Looks good. This is doing 8mg most days of the week and 2 days at 7mg. Could the 19 e2 explain the achiness? Not many other symptoms i can easily identify of low e2, unlike when I’m 17 or below.
Thanks. Yeah, the dhea angle is likely the best move, but nervous about it because years ago it also gave me a stimulated feeling. I just need to man up and do it lolNo, not unless you have been feeling achey basically for eons (since you have been doing 6-8mg daily for as long as I can recall). But definitely not your recent/transient aches.
Bloods look good homie, really solid numbers for year round wellness.
If you wanted to raise e2 (which seems perfectly reasonable from a number perspective relative to your total and free test, mind you), you could go to 8mg daily, take less frequent shots, or simplest would be to add a little DHEA (or Pregnenolone).
Going away from daily shots I know is a bad lifestyle move for you, and obviously raising testosterone dose will also raise that (quite possibly even moreso than estrogen). So the simplest move is just pop a cheap 25mg DHEA cap here or there before a training session. A little can do a lot, so 1-3x a week might be plenty of extra estrogen as sensitive as you are to hormones. But should give a little mood/focus boost for that session.
Looking past through my log. 30 pound loss over 2 years!Right on. I’d love to get under 200, even to 190, but I doubt I’d stay that consistent until then.
Today is day 1.
Weight: 234

For now, I’m going to 8mg daily.
The e2 number is interesting though, because at this test dose prior but weighing 20-30 pounds heavier, my e2 was ~50. I was just too fat![]()
Wait, can you expand on the blood thickness point? I don’t understand. There’s a reason they say being leaner gives you less sides and more results from steroids/testosterone. I have generally seen less need for AI and less acne the lower bodyfat I’ve gotten. Plus obviously BP and blood thickness aren’t challenged has hard with lower absolute bodyweight.
Wait, can you expand on the blood thickness point? I don’t understand.
Ah, ok. Well, that’s one that doesn’t apply to me. I’ve had 2 sleep studies both negative for sleep apnea.Heavier you are at a given level of muscle, the thicker your neck. Thicker your neck, worse your sleep apnea becomes. The worse you oxygenate in your sleep, the more the body thickens blood to try to compensate for insufficient oxygen supply.
Many heavyweights who slim down substantially find their need for a CPAP diminishes. And using a CPAP when you are bigger is essential to managing blood thickness.
Yes! And i do believe positive body recomposition happening too, particularly in the arms. Size is about the same, but biceps appear larger.Weight coming down!
No Sir, it is all relative. Literally, it is all relative, the muscle looks bigger because as the fat receeds the difference between the peaks and valleys of the muscle become obvious. As the muscle becomes more visible you look more muscular but laymen consider that bigger. The muscles do look bigger because the lowest visible points are now much farther from the peaks relatively speaking.dude thats the most ironic thing in this game that I don't think I'll ever understand no matter how many different ways people try to explain to themselves. but when you lean up, you look more jacked and its just weird. When I'm 20lbs lighter than I am today, even 25lbs lighter, people say things like "man you've been bulking up". I'm like F U bro, I'm down 25lbs you calling me fat?![]()
I get more compliments under 190lbs than over 200. which is just bizarre to me. its probably cause I just look so scary big and strong now they're afraid to talk to me idk.
this has to be the thing, right? I mean I understand that explanation of it but I'm talking with my gym clothes on so I always think I look better in my gym shirts NOW at 205+ than 190 and less. a dude I've been gyming with for a few years, whos name I have never known, is on the tail end of a cut. he's very vascular and thinking of getting on stage. we talked about the level of gear he'd need to compete at our local cup, as it's very very competitive, but TO ME, he looks so much smaller now. he's bigger than me a little bit. we're similar in strength, but that cut has cost him a lot of size in the arms etc. but I bet you are right that other people see him and think he looks more jacked now.but laymen
That is more than likely true unless he was carrying a lot more fat, and or he dieted down to fast losing some muscle in the process. Now I think especially in clothes you can look smaller especially if you let your shirts get loose instead of buying one that fits your new body it becomes obvious. I now I am going to be smaller when I cut back down, but I almost expect to hear someone say I am getting bigger once I get down closer to 15-20%.this has to be the thing, right? He was already fairly vascular, he sorta looked like a smaller Larry Wheels but with a way bigger fro. Now he's paper thin vascular. like I'd bet if he were competing natty (which I'm sure he's not) he'd be stage ready within a month from where he is. but there is the conundrum. he's too small for enhanced, and likely too enhanced for natty, but is very very lean. That was sorta my conundrum when I toyed with getting on stage. dieting down for natty probably would have worked OK for me, but the only shows local to me were all untested and I would have got my ass beat by guys carrying 20 more lbs of lean mass so it wasn't worth it, although I did toy with physique. I was at least much closer to fitting in among that crowd. That is more than likely true unless he was carrying a lot more fat, and or he dieted down to fast losing some muscle in the process.
zero doubt. Also you are in your fifties and in my personal opinion as we get up into the 40s, 50s, and 60s, shoulders are a status symbol. just holding some mass in that upper body is huge as the belly shrinks.I think the next 10lbs or so will make a huge difference in how I look.
