Morning AM, BOSSMAN doing the dam thang in the freezing ass cold 🥶

I could have trained for 3 hours today!!!! Must have been the anabolic jalapeños pepperoni pizza and 8 hours of sleep.

Got on the scale today for first time in 2 months. Bro ive been grubbing and not tracking anything. I'm the same weight I was at the beginning of my 5 x 5 routine I started 10 weeks ago. I'm thinking this is a good thing.

Morning AM, Rich Piana said there is no such thing as over training 💪. Arnold trained 3 hours, twice a day, 6 days a week 💪.

I'm on 9th workout in 10 days 💪and feeling great. Today was CardiOOOOOOO 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ . Wasn't too bad. Worked up a good sweat.

Morning AM, BOSSMAN up and at it on a Friday. Not such a great workout this morning. Came into the workout not focused, my father in law came into town last night for two weeks and it just puts me in a fukkd up mood.

Anyways got a good 7 hours of sleep last night. Did get in a session this morning. Slight silly pain in right shoulder arm area so shut down bench. Today is 10th workout in 11 days i believe. Gonna make the best of the day.

Got two feet on the ground and everyone is healthy. New job is going great, tons of hours for now. Understandably because we just set up a new wash plant and are mining some nice sand and gravel. Stuff is like gold.

Bball game tonight, only 3 games left for my son. Next week is senior night 😰. Seems like I just walked my oldest out for his senior night on the football field. I literally had to carry him off the field after the game.

This is gonna be tough for my youngest son, but I hope to hold it together and be there for him however he handles it.

My daughter is the only 7th grader to make the middle school bball team. Everyone else is 8th grade. She be ballin too 😍

Good looking out for yourself. No one else will do it for you. A guy has gotta know when to pump the brakes before shite gets awry. It happens to everybody at some point but how you handle it dictates your path. Longevity is the goal!

I’m sure your boys will be solid. They have an excellent father who has helped mold them into men. A rarity these days and you should take pride in knowing you are the catalyst.

We have raised them with reality. Not to sound like a dick, but I'm not afraid to hurt my kids feelings. It builds character and let's them know when they are doing wrong.

I also share with them all my failures in life and how I chose to fix them and be better.

That also seems like a weekly conversation 👻😈🤑🤑🤑🤑

Morning AM, ass crack early on a Saturday. Off to mine some sand and gravel. We have hit a good string of material so we have to get it while the weather cooperates. Water is your enemy while mining.

Nice lil workout this morning to keep things moving. Lightly tested the shoulder on db incline. I think we're good 👍

Not really keeping track but I think today is 11 workouts in 12 days. Will probably take a rest day tomorrow and sleep in. After today's shift I will be at 64 hours this week. Tax man gonna rape my ass.

Morning AM, BOSSMAN up and at it for first workout of the week. I took off Sunday and Monday from training after a strong 12-13 run on training with one day off. I slept all day Sunday, and when I say all day....430pm!! Dinner, football, and back to sleep. Pretty sure I accomplished over a 24 hour fast also. Yesterday was no day job due to rain. After a solid 7 hour sleep, I relaxed again throughout the day with added sleep. Last night sleep wasn't so well, tossing and turning. My daughter made me a fruit smoothie and I'm sure it was loaded with sugar with the added juice.

Workout this morning I wasn't all here. Elevated anxiety for some reason 😕. Haven't really had to deal with anxiety to much lately but I guess today is the day. Hopefully getting to work will clear things up and occupy my dam mind.

He will be starting the 5 x 5 program next week for 12 weeks. Im not real sure what he has been doing for training so maybe this will help him get rounded out. Pump that chest up a bit, I know he hasn't been doing lower body, and get the shoulders and traps swole.

Proud of him, he is starting to meal prep also. Might need him to come back to MD and start taking care of me 🤠

He is looking thick and beefy! Get him on those damn legs. Tell him that is where all the power comes from while standing. You can't transfer all the power he built up top without the same strong base to use it from. Plus nobody wants to play catch up.

I sent him the same template I did the last 12 weeks. If he stays true, which I believe in him, he will be hitting legs a ton.

He is dreading the first few days if real doms. Told him to suck it up and get it over with

So I'm looking into a new program, had great success with the 5 x 5 for 12 weeks and will be revisiting that again 💪

I got some great recommendations from

On some different programs and I'm taking my time to make a decision.

As you can see I played around with the GVT this morning . I plan to mess with it for a few more days and see how it goes. Probably gonna need some joint support 🏋️‍♀️

Well, you prob saw that I'm running GVT in my log. Definitely taxing to do that kind of volume, so hopefully will force growth! My coach has me starting with 60% of my 1 RM and increasing each week by 2%. So just looking at the above, if you do GVT I think you may be able to do a little more weight knowing your strength. Of course it needs to be low enough to get you through all of your sets, which I'm still finding.

Yeah man it seems brutal

I may give it a 4-5 week run. In all honesty once I got to set 8-10 this morning on bench the last few reps were a challenge. Triceps were smoking

Yeah you want to do GVT with a 4-0-2-0, or 4-0-0-0 tempo also, and it should cause you to fail on several of the sets. When doing it the way it is set up you do not need to do extra chest work outside of the 3 sets of accessories. Trhy the `135 with the slow tempo and see how it does for you.

This is a pretty good write up on the program.

Nothing like a good volume block to slap on some mass. I think you will blow up (in a good monster type of way) with this new stimulus if you stick with it.
