought a bottle of AE for 50$. I would've wanted to do atleast 2 bottles, but it was my first time so didn't want to pay 100$ and find out it's not for me. But I did like it even with just 1 bottle and will buy again in the future. Just have to lurk better pirces/sales.

Now, if you are looking for things to try I thought BLR Vector was great too, if you haven't tried that one already. BLR has also a completely new natural anabolic stack coming out very soon. Big hype is all I know so far. Have you tried any transdermals? Td's are the way to go for many compounds in my mind that have poor bioavailability and/or short half life. Apex Alchemy for example has some intriguing ones, but you'd have to order them from the US. But when they're running their BOGO deals the deal would even out the high shipping cost.

We have a couple threads that can be useful to follow that I try to post about new releases in.

The 2020 Tell Us What You Want From Us Thread is Still Going Strong:

The 2021 Tell Us What You Want From Us Thread:

I'm getting ready to make a thread about the 12 new releases in 12 weeks. It will be in the supplements section.

And, I try to put up a thread for each new release in the supplements section.

ill let @sns8778 chime in as well .. IMO the stack of both would pretty awesome for 3-4months .. but if i was limited to just one, i think i would pick AE.

I think he was just asking hypothetically if he had to pick. If that were the case, I think it depends on individual results. But no need to chose unless its from financial standpoint. And if that were the case, I would probably pick Anabolic Effect. But I love both and use Epi-Plex as a daily use supplement most of the time.

I agree that they are a great stack.

Both @sns8778 and @GQdaLEGEND gave you some good answers and i agree on them. If i had all the money in the world I think I would run both (and M-Test) continuously. BUT here is my n=1 answer from my both financial and performance based standpoint. I feel that Epi-Plex is a supplement I want to run year round and then cycle AE on and off. That way I can also break up my training and diet in a way to support the most possible gains.

So here is my thoughts. When im "on" AE i can focus on mass gaining or dieting down, then between the runs I can work on growing into my weight, with Epi-Plex helping me keep my recovery high. Now I would (and will) probably run M-Test between the AE runs (again to keep the costs a bit lower, ideally id run em all together).

Im only on my second ever AE run right now, so im not the one with the most experience on the forum when it comes to these supplements. But I have tried to read everything everybody has written about them.

This is how I plan to structure my time ahead, if I still can get hold of everything after Brexit.
  • 12 Weeks of Anabolic Effect + Epi-Plex
  • 8 Weeks of M-Test + Epi-Plex
  • 12 Weeks of Anabolic Effect + Epi-Plex
  • 8 Weeks of M-Test + Epi-Plex
  • Etc
Now, SNS has teased a new natural anabolic on the way, so I might want to put that in there eventually. But I dont know when and if it will be available to me here in Europe. So I will have to sit on that plan for now.

Yeah, the prices are unfortunately not good. But Powermyself has a stack option on AE so one can save some money there. Sometimes Predator have some "natural anabolic" sales that can help as well. But as we both know, now with Brexit who knows whats going to happen.

Ive looked at Vector but thats even higher priced so Ive found it hard to justify it. I did try a topical Laxogenin and unfortunately got nothing from it. Now that can just be the fact that Laxogenin doesnt seem to do much for many of us. But im absolutely interested in trying more transdermals in the future. There are just not that many natural muscle builders in that category. Most are either cutting ones or crossing the natty threshold.

Hopefully brands like XPG and Iconic Formulations come out with more natty topicals in the future. And again, that they are available from European distributors (i know i hark on about this, but the whole thing just sucks ass).

I have tried to order from over seas a couple of times and never got my goods so that was money out the window. So I dont know if ill ever try that again.

I had to check and the price of Vector is about the same as AE if taking advantage of the AE bundle. BUT my memory was off as I remenbered them having some different ingridients, but now that I checked the AE has all the 3 components Vector has + 4 more and the Korean Mistletoe dosing is double of that of Vector's. So yeah, no reason to get Vector if you have access to AE.

I didn't get anything out of oral laxo, so I'd think the laxo just isn't worth it then.

I'm sure the UK - EU situation will get settled and we can continue making orders from the UK. Just have to pay the additional vat, but it is what it is.

Thanks for your review - you saw my log with EpiPlex - I was in between Epi and AE at the time of purchase. After I finish my Epi log I'm definitely getting a couple bottles of AE

If you were referring to my posts on AE I might have had covid. Talking with friends who have had it as well as my sister who works at a medical center, my symptoms point to covid. I'm most likely going to revisit AE in a couple months and know for certain. The first 2-3 weeks of AE (libido/sleep/strength) were great before the headaches, severe brain fog/confusion, etc etc kicked the living **** out of me.

That does sound like Covid symptoms from some people I've known that had it. I talked to someone today that described it as the worst brain fog he had ever had. But that he thought it was just stress until the confusion set in and he knew something was really wrong.

I really don't think the headaches would have been from AE or it doesn't seem like they would've took weeks to start.

Yeah the brain fog was something else... I ran out of clean clothes for work so I was standing in front of my washing machine with my laundry basket and detergent for like 20+mins trying to figure out how to do it. I couldn't connect the dots to what I was supposed to do. I don't know how else to really explain the brain fog.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. Your experience lines up with what I've heard others say about it. I think that's a big thing with Covid is that it affects different people so differently.
