Training
45 minutes of muscle pump class followed by 15 minute core. Did a lot of upper body work today and I have to say my shoulders and bi's felt like they were going to pop out. Class revolved around supersetting 3 different exercises for 3 sets then 1 min rest, then right back into it.

Diet
Breakfast - 1 scoop of choc protein pwdr, cinnamon, 3tsp of natty pb and an banana, 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - Grilled Chicken Salad, fish oil
Post W/O - BBQ, fried squash, orange
Dinner - Grilled Chicken, asparagus, fish oil

Notes - Another sweat fest today. The combo of CN + Plasmagen and Meso really produces the sweat. I'm also pretty sore from yesterday's workout, my mid-back especially. On another note, kind of funny thing in the gym today. Had this new guy (I'm guessing a resolutioner) come in and workout. He was about 6'5, 6'6 and I'd guess between 275 and 300 but he wasn't fat. Just a big dude. I kept noticing him looking at me but the funny thing was I was looking at him too (non homo way), wishing I had his base to work with. I was like, man if I had his size I'd be a monster and he was probably thinking man I wish I was as skinny as that guy. Moral of the story is we bodybuilders are never satisfied. When I have a 6 pack, I'm always thinking I'm to skinny and need some more meat on my bones, and when I'm bulking and got good strength I'm wishing I had my 6 pack back. Oh well, here's to finding a happy median in the future.

After 3 cycles, finished up with 3x10 of Skullchrushers and machine bicep curls.
Then 15 minutes on the tready.

Notes - Another quality workout. For me I don't really seem to notice much of a difference from 5 caps to 6caps of CN, so I've dropped to 6caps a day. I do notice a difference between 4 to 5, but not so much from 5 to 6. I'm loving the Plasmagen so far, endurance just keeps getting better.

Friday bball as usual. Played a good hour today. I was feeling really good from the Meso and wanted to run hard, but on the 1st play of the game, I stole the ball and when turned up court to start dribbling I re-aggravated an old strained groin muscle. (I don't think it was as much re-aggravating it as more of I really didn't give it time to heal from the last time. I played through the injury last time and it never fully healed). Had a lot of pain, when trying to run. After about 30 minutes of stretching and jogging around, I guess the blood got to flowing good enough that the pain was minimal for the last half of playing. Will definately have to keep a check on this. Luckily I just bought the Joint Force and Osteo-Sport stack and began taking them Friday night.

Great workout, arms must've been pumped! You should do yourself a favor, and take before and after measurements. You'll be shocked at the difference, at least I was.

Notes - Judging from how sore I'm today, I had a really good workout yesterday. Today's workout was good. I went up 5lbs on all weighted exercises. Endurance seems to be increasing as well, because last week when I done the exact same routine, I was sweating profusely while this week I went at it just as hard and was only sweating minimally after I was finished.

Training
Done a Muscle Pump class today but we had a new trainer. Trainer didn't have us using as many weighted exercises as I would have liked, but killed us with static holds and lactic acid burn. For instance, had us doing 15 reps of lunges, then hold at bottom postion for 30 seconds, then pulse up and down for about another 15 seconds then finish off with 8 more full lunges. While I probably wouldn't take this class on a full time basis, it was nice to break things up and exercise totally different than what I'm used to.

Also played about an hour of bball tonight as well. The school my kids play bball for are having a coaches tournament against other schools, so the coaches got together and practiced tonight. We play Sat night.

Diet

Yeah, winter time is really busy for me. I'm a bball guy, so I take advantage of it while I can. Once the leagues start up in a few weeks I'll be playing bball about 4-5 times a week for about 2 months. Funny thing is, it never fails after that much ball in such a short timeframe, I'm really glad when it's over with.

The running around from coaching my kids bball teams will be over with in about 3 weeks, but I've already promised them to start taking them to karate classes once ball is over with. That's twice a week there, so no break.

Funny you guys mentioned about having an active lifestyle. That plus low-carbing it, seems to have caught up with me today. Just didn't have it mentally or physically today. Over the years, I have learned to listen to my body, and knowing I'm playing bball tomorrow and Sat, I knew I needed a break. But instead of just blowing off the gym entirely, I done something today that I've never done before, Yoga and Pilates. I went into the gym with the mindset to just do some low-impact cardio on the tready, but really wanted to do something different. I began to think of different things I could do, and I remembered that the P90X routine had a yoga day, so I said what the heck, I'll give it a shot. The gym had a Yoga/Pilate's DVD, so I stuck in the TV and did about 45 minutes worth stretching and bending that my body's never done before. I believe every bone popped multiple times from all the stretching. It was actually a nice break from lifting.

Taking Meso before Yoga would be intense, give ya the feeling of wanting to go hard but having to take it easy. Stretching is great, I never tried the DC stretching but my buddy swears by it.

bball both Friday and Saturday. On Friday it was the usual get with the guys at work and play for an hour or so. Had some decent games but nothing to strenous. Sat was the coaches round-robin tournament to benefit the local school's. Our school won the tournament, but there was some tough games. I've found the older we get, the less pretty the game is, but we make up for it with being rougher. Was definately some hard fouls, and trash talking going on. Although this was for charity and meant nothing at all, you would have thought their was NBA scouts seating in the bleachers. Unfortunately I got caught up in it too. Had this young kid (was told he was 20) keep talking smack to me during the game. For most of the game, I just ignored him. But we got up by over 10 points with less than a minute to go and the guy was still talking junk. I basically had enough and started talking junk back to him. I was like, why are you running your mouth when your going to lose the ball game. Then he said something smart back to me and I looked at him and told him I was almost 40 years old and I could still whip his ass. When I told him that he wanted to bet $100 on it. I told him let's go, but things got settled down due to 2 players on my team were Highway Patrolmen. I can't stand young punks running their mouths when there losing. It just doesn't make sense to me. I guess it's not about winning, it's about how the individual did, not the team.

Notes - Cardio and endurance was pretty good. I have a feeling the Meso+CN+Plasmagen combo had me so energized during the ball game that it played a part in wanting to kicks the kids ass. All in all a good weekend. Did have a few cheat meals over the weekend, but overall diet was kept in check.

Got to admit it's feeling really good. Pumps are good, but with just those 2 stacked, the increased endurance and ability to knock out the last few reps is where it's at. Then you add in the Creatine Nitrate and you get awesome pumps and increased strength. An all-around awesome combo.

Notes - Funny thing happened today. After the class, had one of the guys that was in the class with me come up and ask if I would train him. He said, he looked at both me and the instructor and I was in better shape than the instructor was so he would rather take advice from me. I kind of chuckled and said yeah I was bigger (muscular wise) than the instructor but endurance/cardio wise the instructor would kill me. He consistenly runs in Triathalons. I tried to explain the difference between muscular shape and cardiovasular shape, but I don't think he got it. But I did tell him I'd hit the gym with him next week to lift some weights.

Also, last friday I played bball for about 1.5 hours as well. Got lucky and got on a good team. We stayed up the whole time. On Friday I only took 1 scoop of Meso. I can definately tell the difference now when I just take meso and when I take it with Plasmagen and Creatine Nitrate. While Meso still gives me the kick in the pants that I like, it's nothing like the combo together.

Thanks, my PR was about 5-6 years ago on a 1-T run. I got 3 reps of 305. I thought about trying to hit the 300 mark for 1 rep just to see if I could get it. I might try on my last day of the stack which unfortunately is coming close.

Mulit - morning, night

Training - didn't get a chance to focus on my training as much as I would have liked today. Like I mentioned last week, 2 guys asked me to train them and today was the 1st day. I created a total body program for them and walked through every exercise with them so they could learn the proper technique. After I was finished with them, I had little time for myself. So I did a quick back/tri's workout

WG Pullups 3x8 @ BW superset with Tricep db overhead press 3x10 @ 40
Close Grip Pulldowns 3x10 @ 150 superset with BW dips for 15
Cable rows 3x12 @ 50 superset with rope pushdowns 3x12 @ 80

Diet
Breakfast - 1 scoop of choc protein pwdr, cinnamon, 3tsp of natty pb, orange, 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - vegetable beef soup with 1/2 grapefruit
Post W/O - vegetable beef soup with 1/2 grapefruit
Evening - bbq and vegetables
Night - Greek yogurt with natty pb and cinnamom

Notes - I was amazed at just how little the guys knew about lifting weights. They have been in the classes Ive been taken for awhile, but knew nothing about lifting. Their form was beyond bad. The hard thing was they used to lift on there own and they had their form already ingrained in their brain so I had to reteach them almost everything. Their squat and deadlift form was awful. I'm scared their going to try and go heavy and hurt themselves.
 
Day 34, Feb 9

Mulit - morning, night

Training - Did my muscle pump class today. Pretty good workout, instructor incorporated some Olympic Style lifts like hang pulls, clean and jerks etc... Class is usually more on the aerobic side, but today's was more muscular. I hope we continue with these exercises.

Diet
Breakfast - 1 scoop of choc protein pwdr, cinnamon, 3tsp of natty pb, apple, 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - shake made of 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1 scoop of choc. protein pwdr, cinnamon and 3tsp of natty pb
Post W/O - bbq, vegetables, grapefruit
Evening - Chicken Salad Sandwich on wheat
Evening snack during Duke vs Carolina game (chips and salsa) - go duke
Night - Greek yogurt with natty pb and cinnamom

Notes - Not much to report that I haven't already said. The combo is most excellent for pumps, energy and vascularity. I really good non-hormonal stength stack. Sadly my run is coming to an end. I believe sometime next week will be it.
 
Day 35, Feb 10

Training - Day 2 of tutoring the guys. Again today was just another round of me showing them how to properly do exercises and them figuring what poundage they need to start from beginning next week. After that I did the following
DB Press - 3x5 @ 90
DB Rows - 3x5 @ 100
Legg Press - 3x10 @ 300
Leg Curls - 3x10 @ 150
Leg Extension 3x10 @ 135
Calf Raises 3x20 @ 300

Diet

Notes - Pissed off at myself, forgot to take my 4 caps of CN post-workout. Workout was good, but I'm kind of second thinking myself with agreeing to help the other guys. It's messing with my time. Hopefully after a few weeks they can fly on their own.
 
Helping others always seems to help me out in unexpected ways. Don't let it anger you, and just get them off to a good start.

Maybe set a deadline when you want them to be self sufficient to give you and them a target?
 
I almost forgot to take my CN pre-workout, but just remembered right before leaving to the gym lol
 
Sorry for lack of updates, been under the weather the last couple of days. I did play ball last Friday, but only took 1 scoop of Mesomorph. I've laid off taking the Creatine Nitrate and Plasmagen the over the weekend just because I didn't want to waste it. I have 3 days left so I want to use them in the gym. Didn't do a whole lot today, but weather was nice in NC (first time in 60's in a while), so I went outside just to walk for about 45 minutes. Other than that, I'm racking my brain on what to do for my wife for Valentine's. Guess I shouldn't wait to the last minute huh!
